You say that Brahman is indescribable by words. But if the Supreme Lord had not created the intelligence, mind and senses, then sound and the other objects of perception would all be just as indescribable as your Brahman. You would have been blind and deaf since birth, and would know nothing about physical forms and sounds, what to speak of the Absolute. So, just as the merciful Lord has given us all faculties of perception for experiencing and describing to others the sensations of sight, sound and so forth, in the same way He may give someone the receptive capacity to realize Brahman. He may, if He chooses, create some extraordinary way for words to function — apart from their ordinary references to material substances, qualities, categories and actions — that will enable them to express the Supreme Truth. He is, after all, the almighty Lord (prabhu), and He can easily make the indescribable describable.

We realised that, just like deity is made of woods, but my mercy of lord it's God.

Similarly holy name might sound mundane? But by the mercy of lord he can be sound incarnation. So only by his mercy name is transcendental ? Otherwise it's like the material Radhu kunda is just a sign board to spiritual Radha kunda?

HpS//ASA - That sounds pretty good! It always has special potency but depending on us etc. we get namabhasa, prema nama etc.

We manier [many?] times think. we are upanashidic/impersonal/tamasic and unfit for ISKCON personal form worship.

HpS - Us too. We probably have thoughts from our American/Hippy background that would make your hair stand on end, the blood run cold in your veins and your eyeballs bulge from their sockets... but we also have nice thoughts due to Srila Prabhupada and his ISKCON!!!

But applying SB 1.7.10 akam-sarva kama, we are getting pulled by Prabhupada books.

His books have no meaning for us without you.

HpS//ASA - 👶 🐵 🐷 🔬 We hope that we can give some meaning to them, but aren't there other devotees, in ISKCON who also give some meaning? Don't you get some just from your intellectual grace. Eg. Just read five pages from SB Canto One and see some result??

Next life time you might be Nimai's puppy, you may want us there, our consciousness needs to be elevated by the mercy of Guru-Gauranga, to be with you.

HpS - We have been together in Gaziabad, Graduate Students apartment in Mumbai, sleeping in library in ISKCON Kolkata, Delhi programs.... Think we are stuck with each other. Some maybe relevant fotos attached.

We also know that you have realised the importance of Chanting.

Alas! we have not, hence we started reading Books, long way but still eternal progress.

May be scriptures are referring to bodily effulgence of Visnu from whose naval Brahma ji appears.

asa - the sunlight in my room is coming through the window glass. some falls directly on my keyboard. the window glass is probably opaque to ultra violet.

some is striking the keyboard after being reflected off, re-generated from, the brown colored walls.

the screen is powered by electricity that comes from solar energy from hydroelectric dams.

so it is all echos, reflections of the sun.

if i face the holy names directly. face srila prabhupada's lotus feet directly and chant that is one realation to the holy names. if i read his books that is ... different ... relation to the holy names.

if i hit my finger with a hammer while pounding a nail and say, "God dammit" that is different relation, incarnation, of the holy name.

But I did not say, "sex" or "excrement".

Dear Gurudev, this is a small glorification to the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada and to you for following his instructions and inspiring me at every moment of my spiritual process.

Whenever I think of this moment, I am filled with emotion for what this day of Vyasapuja means, remembering my beginnings as a devotee and the instructions you have given me throughout these years.

Without the mercy of Srila Prabhupada and yours, this would not have been achieved. I have understood in these years that instructions are the most important thing to advance to Krishna.

Thank you very much for everything, dear Gurudev, for helping me advance every day and being an example for Krishna consciousness. May Srila Prabhupada be happy with my service.

Krsna went to Indra lok, to please his wife Satyabhama.

From Ramayana we learned that wife's demand (deer one) can lead to problem for both (husb and wife).

SP says in Krsna book, Krsna acted as henpecked husband.

In other places ,too much attachment to wife is condemned.

Your views please? what is the principal/ role in earthly sphere.

I know its kaliyuga it might not work, but whats the direction it should work

Should men accept being conquered by men in the Kali yuga?

I don't think Rama was hen pecked, but He wanted to satisfy Sita. Arjuna wanted to Satisfy Draupadi... This is described in 5th canto as an example for common people about what havoc too much material attachment for wife can happen for everyone.

Smart wife can understand this also and not let her husband become too attached to her.

In Kali Yuga, parasara says that women conquer men, unmarried girls become mothers and rogues conquer kings.

so we should expect this but.... by the mercy of Gauranga Nitia, Ninth Canto, we can live as if in the Satya yuga and see relations between men and woman on a superior level to that of Kali yuga.

Of course, we have to take shelter of Rama, Prabhupada, Hanuman.
