How are you?

HpS - I think we are very much like you and your family. We live in a very simple, old house. It will probably have to be rebuilt within 10-more years, but it is O.K. for now.

We are getting a bad head ache, 9.32PM, we are remember to chant HK/HR!

We really hope your whole family can follow four principles, chant 16-nice rounds, under the authority of Srila Prabhupada and be his initiated disciples.

We (family) are ok.

Health is ok. Last tests were ok. We are Still working on a better diet. Sadhana is OK. we have a simple sane routine (rounds, worship, reading). today we celebrate Janmastami with family at home.

We ARE back to normal classes. We will take another course for Teaching Maths in Waldorf Pedagogy.

This 7th report has been done, since Wednesday, September 25, but we did not send it because we wanted to do it together with the bio-safety protocol approved by a virologist, however, having this protocol is taking longer than expected, therefore, We are sending this report today August 31, 2021, day of the 108% Glorious and Auspicious Vyasa-puja of SRILA PRABHUPADA this makes us very happy,

But, we are also sad because today in the morning Prabhu Payonidhi left this world, he was diabetic and his body passed away from a heart attack.

Next, the 7th report:

Being less than a month for the arrival of H.H. Hanumatpresaka Swami, Abhiram Thakura das called for a virtual meeting with the coordinating team to define the place of His Holiness stay in Peru; in the meeting the following devotees participated: Palika dd, Caturatma d, Candra Mukhi dd, Mitravinda dd, Nitya-Kisori dd, Bhakta Luis Torino, Ramananda Ray (representative of SOLARIS-hispánico) and Abhiram Thakur das.

ASA - Victory comes from good advice, and good advice comes from many monkeys. 🐵 🐵🐵🐵🐵

Abhiram reported on the more than 10 proposals for stay, located in the provinces of Canta, Cañete, Huarochirí, Lima and Caraz. In the end, there were 2 final proposals:

1.   Santa Eulalia (on the periphery of the Lima region), and

2.   Caraz (a province of the Ancash region).

To take a decision, the pros and cons of each place were taken into account

HOUSE IN CARAZ

ADVANTAGES: it is a little bigger than the one in Santa Eulalia. It is a well-equipped house with all kinds of appliances, it has 10 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, ample kitchen, terrace. The monthly rent is $1,000 USD + services (bills).

We did not test the internet, but, Daru Krishna Prabhu who lives 10 minutes from the house said that he usually solve internet problems by having a good speed internet plan on his cell phone and using it as HubSpot for his computer.

DISADVANTAGES: It’s 9 hours from Lima, there is not direct flight to get there directly, it is not a proper rustic country house, it is more like a beach house in the country. An important disadvantage is that the total area that is rented is only 800m². That is the house, a patio, a garage and a garden, in this type of area it would be impossible to establish a quarantine zone outside the house, which is a key requirement to guarantee the bio-security of the place.

(The Santa Eulalia country house is over 4000 m²).

HOUSE IN SANTA EULALIA

ADVANTAGES: It’s only 2 hours from Lima and 30 minutes from Sri Sri Radha Madhana Bihari Temple. We tested the internet with Zoom to see how streaming works and it did well (the current package is 200Mbps but upgrade to 600Mbps package is possible).

The house is beautiful, it is a rustic country house made with good taste, the owner is a sculptor. The house has 4 rooms, separately there is a nice bungalow with 2 more rooms and an open area to a distance of 80 or 100 meters from the house where we plan to locate a large tent as a quarantine area, next to the tent there are 2 full bathrooms for the people who are in quarantine, (in total there are 9 bathrooms: 3 inside the house, 2 in the bungalow and 4 in the field). The area is over 4000 m². The owner of the house is a friend of Nitya-kisori (they studied the entire school together), the house is normally rented at $ 2,500 USD per month, but, since they are friends and explaining the purpose of the stay, she made a good discount and left the monthly rent to $1,500 USD (she said: “I am happy that they come because they are going to bless my house”).

Another favorable point is that we spoke with Prabhu Karuna Krishna, president of the Chosica temple. He consulted with the rest of the authorities and they all agreed to reserve an exclusive day a week for you and your guests to visit the temple. We are also coordinating for the Ramacandra Vijayotsava festival on Friday October 15 and Govardhana puja on Friday November 5.

DISADVANTAGES: The rainy season intense in the area is between February and March. Although last year was mild, it is not known with certainty how it will be this year, some predict “El Niño phenomenon”, but it is not known for sure. In any case, the house is located in a safe area because it is not a “huaicos” (landslides) area.

Also, we are aware of the proposal of being able to rent the Scout Club, but, as we understand, from the report to the Blog, of Anandamaya das, still do not know if they accept to rent for 6 months. In addition, we are going to develop a bio garden during the six months of stay, so the managers would have to authorize the modification of a 500 m² space for that purpose. On the other hand, the third wave of the pandemic in Peru is scheduled for the end of September, beginning of October, so if the contract is for 3 months, moving to another place before the end of the year is dangerous and inappropriate (in addition to the uncertain if we will find a suitable place).

Finally, after analyzing all possibilities, Santa Eulalia was unanimously chosen, by the entire coordinating team.

