Hare Krishna Maharaja, please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to Jayananda Prabhu! All glories to you! 

Thank you so much for all of the links to the songs and the lyrics. It’s been a great source of inspiration and study. Deeper perspective and illuminations on songs I already knew(or thought I knew) and then songs I hadn’t heard before like PPM’s hymn and PS’s wedding song!!

Susan Boyle (bolo) was a real shocker and very inspired by her down to earth/realness and sincerity, particularly in that TV show setting. Reminds me that amazing artists and musicians are everywhere and connected to the source(Krsna). Also, you have inspired me to dive deeper into Phil Ochs. He definitely takes the observer roll in his writing to great heights and has so much sincerity/depth. 

Also, really appreciated the It’s a Beautiful Day song you played in class yesterday about Time. It was an exciting answer to prabhu’s question. Relating all of these songs to our teachings is very enlivening for us because I always knew there was something there in them before meeting devotees and now I am beginning to see more of the full picture as a listener but also as a writer my self.

Music and writing has always been a call and response type of thing for me. Hearing fully with one pointed attention then responding. Responding like it could be my last breath informed by the mood of the call. Kirtan. This is what I love and have always loved and you are helping me understand more and more. Got a long row to hoe though!

Actually Maharaja, this whole album that’s coming out in July is dedicated to you and is my offering to you. The music and the album art. Sound and form. But I would say it’s only 20 percent Krishna conscious maybe (lyrically and also Maha manta and Nitai Gauranga made it into a few songs).

60 percent spiritual preservative and maybe 20 percent just karmi music lol. Any amount of the depth in it is because of you and Parampara. I’m pretty happy with how it all came together.

About 4 years of writing, producing and praying to God to allow it to happen and that it may have some worth. Always a little nervous that it was “over-endeavoring for mundane things that are very difficult to obtain”.

Lastly, morning program is going very well.

Sometimes it’s just me and Madhava Prabhu but later in the week and weekends we’ve been having a couple new devotees and the new devotees who live here now. Dina Tarani and Dayalu Prabhus. They are in their early 20s but have so many talents and strengths to offer our community. Kalakantha Prabhu and Radhika Ramana Prabhu have both had instructed me to mentor Dayalu prabhu. It’s very challenging and purifying but have been having really good classes and discussions in the mornings. Class every morning! With rotating schedule thanks to Anadi TP. Also, I have been taking more and more guidance from Madhava Prabhu here(our head Pujari). That relationship is expanding with the help of your last letter guiding me to NOI text 5.

Thank you Maharaja, I could write you a novel but am trying to keep it short and more frequent. It’s so wonderful to hear your classes everyday (past and present). Thank you. 

Please pray that Aja doesn’t forget about Krishna in the onslaught of teenage years. He’s having a very rough time to say the least.

HpS - Canakhya Pandita writes like, every young man's years from 18-25 are his greatest battle with his senses, but whatever he can win from the war are his greatest assets for the rest of his life. 😄

I hope you were able to leave Houston before the Thunderstorms came in.

The day after Sadhu Sanga, we had a very bad thunderstorm in Dallas and 80 mph winds.. About 1 million ppl lost power and it is still being restored. Thankfully we were not affected by the power outage.

Radhanath Maharaja was here for a few days after Sadhu Sanga and I was able to present him with a copy of TPP. Maharaja wanted me to convey his gratitude to you. This Sunday, we will have Candramouli Maharaja give the Sunday feast and I'll try to give him a copy too.

Should I ship a few copies to Srirama so that he can distribute it when you are in Atlanta?

HpS/ASA - Let us ask him when we talk.

We went for Mataji's check up today and everything looks ok. The baby is not in any worry for now. Four more weeks before birthday.

I am chanting 16 rounds , following 4 regulative principles and doing FMP (albeit a little late around 8.30).

We had the Simantoshanam Samskar for Vishaka last Sunday. We had about 50 - 60 devotees participate in yagna and kirtan. It was a wonderful ceremony made more wonderful by such a large gathering of devotees.

She's 35 weeks along.

We are expecting the delivery to be in the third or fourth week of June. Guru Maharaj.

We try to read Sriman Bhagavatam every day to the baby. We have finished Canto 7 Chapter 1 till now.

We also play lectures all night so the baby keeps listening even when we are asleep. We hope to have a wonderful devotee child who will serve Prabhupada's mission.

ASA - Will not be an ordinary child. That is for sure.

It is so fortuitous that you are visiting Atlanta at this time for the Rath Yatra and Panihatti festival.

Please let us know how best we can serve You during Your visit here.

We can make nice prasadam and bring it for You.

Will you be staying at the temple for the 2 days You'll be here, Guru Maharaj?

Vishaka's parents are also here with us. It would be wonderful for them to meet and serve you.

Vishaka is also giving a small 20 min talk on Dhruva on June 1st. They have cultural programs during the two days and the organizers have asked her to give a Harikatha.

Gurumaharaja hace unas horas dejó el cuerpo la única tía que me quedaba en este mundo. Mi tía Ana Salas Vivanco ,la profesora. Ella siempre respaldó mi vida espiritual, me insistía para que la lleve a escuchar tus conferencias en las universidades, tomaba Maha y se volvió vegetariana, tenía más de 80 años de edad. Pido humildemente tus valiosas oraciones para su alma por favor 🙏 por favor 🙏 por favor 🙏

Es interesante como Krishna me va despegando de las ataduras familiares terrenales. Tengo un sentimiento de tristeza, alivio y responsabilidad. Recuerdo que una vez leí que si una persona se vuelve Hare Krishna puede ayudar a liberar generaciones pasadas y futuras...

