In Mayapur (Feb) you asked me how was the youth program here at New Govadhan. I had no reply because I couldn’t recall one, which was silly because in 2011 (Vrindavan) I had asked you for advice on running a youth program. I was driving on to New Govardhan farm a few weeks ago and I saw the place what once was Hanuman House and I remembered. We did have a youth program! I just forgot about it. It was called "Hanuman House". A team of my generation would get together once ever couple of months and take the local youth camping on the Krishna farm, do archery, swimming and cooking the Sunday feast. We did this 2012-2014 and even built a club house. After leaving Murwillumbah for 2.5 years I forgot about it. It went well but was hard for us to find the time to maintain with our busy grihasta lives. Also the club house blew down in a storm and was recycled.

HpS - Wow!    This Calendar stuff is intense: Half the time planning the travel, other half traveling and then tryin to preach.  O.K.   Here is the progress.   We finaly looked at it and we get back from Boise, Sacramento, San Jose, Seattle, Houston, Mexico, Lima, Santiago, Lima, Chosica, Cusco, La Paz, Lima, Arequipa, Houston .....  on the 26th July.  Gonna be a little exhausted, Ei, Mate!!!   So, it seems sane that we rest our Ass for two months before we start off again.  That would mean heading for Boise, Hawaii, India .. about the 26th Sept.  O.K. with Hawaii,    BUT     .heavy pressure to go to the Interim GBC Meeting on the 9-17th of October (We've been researching tickets carefully also).   So, that would mean that it would be best to go to India first then Australia then...

What do you think of that!???    I guess something like:

27 Sept - 18 Oct -- India (3 weeks)
18 Oct - 1 Nov -- Australia (2 weeks)
1 Nov - 8th Nov -- Hawaii (1 week)

HpS - Wow!  Right at the beginning of the Vancover Rathyatra I saw the cart run right over the foot of a 75 year old India lady. She fell unconscious and went to the hospital!   Good luck!!

What do you think of this new calendar proposal?   It would be good for us also in a few other ways.

This is my regular ekadasi report. I'm trying to discipline myself a bit more. Writing to you every two weeks compels me to readjust things constantly.

HpS - ASA -- Publishing the Kapi Dhvaja every two weeks forces us to live a more regular life!!

Personally I do not have much to say. I regularly follow everything: 16 rounds, four principles and mangalartik. Some days I'm still a bit loose (I'm mandah, lazy). Chocolate ice cream and Netflix. But I do not stop doing my duties.

I have several students, classes practically every day, I continue to help in the temple, etc. I have even actively participated in a couple of FFL.

My basic concern is to implement education in the region more systematically. Today we have a meeting in Wilson several of the former NIMSAR to continue working on the subject of Bhakti sastri and Bhakti Vaibhava and the possible revival of NIMSAR. Is it possible?

I hope that when you come we will have things more clears and can help us to up-lift these programs.
I have a very good relationship with Mathuresh Prabhu and I hope to collaborate with him as much as I can on the subject of education along with other devotees.

The experience of Cuzco was very good and I will return in August to continue my service there. If Arequipa invites me, I can also help with the educational issues.

I also saw M. Goura Gadhadara and perceived that his [her] service was too strong [heavy]. In fact, a few days ago he had pneumonia. She had suffered from her lungs since she was very young. It [she] is going to take some time off. She will go to the Sacred Valley for a few days to recover. This tells me once again that the authorities of ISKCON have to watch over the welfare of the devotees. Their duty is to protect and give service, but often they only give service until the devotee collapses and goes home. Education for the Brahmanas, but also for all Ksatriyas and all.

Well, I hope to see you soon to receive your holy association and try to progress a little more in my spiritual life and my service.

We have to talk soon about your SA tour. I have a couple of suggestions and topics to develop here. Organize some initiations, education, etc.

ASA - Hare Krsna. LaD.  How is the Blue Baboon!!   Of course, we talked for one hour this morning on Skype about all this.   As we just wrote in the letter to Yugala-kishora Dasi if we are going to re-activate Nimsar in Peru then we would have to have a clear proposal with selection of President et al, and then aproval of the National Council or other local authorities.  This morning you mentioned developing the ISKCON educational ministry in Peru as another option.

