Reverencias y gloriasa Srila Prabhupada!.

Here in ISKCON Santiago Chile🇨🇱 We have gone from Carona lockdown to Maha Carona lockdown.

Vasudeva Datta Prabhu was not feeling well so he went to the hospital. There he caught Carona and brought her back to the Temple. Bhakta Sebastian did not have a good reaction with Carona and now he and Vasudeva Datta Prabhu are in the hospital.

The medicos cuarentenada the temple and we cannot leave for anything. Before this development the temple was functioning on some level with morning programs a bakery and book distribution on line.

Your discipulo Piyari Mohan Prabhu is shining throughout the crisis. Piyari Mohan attends the full morning program and with the absence of Vasudeva Datta Prabhu, has been responsible for everything.

It reminds me of the old days when all the devotees were in their early twenties. The American army sends lieutenants straight out of officers training school, to become platoon leaders in a war zone. This forces them to grow up quickly.

We are taking the situation one day at a time with nothing sure in the future. Our little group of 4 men and 2 ladies do lots of Hare Krishna Kirtan and prayers.

Just as you requested me....I am going to read Srimad Bhagavatam at GoToMeeting next Tuesday.

I would like to know....what do you want me to read? Do you prefer that I read a chapter as Guru Govinda mataji did? or to read one verse in particular? from which canto, chapter?

You have mentioned that Tuesday is "lady's day" to read Srimad Bhagavatam. How would you like matajis to organize ourselves in order to do it? How can we develop this?

I might talk to some matajis to organize ourselves: Sugopi Radha dd, Guru Govinda dasi, Yugala Kishora dasi, Srutipriya dd, etc.

Also I was thinking to ask Srutipriya dd to translate, so that SB reading can be bilingual.

We went through all our Yahoo boxes, even the Spammmy Folder and there was no letter! Was it about an official Bh. Sastri Examiner for Peru? I talked with Karuna-krsna Das for 1/2-hour day before yesterday about that an many things.

We were thinking Yugala-kishora Dasi might be a good candidate, if she wants it!

She is 1st class scholar, so steady in her Sastric studies work etc. Maybe she could even try it for some time and see if she can do the job. A lot of paper work.

Sometimes she is very strict with herself and others, so that is more good for a Green (or Pink) Beret leader, but the Examiner doesn't have to spend so much time with all kinds of people.

Mi hija Govinda ya esta por cumplir 3 años,

. . . es una nena muy saludable y me hace feliz dedicarle mi tiempo. Lilananda, su papá vive a 400 km de nosotras, suele viajar cada dos o tres meses a verla. Prácticamente la crío yo sola, repartiendo mi tiempo con ella y el trabajo. Le gusta ver las ilustraciones de luz del bhāgavata y pide que se lo lea. También hablamos de pasatiempos de Krsna book.

Mi sadhana ha mejorado mucho. Me conecto por las mañanas a cantar mis rondas y luego me quedo a la clase de SB que Madhu Mangala das brinda por zoom (hay que aprovechar los tiempos de cuarentena y aislamiento).

Últimamente me sentía mal con mi vida espiritual, no estaba encontrando entusiasmo ni alegría, y eso me apenaba mucho guru maharaja. Sentía que estaba fallando como devota, como discípula.

HPS - No hay opcion. Bien o mal, tenemos que continuar como podemos, y paso por paso va a ser un resultado.

Hace un tiempo vengo siguiendo la prédica de Krsna west en buenos aires. Y me sume a los encuentros y programas (siempre por zoom) y de repente me vi tomando un rol activo, siendo parte de la prédica. Estoy muy feliz con ese servicio, y quiero pedirle sus bendiciones para poder seguir haciéndolo. Tenemos un grupo de gente nueva, unas 20 personas que se acercaron a conciencia de krishna y están cantando sus rondas con nosotros y asistiendo a clase de SB y de BG.

Me siento útil, siento que estoy siendo un instrumento en este camino, que mi vida espiritual está encontrando sentido.

Junto con otros devotos vamos a cursar bhakti sastri con Parampadam das y también tomar cursos de liderazgo con él, para poder mejorar y profundizar la prédica.

Mi mayor deseo es poder servirlo gurudeva, y quiero poder llevar conciencia de krishna a cada rincón, incluso en época de covid y aislamiento.

Nada puedo lograr sin sus bendiciones ni instrucciones gurudeva.