Gurumaharaja, sin tu misericordia de siempre recordarme cumplir mi promesa con Srila Prabhupada, mi vida no tendría rumbo... KRISHNA!!!

Gurudeva quiero hacer de su conocimiento que he estado cuidando de mi madre, sigo con mis rondas , mis principios, atendiendo a mis deidades Gaura Nitay , trabajando por momentos durante el día.

Mi mamá, Juana Torres de 91 años de edad , ayer 13 de mayo del 2024 , entregó su cuerpo, me siento tranquilo pues la cuide y la atendí con todo mi amor.

Le pido con toda humildad si puede por favor elevar un oración para mi mamá que le ayude a ir trascendiendo.

Orando constantemente a nuestro Señor Nrsmhadeva, le mantenga eternamente bajo su protección. 🙏

Muchas gracias por su misericordiosa guía, instrucción y ejemplo. Son el mayor aliciente para continuar con mi insignificante esfuerzo de ser parte de la trascendental orquesta de Srila Prabhupada.

Tengo muchos deseos de poder visitarlo en España. Un muy buen amigo (que es como un hermano) ha estado intentando ayudarme con eso. Sin embargo, estas últimas semanas la salud de mi cuerpo volvió a colapsar seriamente y por ahora no parece buena idea. (Me siento muy muy muy triste por eso). Aunque debo confesar, que algunas veces me es difícil valorar y entender la misericordia de nuestro Señor ¡Solo confío en que está ahí!.

Hace tiempo alguien me dijo “nadie quiere vivir con un enfermo”, creo que lo entiendo un poco. ¡Incluso para mí es muy difícil! Pero, aunque muchas veces me siento bastante inútil, acepto estas dificultades como la misericordia infinita de nuestras Señorías, además es seguro que me llegan mucho menos de las reacciones que merezco. Entonces vuelvo a mi limitada posición e intento ocuparme en servicio desde ahí (tanto como me es posible) es sorprendente, pero aún en esta condición siempre hay algo por hacer. ¡Krsna, el misericordioso Ki Jaya!

Gurudeva, en su respuesta a mi carta más reciente, usted me preguntó: “What kind of body do you want next?”

Meditamos profundamente en ello: 

Si a nuestro Señor le parece bien y por su infinita misericordia sin causa es posible… Únicamente aspiro poder estudiar la trascendental ciencia del Servicio Devocional bajo su guía. Poder estar cerca de usted, porque eso significará estar cerca de Srila Prabhupada y cerca de nuestro Señor.

Si nuestras Señorías lo consideran apropiado, quisiera tener un cuerpo apto para poder ofrecer un mejor servicio devocional, que me permita relacionarme armoniosamente con los vaisnavas, escuchar y cantar los Santos Nombres de nuestro Señor y Sus trascendentales pasatiempos. Y ser útil en este trascendental ejército de Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. (De sobra sé que no merezco nada de lo anterior, únicamente me queda implorar la misericordia de los devotos y de nuestras Señorías).

Por ahora, solo por su misericordia sin causa, hago tanto como me es posible con amor y sinceridad, esperando algún día poder ser útil a su Sankirtana. Muchas gracias por mantenernos vivos y en pie de lucha querido Gurudeva. Por favor acepte mis reverencias y cariño.

Thank you very much for his gracious guidance, instruction and example. They are the greatest incentive to continue with my insignificant effort to be part of Srila Prabhupada's transcendental orchestra.

I really want to visit him in Spain. A very good friend (who is like a brother) has been trying to help me with that. However, these last few weeks my body's health has seriously collapsed again, and for now it doesn't seem like a good idea. (I feel very very very sad about that). Although I must confess, sometimes it is difficult for me to value and understand the mercy of our Lord. I only trust that he is there!

ASA - My personal experience was that when I could not go to Vrndavana for Kartika but went to Peru instead, first time, I was more in Vrndavana than I had ever been.

Come with us to Spain.

In spirit!!

Some time ago someone told me “no one wants to live with a sick person”, I think I understand it a little.

Even for me it is very difficult!

But, although I often feel quite useless, I accept these difficulties as the infinite mercy of our Lordships, and it is certain that I receive much less of the reactions I deserve.

Then I return to my limited position and try to engage in service from there (as much as possible) it is surprising, but even in this condition there is always something to do. Krishna, the merciful Ki Jaya!

HpS - We have limited ability with our current human body and limited health. Yet, imagine how much more we can do than if we were in a cockroach body. 🐛

Your efforts remind us to use every breath to chant.

Gurudeva, in his response to my most recent letter, you asked me: “What kind of body do you want next?”

We meditate deeply on it:

If it seems good to our Lord and by his infinite causeless mercy it is possible... I only aspire to be able to study the transcendental science of Devotional Service under his guidance. Being able to be close to you, because that will mean being close to Srila Prabhupada and close to our Lord.

If our Lordships consider it appropriate, I would like to have a body capable of offering a better devotional service, which allows me to relate harmoniously with the Vaisnavas, listen to and chant the Holy Names of our Lord and the transcendental pastimes of him. And be useful in this transcendental army of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. (I know very well that I do not deserve any of the above, I can only implore the mercy of the devotees and our Lordships).

HpS - I can only hear the sounds of Nimai and the town of Nadiya. Wackk, Rack, Quach, Quack!

Shall we all be young boyfriends of Nimai and Gadai???

Shall we all love Mother Sacci like our own mother?

For now, only out of His causeless mercy, I do as much as possible with love and sincerity, hoping one day to be useful to His Sankirtana. Thank you very much for keeping us alive and fighting, dear Gurudeva. Please accept my bows and affection.