We have to develop very careful program of Netflix or next lifetime we will be worms in vegetarian stool in India or wife of Indra or something, no!

Start writing stories! Lad-Flixs!

We will broadcast it on Start Meeting and you all can join.  Maybe one Session can be Education with ISKCON in the Western Hemisphere and you can even get a similtaneous translator for then.

En terminos de Nimsar, si quiere presentar Vds. como rama de ASA, necesitamos bastante organizacion antes de recibir aprobacion de Tio Gismo, Tom Brown y Buck White y el Comando Ejecutiva! Now I am reading the book “The Glories of Sri Navadvipa-dham : Sri Navadvipa dhama Mahatmya By Srila Sac-cid-ananda Bhaktivinoda Thakura presented by Bhanu Swami and Pundarika Vidyanidhi Dasa.

In the chapter – 5 : Shri Mayapur and Antardvipa; it is clearly mentioned that Vansivadana is none other than Krsna’s dear flute, by whose mercy the living entities become attracted to Krsna. They then develop great thirst, to attain the rasa dance.

Sri Jiva Gosvami asked Nityananda the meaning of Antardvipa. Nityainanda replied at the end of Dvapra yuga Brahma undertook austerities here with a desire to achieve Gouranga’s mercy. The present Navadvipa is the Vrndavan of Dvapara. Thinking this Brahma began meditation and performing austerities in Antardvipa.

Another point [from Brahma to Gaura?] having given up the illusion, that I want to take birth in Your association and sing Your glories. “ Hearing Brahma’s prayer, Lord Gauranga benedicted him saying, “So be it. When My pastimes become visible on earth, you will take birth in a yavana’s house. Your name will be Haridasa Thakura, and you will be famous for your humility and completely free from all pride. You will chant three hundred thousand names a day, and when you pass from this world you will be seeing Me. And at the end of the second one hundred tillion years of your life, you will attain Navadvipa and be absorlbed in eternal rasa”. I am continuing …..

HpS - ASA - Thank you so much!!! We have very nice picture, deities of Nitai and Nimai, from one devotee young lady in Mexico. She is a very, very great book distributor. She has gone out to distribute books even though she has been coughing up blood. Your letter lets us see them even better. We are in Mayapura here because they are here!

A team of 10-12 initiated bhaktas and matagis of our Mandir are planning to take part the full Navadvipa Parikrama (20 days before Gaura Purnima) next year. The programme will be Imphal to Kolkatta to and fro by flight and stay at Mayapur until the end of the parikrama. Guruji! Have You participated such parikrama in the past?

HpS - We went on the second one, many, many years ago with Lokanatha Swami. Mahavisnu Swami and others. Only about 175 devotees.

If not, we want to participate the parikrama with You next year instead of coming directly in Imphal because we have no time to serve Guruji and hear Guruji’s Amtavani (Advice). It is our simple suggestion please doesn’t take otherwise. We are waiting Guruji’s opinion.

HpS - Our humble obeisances to all Manipuri Bhaktas. We are trying to plan our Calendar now. They want us to come to India for Kartika, passing through Hawaii and Australia. Right now we can't see any clear plan beyond end of July. We listen very carefully to these suggestions and ideas and then try to see what plan we can make for best service to Krsna.

We will leave this body soon. It is old.

I hope you are in good health and that your Sankirtana develops favorably. It's been a while since I last wrote you.

ASA - You can say that again!    Six months????

Returning to the city has brought us many surprises, in the beginning it has not been easy, the change of pace, the association and the atmosphere are very different from what we had lived for the last two years. However, one must be a devotee in any circumstance and we are learning to regain balance in seemingly unfavorable conditions, in many cases.

The interesting thing is that by staying aloof from certain things I have been allowed to see them in another way and that has given me some assurance in my spiritual life.
 

I am part of a very favorable study group with Isvari mataji, Tarangaksi dd, bhaktin Rukmini, Nitya Kisori dd, Abhinanda prabhu, Indira Sakti, bhaktin Lourdes and bhakta Juan. We meet to study various topics, exchange affection and ideas and take prasadam. It's been four months now and the group gets narrower each time.
ASA - Sounds like the perfection of life. What does 'narrower' mean?  Fewer people or more focused or..?