So, for the team, the choice has already been made, therefore, to conclude, we will say, as the priest says during a wedding, "speak now or be silent forever

HpS/ASA: Gandharva Das, Anandamaya Das et al efforts are wonderful. The Scout place seems to have many advantages, but it is so late, now, so consulting with the Supreme Undifferentiated Absolute Commando of ASA, and having already taken approval of Esquire Abhiseka Singh, President of NIOS, which is paying the expenses for renting this Cinematic Arts Studio. We approve renting space in Sta Eulalia for six months if lease is in the name of Alejandro Salazar and Caturatma Das (who has read the Contract and confirmed that it is standard lease, correct for our above described purposes).

We have heard that you have stayed under trees, in intial days of Sannyas, where you just took off, Kutica stage (staying outside temple).

ASA - Parivracacharya. Next stage. Giving up family cottage to wander from door to door.

It would be helpful if you can elaborate of your Sannyas stages (kutica, bahudak, etc ) along with physical/environmental changes.

Like when you were living under trees, how was the FMP, how was Prasad, preaching, what did Hanumanji/Nrsingh dev ate etc.

We are asking these questions, as we think eventually Horse will also like to live under trees some day , realize paramatma (may be), then may realize Hari Naam Prabhu in beads (may be next life time)

I know its difficult to understand sincere people like you. But ISKCON somehow means you , your world view etc for us, hence trying to know your past (SB 1.5/1.4)

Gurudeva, last week I invited Bhakti Sundara Goswami Maharaja to present, on Friday, September 3, at the Srimad Bhagavatam Workshop, from ASA, a summary of Chapter 18 of the First Canto.

Maharaja accepted, but since he is in Arizona, 7:30 a.m. in Tennessee, for him it is 5:30 a.m.

So, he would be in the middle of the morning program, so he suggested 2 possibilities: 1) that the class, that day, be at 9 a.m. (for him it would be 7 a.m.) or 2) he can teach the class the following Friday (September 10) as he returns to Mexico on the 6, and the time of Mexico and Tennessee coincide, in that case they do not there is a schedule problem.

If we do the 2nd option we would advance the English class for this Friday the 3rd, in that case Maharaja would present chapter 19 of the 1st Canto that day,

another, 3rd, option that Maharaja has just communicated to me is that on Friday the 3rd, of the class another devotee in Spanish and that he could teach the class when he be in Spanish (every 3 classes in Spanish, later, 1 is in English) please instruct me what would be the arrangement to communicate with Maharaja, Thank you very much.

I write as part of the ASA Carnaval team, We greatly appreciate your instruction and guidance. We are following up on the project that we present to you about the "Interviews about your Sankirtan"

- BACKGROUND For blog readers-

On July 30, 2021, the ASA Carnaval team had a virtual meeting with SS Hanumatpresaka Swami. At that meeting, the project was presented in detail on a series of interviews with devotees who have been part of the history of the preaching of the ASA in Peru. These interviews will document part of the history of the Peruvian Yatra and will serve as support for the film “DTC - The Ultimate Trip”.

-Agreements of the meeting:

* Conduct interviews one by one with those who are part of this story.

* Some interviewees may participate as a group.

* Dates and times - Adapt to the time that the interviewee suggests, according to their region and availability.

* The meetings will have a Devotee who will guide the interviewee according to previously elaborated questions, to obtain the desired objectives.

* H. H. Hanumatpresaka Swami, will participate in the interviews and exchange comments with the interviewee.

* Maharaja suggested End of August - Beginning of September for the first meetings.

HpS - The ninth is fine but it would be better like 4PM. 7PM is very late for these practical activities. English and Spanish we can use just as is practical for the people involved. You, ASA Carnival, should send us and the Daru, some topics for discussion and then we can edit and even share our screens.

Reading your replies shows such maturity in you, I am spellbound.

By your mercy and prayers, my sadhana is little better now. One wrong trap for me is I am wasting quite a time on social media... I know I need to reduce that.

Mostly I am staying in Darbhanga. I conduct a small program at my room on Sunday. 2-3 families are slowly taking to the process of Krishna Consciousness, while 1 new online batch has been started- your blessings are required so that it grows into a group of devotees. As informed earlier, a ISKCON center has come up here in Darbhanga being managed by some devotees. Now I am trying to look for some other place for developing preaching. Sometimes I feel a little weak due to lack of association. If things work out nicely then in 3-4 months I can expect to serve Lord in a small temple near Sitamarhi. Sitamarhi is said to be the place where Mother Sita was found from within the Earth by Maharaj Janak. There a few devotees are also expected to join us. Not getting much/ any practical support from my authorities sometimes disheartens me and causes fear- how long I would be able to flap before maya captures me?

Please keep me under your blessing and let me know if I could do any little service for you.

Even now it is 5.07PM and we have one hour to wash clothes, cut nails, shave face and head as per every two week standard and then we have Juhlana Yatra and second night of a Symposium on Nectar of Instruction given be Krsna through our mind (We hope).

Here is what I was thinking

Why not move into the Bhakti Vedanta Research Center (BRC) Ashrama in Kolkatta and work with them. Get a diploma in history etc. be representative for our NIOS there, coordinate with Dr. Samaresh.

NIOS can make donations to BRC to help with any expenses.

What do you think?

I think it is a terrible plan,

but I also think it might be good.

Anything in this world is terrible unless Krsna wants it.

You are carrying on in all difficulty, like so many other followers of Srila Prabhupada, ISKCON devotees.
