With great humility we offer our obeisance at the lotus feet of His Divine Grace Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, Prabhupada, author of the book, KRSNA, The Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Srila Prabhupada, you have given us the Holy Names of the Panca-tattva, and Smt. Radharani, Krsna and Lord Balarama.

You have given us Dvaraka and Krsna's pastimes with Vasudeva and Devaki and all the Dvaraka-vasis.

You have given us the worship and friendship of Lord Nrsmha deva in thick-and-thin.

The list goes on without limit.

What have we given to you?

It seems mostly whole bunch of petty, greedy, selfish desires.

Oooof!

It is just amazing that we can look at your transcendental Murti and feel some presence of you there looking back at us.

You're concern for your disciples new and old is very personal. It is not just black or white. You are upset with their offenses and appreciative of their little efforts in so many detailed ways.

We feel like dogs.

Mostly we are just driven to serve in your Iskcon by the modes of material nature.

What could be more fun, freeing from fear etc than to belong to your ISKCON?

Yet, like a dog, when put into the mode of goodness by the arrangement of his master, he can sometimes actually make a little personal, conscious effort to do some real causeless service.

Thank you, again and again.

Thanks to all your disciples and well wishers.

By your divine grace we will continue to try to do something for your Sankirtan efforts to illuminate Radha Krsna and transcendental world, and hope to be a part of your Sankirtan party life after life.

First of all, sorry for the delay... My computer stopped working, so I had to get a new one.

I had my appointment last Tuesday and my doctor told me I doing well but I have to be aware.

My family is doing ok. My sister is working as an English teacher 3 times a week and as a dentist on weekends. My brother is planning to change job and move to Spain with all his family.

TB - Does sister work in a clinic or at home?

HpS - Is it an open ended service or fixed for a certain time, and then everyone stops and looks at the situation?

Ptrk - They asked me for a fixed service, but I asked them 3 years only and then we can evaluate.

I apologize for taking so long to share the video I made for my grandmother, Gauri dd. About 6 or 7 years ago she asked me to put her photos together chronologically and add music to them. She chose the songs by herself according to her stage of life.

In order to have a better understanding of the video, I will provide a brief explanation:

TITLE: "LO QUE EL VIENTO SE LLEVÓ" (GONE WITH THE WIND)

The names of 2 videos "Rukmini's Lost Years" and "Life is Beautiful" are shown at the beginning of the video.

Both were my previous and first video edits.

Then, it is pointed out that this film is based on the life of Gumercinda Miranda (my grandmother's civil name).

Next, a list of the most essential characters appears.

And now, the biography of my grandmother starts:

BIOGRAPHY OF GUMERCINDA (GAURI DEVI DASI)

She was born on January 13, 1949 in Ayavirí, a small town in the province of Yauyos (East of Lima).

HpS - Hey, HHR was born January 12, 1948!

During her adolescence she moved to Huancayo (city in the center of Peru) where she studied in one of the best schools in the area.

She was a very applied student. After finishing school, she met Eurlando Chamilco with whom she married and had 3 children. The youngest is my mother Tarangaksi dd (Tania Chamilco). In 1994, Eurlando, in his quest to learn more about yoga and meditation, met ISKCON devotees. He was a key piece for Gumercinda and Tania to also join Krishna Consciousness.

Gumercinda's parents even chanted the Maha Mantra Hare Krishna. The whole family used to organize Namahattas at home and many devotees and friends attended.

However, in 1996 came a great test for Gumercinda. She had to face the separation of her husband and the consequences that it brought to her family. In order to heal herself, she decided to visit her hometown and then travel to Argentina. She settled in Buenos Aires, in the province of San Martín. For almost 2 years she was working as a caregiver for an elderly lady. On one occasion, on Andonaegui street, she met ISKCON devotees again. She used to visit the temple and attend the programs. In 1999, she decided to return to Peru, since Rukmini was about to be born.

HpS - It is very important that ISKCON has centers all over the world. People make advancement by contacting different centers during their spiritual career. We should see our centers as part of this international web. We give help to people but we may not see the fruit, yet we get people who have made progress in another center.

During the following years, she used to attend Chosica, Shell and Wilson temples, and she performed different services like cooking, arranging vases for altars, making garlands, cleaning, sankirtan, etc.

She was also active in Bhakri Vriksha and Namahatta programs. Due to her intense service to Sri Sri Gaura Nitay and Sri Sri Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra, as well as the mercy of H. H. Hanumatpresaka Swami, she formally received Diksha on February 4, 2015, becoming Gauri Devi Dasi. Everyone remembers her for her enthusiasm, sense of humor, charisma, generosity, among other beautiful qualities.

Thank you for your response. I believe the best course of action is to handle my own image production to avoid issues with ISKCON. Nowadays, artificial intelligence allows for swift execution of this task.

HpS - ISKCON is the institution, friends and our direct experience of Srila Prabhupada.

Always try to help the institution and remember that in Kali -yuga there are no perfect institutions, but they are a great help as we can keep them running!

At the moment, I am undertaking this service on my own, as there are no devotees with the same availability of time or the required skills for this service.

HpS - Hope you find some Sankirtan partners!

Joining NIOS could be a good option. Can I continue discussing this with Prabhu Abhiram? In the meantime, I will continue progressing with my production and will keep you informed.

As per your instruction, I would like to share the link to an interesting movie. 'God on Trial', the plot of the movie is based on a true story during the Holocaust.

It depicts the need to understand why we suffer.

The theology of suffering of a group of Jewish people who, the night before their already announced death (Gas chambers), full of fear and despair, questioned and debated God's promises of protection.

It is an attempt to rationalize and understand the suffering and the imminent death that is imposed on them (like we all are in some way).

How to reconcile their faith in God's loving plan and the excruciating pain and suffering that they are exposed to.

In my humble understanding, it is an invitation to question our beliefs, and go deeper in our relationship with God.

Gurudeva, remembering what we talked with you and Jagad Guru prabhu here in Perú (Santa Eulalia) about FMS..

I've been asking if some devotees that regularly participate in the program wanted to lead the kirtan. Some of them are interested in doing it.

That being said, there could be three devotees (instead of two) per week day, rotating during the month.

We could then have a renewed list of leaders, so there's more diversity and giving the opportunity to others, without excluding devotees that had been already participating a long time ago.

HpS - AgtSP! Thank you! Again, we are slow in responding to the Blog. Radha ramana Swami visiting. So, nice. DTC deadlines. Reduced capacity to write on screen with our aged donkey.

Today we went to the optomatrist for annual check-up and he dialated our eyes, and they are still distorted after seven hours.

The rotation sounds great, but they should be devotees who are keeping a regular Brahma muhurta program, joining our program regularly and can pronounce the Gurvastaka with meaning.

O.K.?