Indira Sakti and I are improving in our performance as <s>husbands</s> [partners], we understand each other better, we understand our service better and try to help ourselves in that. We are also studying Bhakti-sastri on line with Laksmana-agraja prabhu. We are happy and finding what we were looking for: a space for discussion in the association of devotees. We look forward to seeing you and serving you soon, Gurudeva.

Thank U again and again for always looking for a way to enhance our service ¡¡¡ Being at FMP with U and all my Godbrothers and Sisters is really inspiring for me ¡¡

ASA - Us also....     It is essential part of our life now.

In this trail back to love myself more I was discovering many things, some confused me, and I kind of got lost.How to relate all my healing process with Krsna was really overwhelming for me. However yesterday I was listening to one of your classes and there U said that the source of my wealth, health, suffer everything is Krsna and even if I actually now day deeply in my heart... some coaches that I have heard said that I am the only responsible about the environment I create. They want that U became all powerful just by yourself, So I was kind of missing the focus. ¡¡

HpS - We need philosophy. Someone may get it from the bartender at his club, our the manicurist at her beauty parlour, but we need broad perspective on life. Then we can compare it to the philosophy of the BG, Lord Caitanya.

On the other hand, I had already help many people, specially ladies, who were like thinking that they need the approval of the rest in order to feel worthy, that they need to get married and have kids in order to be a "winner", our society is SO cruel, that if U as a lady do not have accomplished that by the age of 33 at least, you are just a looser, Ja Ja Ja, I told them that 9 of 10 married ladies that I know are not completely happy, because we have this concept about  happily ever after, but they do not tell us what happened after the wedding ¡¡¡ jaja.  But when I was giving them advice I did not mention anything about Krsna so as U said I felt like Vyasadeva ¡¡¡ Then I recalled what U have said and just said You can work in yourself U can try to focus in yourself but at the end you just have to leave everything to God ¡¡¡ He knows best ¡¡¡ and then I am starting to connect them to Krsna through Pantheism ¡¡¡ I do not know If that is correct??

HpS - ASA -- SB 2.1. Prabhupada says that it is a progressive step, but it won't have much effect unless there is a SERVICE ATTITUDE. We must want to have an ecological view of Pacha Mama not to exploit her better, but to serve her better.

I do not want that they feel that I am preaching to them or trying to convert them to my religion, nevertheless they now that I am a Hare Krsna and now about my principles.

HpS - That's fine. Some people WANT you to preach to them and convert them to your religion, so we can relate to them in that fashion. Others want to hear what your Old Granny used to say. How many different preaching strategies do we learn in SB??!!!

Years ago I had another goals, but now I do not what goals I have, I mean my  future goals, jaja. I wanted something in the past, but Krsna is telling me no candramukhi not now, or maybe He is telling me focus in what really matters?? I do not know I am kind of confused. My life is now calm, I have accomplished many things. I continue with this introspection trail, trying not to please the ego but the soul. My ego is so huge :(. I need to have the perfect job, clothes, house, job, etc. For instance, in this ECPE course.. pff.  I did not study anything since 5 years at least. It is really exhausting because this course starts 7 am and then I have to go to work... I sleep just 4  hours, so next month I won't take it .. the exam is on December and I can prepare by myself. plus the course is really expensive... I need to make balance in my life, sometimes I feel I have so many on my plate... I remembered one letter that U answer to me "You do not have to give your 100%. Sometimes 65% is ok" pff but my ego again :(

Nowadays, my rounds are not so good. I feel that things sometimes surpass me. I feel lonely sometimes. I have to put up with many things in order to support my family (economically), Super Girl eh ¡¡ haha¡¡¡¡ But I always take shelter in Krsna. And I try to accept whatever His plan is for me ¡¡¡ And always feel grateful for all the good things that I have in my life... 

I am pujari in wilson once a week and give BG classes once a month

HpS - ASA --- It is nice letter. It is in English, which helps a lot.

We all are struggling with our rounds. If we always put our 16-rounds first then we won't have to work so hard, we will have better friendships, more preaching and in the end Radha-Krsna will come and take us with Them to the picnic.

Krsna pays 1-sol for each good Maha-mantra.
