A major change has been made to the 10-year multi-entry visa to India, I learned the hard way.

Today I was planning to move permanently to Vrndavan, my friend Pancagoda Prabhu the TP of Vrndavan, we were flying together. He asked me what type of visa I have, I said the same one for the past 30 years. He said go check I believe changes were made

Before I/we could stay 6 months, do a border hop and return for 6 months. No more! Now we can stay 6 months but....have to stay out of the country 6 months. No more border hops

Needless to say I didn't go.

Now my desire is to return to the states and my desire is Tennessee. I hope Krishna makes that a reality

HpS/ASA - AgtSP! Paoho. Thank you! We know several devotees who are in this Vanaprastha situation. Can pay maybe $500/month for rent and only want a little studio apartment, or even part of a house, where they can stay with devotees and be apart of the community.

Houston Temple is like that.

You don't need a full house. You are just four minute walk from restaurant, temple, arati, kirtan, so many programs, other devotees houses, parks, gardens, so if any one knows of single Vanaprastha accommodations please let us know.

Our mind is becoming more unstable day by day. With intelligence we can keep it working, and even use it well, but we certainly cannot plan on making plans and organizing projects.

Will we move to Houston for the Winter and Spring??? Will we stay in Tennessee, Radha Natabara Yatra?

Where is our Sankirtan place?

Where is our purification?

I am improving current sankirtana and generally considering myself as part of ISKCON, although somehow it seems there are two ISKCONs (one ideal where we all assist Srila Prabhupad and one which is mixed)

1. The insititution. Always will have porblems. Always. The devas agains the asuras, yet each fight has eternal results
2. The community of friends, learning how to work as friends to satisfy our supreme friend i ISKCON
3. Srila Prabhuapada. We must experience his direct concern for our situation and his guidance in Lord Caitanya's movement.

Srinatha Krsna Das et al were visiting for our Cultivation of the Human Spirit (CHS) symposium last weekend. Wonderful.

He commented that if LOB (and NOI) would open like a chapter in the SB on VDB.IO it would seem to give so much more access for study and teaching.

That would mean instead of opening to the untitled verse numbers, it would open to the whole booklet with each verse and their purports arranged as they are in the individual chapters of SB.

Yes, it is must have for new vedabase.io version (actually this feature is already planned and in my todo list). Sri Isopanisad has same issue.

I made recently one project for Sri Vaisnavas (www.uveda.org) and already did same for them, it works nicely with new system. But vedabase.io is more complex (e.g. multilingual and smallest unit is paragraph), so takes little longer.

Yes, regarding Vedabase (online and/or offline) I need suggestions from all kinds of users for desired features, expectations, ideas, etc...

And actually I had idea make some kind of online meeting or forum/chat group to find suggestions about missing features or any desires which can improve both projects (online and upcoming offline reader).

HpS - Maybe advertise it like: Please send suggestions on challenges that you face with Vedabase.io and improvements that you like by September 15th.

Then collect them. Look at them and talk back?

I am somehow envious of Christians as they were able to make Accordance Bible software which is packed with interesting features for advanced researchers. If Krishna will want I would love to bring offline reader into same (or higher) level to make 'ultimate research tool' :)

Hare Krishna. Greetings from Oxapampa, Pasco (central jungle), Peru. It is, 387 km from Lima. We came by bus. It was almost 12 hours of travel.

It is a wonderful place for meditate... Here, we are keeping our sadhana (16R, 4.30 AM, 4P). Reading SB everyday.

Today is our last day here. We've been here for 7 days. We came to work the land, learn to sow and harvest in a proper way. My students are happy. They are more aware of the value of nature. 14-year-old children finish the second seven years of life. The guiding thread of Waldorf pedagogy is the conviction that the child learns and develops through two factors. On the one hand, there is the innate will to learn, typical of its essence; on the other, the stimulation of the human environment, which just gives shape to that will to learn. So, working the land helps to strengthen the will.

We will be in Lima tomorrow morning... We hope we can go to temple at night.
