From 2023 until July of this year, I have been taking courses on the digital age while simultaneously producing “Stories of the Universe” with my own images created using artificial intelligence. Since I had been unemployed for 18 months, I decided to return to work at Huawei (a Chinese company). Now, I have less time available, and it is likely that I will complete my spiritual project by July 2025, in both English and Spanish.

Considering past experiences, I prefer that my project not be under any official branch of ISKCON but rather create my own program in service to ISKCON. The name I am proposing for my project is: “Spiritual Revolution.”

Currently, I am serving at ISKCON Miraflores and trying to adapt my spiritual life to the working world.

I humbly request your advice and blessings for the project I am undertaking.

The electricity died in our wing of the Castle yesterday and we had to decamp in the dark to another room.

Now we got into our old room and they are trying to fix the electrical failure and got the portable keyboard and are writing again.

We feel our activities may be contaminating people rather than helping them, but... by the mercy of Srila Prabhupada, maybe all of us can act like dancing dogs in his traveling circus and do useful things for the King 👑 of Vaikuntha!

Srila Prabhupada has made us all GBC Secretaries of our Bead Bags for a minimum of 16-rounds/day, no?

In one week now we are back in the USA.

We are quite conscious that at any moment war can come to our own neighborhood with global weapons in the hands of many unstable people.

Giriraj Swami’s condition is a sensitive and complex topic. Let's approach it with compassion and understanding:

1. Spiritual advancement and physical disease:

- Even spiritually advanced persons can be affected by physical diseases, including those affecting the brain.

- The body, including the brain, is material and subject to decay and disease.

the mind is subtle, can/does exist without the physical body,

- Dementia, including frontotemporal dementia, affects the brain's physical structure and function.

2. The soul vs. the mind:

- In Vedic philosophy, the mind is not the soul but an instrument of the soul.

- Diseases like dementia affect the mind and brain, not the soul itself.

- The soul's spiritual progress remains intact, even if its expression is hindered.

3. Challenges for the spiritually advanced person:

- May struggle to maintain previous levels of materially based spiritual practice

- Might exhibit behaviors inconsistent with their spiritual values

- Could be more vulnerable to exploitation or temptation due to impaired judgment

4. Community responsibility:

- It's crucial for the spiritual community to protect and support affected individuals

- Understanding the nature of the disease helps prevent misinterpretation of behaviors

- Maintaining respect for the person's spiritual journey and accomplishments is important

...but even if there is no community support KRSNA will personally come a protect him, his, her, its spiritual self, no?!!

5. Reputation and karma:

- Actions performed under the influence of such diseases may not accrue karma in the same way

- The community plays a role in preserving the person's reputation by educating others about the disease

6. Spiritual perspective:

- This situation can be seen as a test of the community's compassion and understanding

- It provides an opportunity to serve a great soul in their time of need

- Reminds us of the temporary nature of the material body and the importance of spiritual cultivation

7. Practical considerations:

- Ensuring proper medical care and support

- Creating a safe environment to prevent exploitation

- Continuing to involve the person in spiritual activities as appropriate

8. Lessons for devotees:

- The importance of building strong spiritual habits early in life

- Understanding that spiritual advancement doesn't always manifest in expected ways

- Developing compassion and non-judgmental attitudes

Remember, how we treat those affected by such conditions reflects on our own spiritual understanding and compassion. It's an opportunity to deepen our service attitude and broaden our understanding of the complex relationship between the soul, the mind, and the body."

Le informo que mi madre dejo el cuerpo en la ciudad de Lima, el día martes 22 de octubre del 2024 a las 6 y 45 pm, a la edad de 81 años. Mi madre tuvo muchas complicaciones de salud entre los meses de septiembre y parte de octubre. Las complicaciones en su salud fueron por la edad y una infección generalizada.

Fue unos de los momentos más importantes de mi vida, lleve la situación de su partida con serenidad, predicando, ayudando a mis familiares antes y después de la partida de mi madre.

Mi madre fue la persona más importante en mi vida, gracias a ella conocí los libros de Srila Prabhupada.

A mi madre la incineramos, le pusimos tulasi Kanti, hoja de Tulasi. Hice mucho Sankirtan, el mejor Sanskara. Ojalá Srimati Radharani pueda otorgarle el mejor de los destinos. Me acompaño Prabhu Radharaman (discípulo de SS. Prahladananda Swami) y la madre Narayani (discípula de SS. Bhakti Bhusana Swami).

Ahora ya estoy de regreso en Huancayo, por aquí está Prabhu Adveita Takura, estamos haciendo Sankirtan en las mañanas y tarde-noche.

Dear Hare Krishna Gurudeva, please accept my humble obeisances

All glories to Srila Prabhupada and to you!!

Respected Gurudeva, for your causless mercy, at the beginning of October I dreamed of you, you were contemplating a very special lake because it was a lake not of water but of golden light, or in any case of golden water. When I woke up I felt in a hurry to write to you, therefore I will start.

A few days before Janmastami, we spoke on the phone and I expressed my desire to see you and serve you in Spain and India. Your response was “You can also come to the United States and stay with us for a year” and “now you have to realize me in your heart”. Gurudeva, you know how to touch people’s hearts because Srila Prabhupada touched yours and taught you by his example. Therefore, far from saddening me, your response filled me with enthusiasm. I understood that my service should not be based on my desires, but on how and where you want me to serve you (go to the USA and be useful in your Sankirtan especially in NIOS). This is the theme of the Bhagavad Gita (4.34).

Regarding your words “you have to realize me in your heart”, after several days of reflecting on them and by the mercy of SADAI NIMAI NITAI, I was able to understand the following: To advance in spiritual life the disciple must establish an internal, deep and spiritual connection with his Spiritual Master. “Realizing the Guru in your heart” means that, beyond his physical presence, which is undoubtedly auspicious, we must internalize his teachings and feel his constant guidance in the heart. This is possible through sincerity and constant devotional practice. Then, on the same day of Janmastami, in Chosica, thinking of you in front of the altar of Sita, Rama, Laksman, Hanuman I could remember you dancing and singing for His pleasure, at that moment I better understood your main teaching that guides our service: 1) Who am I? 2) Who are we? 3) A plan to develop Sankirtan together and 4) The resources and paraphernalia we have to do it. Your fundamental teaching to properly do this is clear: Get up early and chant 16 good rounds.

Srila Prabhupada addressed this topic in a letter to his disciple Jadurani Dasi on September 4, 1972: “I am always with you through your faithful following of my instructions. Physically we may not be present, but that does not matter. If you follow me strictly, then I am with you always, at all times."

So, my humble conclusion of realizing you in my heart is that I must always be aware that the Guru-disciple relationship is not limited by time and space, the Guru-disciple relationship is eternal. The physical presence of the Guru is not the most important thing, but the obedience and sincerity in following his teachings, this is the essence of what it means to "realize the Guru in your heart." Is that right?

Thank you very much Gurudeva for giving me a useful and practical perspective on my humble service to you, after all, putting your spiritual desire and guidance above my individualistic desires is the best way to make spiritual advancement.

Manuel has sent you a report of the academic Sankirtan we will perform with Radhika Raman d, Lalita-gopi Dd, Govinda Pramodini Dd, Jagad-Guru, Gunavira and other devotees in October.
