Sankhya and a New Direction for Modern Science
Before the time of Sir Isaac Newton there was a battle between the Alchemists and the Mechanical Philosophers over whose discipline would be the King of the Sciences. The Mechanical Philosophers won, so Physics has become the normative science in the West. However, it also includes a Cosmology, Ontology and generates specific moral standards. For example, is abortion healthy or unhealthy?

There is an ongoing debate in Oxford between the leading scientists and theologians, and among others in the world, that peace, prosperity and fraternity in the world can only come when we improve our scientific view of life.

The speaker has had success in presenting the Sankhya of Kapila deva from the 3^rd Canto of the esteemed Srimad Bhagavata Purana as an excellent way for science to go ahead. He will incidentally clarify the distinction between the Bhagavata Sankhya of Sri Caitanya’s tradition and the Sankhya of Isvara Krsna Das.

In the majority he will give a probably novel and detailed explanation of this Bhagavata Sankhya with correspondence to accepted Western scholars such as Carl G. Jung and E. T. Hall. Of course the question should arise, what is the position of Music, Dance and Drama as sciences within this context.

                                                 hace unos dias regresè de un Sankirtam viajero!! en la ciudad de Veracruz, por su misericordia pude distribuir: 350 libros chicos y 3 BG , fue una semana intensa, el clima bastante agresivo, con vientos huracanados y lluvia en las tardes, me prestaron un departamento completamente vacio, a las afueras de la ciudad, me llevaba casi dos horas trasladarme al centro de la ciudad...pero, muy feliz!! cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de sumergirme en el Yajña de la distribuciòn de libros,olvido las incomodidades, la felicidad es muy grande con cada persona que se lleva un libro y lo aprecia, un Señor se llevó el BG y lo puso en su pecho y asi se fue abrazandolo!!!....antes de mi regreso a la Ciudad de Mexico pase por la ciudad de Puebla para visitar a Mataji Catamay  y tuve la oportunidad de Servir a su adolescente hijo Arjuna a presentar una exposicion en su escuela sobre la filosofia Vedica y el vegetarianismo, se distribuyò Prasadam entre sus compañeros, y obtuvo 10 de calificaciòn, La misericordia de Krsna es muy grande!!! .....actualmente, por cuestiones de salud no puedo salir con los Libros, y estoy viendo otras formas de colecta, Krsna siempre està presente ayudandome a cubrir  las necesidades de mi Padre, todavia no he podido pagar la Deuda al BBT, espero en estos proximos meses hacerlo!!! en la casa que estoy viviendo hay una Tulasi grande y hermosa, cada dìa misericordiosamente nos dà la oportunidad de recibir su Darsham y poder cantarle los Santos Nombres!!......Querido Gurudev, siempre estoy en Separaciòn de Ud. ya es mucho tiempo que no lo veo, y la verdad, Octubre que es el mes en que ud. nos va a dar su bendita asociaciòn se me hace muy lejano <img alt="" src="http://hps-d6.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/02.gif" title="" /><img alt="" src="http://hps-d6.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/17.gif" title="" />

               HpS - ASA      Tlgasp///  salimos para el aeripuetto.   no hay luz para escribir bueno!  Mooooo  Cha Cha Chas gracias sus super noticias.  Claro, mas que puede encontrar nuevo modos de Sankirtana sin tan mucho presion en su cuerpo es bueno.   Ya  una semana en Kolakatta y despuess espana y beligica y EEUU     entoncer esper comunicare mas mas mas con VDS.           SUper gracias sus noticias.                 Va  ser todo la gente a quien esta pasando libros para recibir Vd. cuando regresa a Vrndavana!!

I'm Devarsi from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

           HpS - ASA  -  Jaya!!!!!!!    AGTSP.....    So, nice to hear from you!!!

I was absent from the blog, several months ago.
The last time I talked to was in chile units last year.
I'm on the night shift manager at the restaurant of the temple"Naturaleza Divina".
It is going well, many people take prasadam daily and is interested in Krishna consciousnessand invite them to the partySunday. But go out very late and is difficult for me
  I know it's not a good time to have a more orderly practice my sadhana, because I cannot get up early for sleeping so late.
Just talk about this difficulty and allow me to work in the morning again and I'll be able to organize myself better about it. Krishna always makes the arrangements.
We are composing and producing music for Krishna with some devotees. The idea is to produce an album of bhajans with some devotees of the congregation. We need your blessings.

          ASA - It's interesting.  The first restaurant was in Philedelphia and the manager said that it was closing at like 9PM and then it took an hour for the devotees to wash everything and so they did not get to bed before 10.30PM and so they could not come to Mangala arati, but Prabhupada said that, "No, they must come to Mangala arati. Then they can take a nap later in the day!"  He also said there should be a book display and gave a recipe for roasted grains that would taste and act like coffee.

As we realize that Krishna is pleased with us?

        HpS - Don't understand?

In our service sometimes there are difficulties,we must take it as mercy or as a proof of God?

        HpS - Sometimes it is mercy and we take it as difficulty by mistake. Other times it is test of our sincerity and other times it is the demons trying to stop us....

hope you are all well. we are sorry for posting querries to you and not giving you any sankirtan news  as compared other blog participants>
we goto householder sanga, and here again we find our selves different from others in respect to content and qunatity of reading we have done.. it is all due to your grace.

we dont find any one else except you,who can answer our question our even understand it, esp when they are so deep in psychology. we just read chap 9 of canto 2, citing lord version. and verse 1 itself we got little inquistive and hence distiurbed (as householder with no job now, we should contemplate on making money, not understanding intricay of philosophy).

what made us inquisitve was- statement that we are dreaming.--- then we startde thinking then why there are rules of vaidhi bhakti tobe followed in dream. how can we come to reality just by using our free will in dream...
maharaj its a very existential dirven question. u may not make it public as it may harm some people.

regarding manipur. indian school of mgmt says our mgmt style will depend on modes we are in. so your grace relegated the Manipur university project to super soul, may be that was right according to Mode of good ness and Brahmana standards.
With a passionate standards likes us where we think we are the doer, we think it should be pushed to some degree, may be your calls from outside India can not connect to devotees there. So if you us to call on your behalf, u can give us the numbers and name of person to be contacted. may be u can forward us the email. that is all up to your discretion, as your are near to supersoul.
hope one day we can pass on what you would teach us in different courses and conersations we do other people,and hope that could be our sankirtan.
waiting to hope get orders from you when you arrive in India again.

          HpS - Jaya!   AGTSP   We have been thinking about you all for last two days.  Now is Saturday, Rama-navami.  We are in Perth.  We will be here tonight then Sunday, Monday and then Tuesday night in the airplane.  Zooooom!          We arrive Kolkatta at 00.45 in the morning and I told the CCU temple devotees to wait until later to get us. We can chant Japa in the nice airport.  

What about the Claro Modem?     Can you activate it for the week?    We will put in our Indian cell phone chip as soon as we get to CCU.     We are looking forward to talk with you!!

In the dream we show Krsna that we are learning how to deal with real situations.  Then as we get better the dream becomes lighter and lighter and then we are fully in the real show! 

We can talk about Manipur also.   We will put some news in the DTC about our e-mail and Japa Joe etc.

   As you probably know, here in La Paz- Bolivia we have 8 students who practicaly finished the BS studies. Most of them are ready to have the final examination. I'm preparing the final test according your guides from your instructions(TPP, Final evaluation). So please, is important your benedicction to go ahead. Some of them will need more preparation, and probably will take the course again, but others are really ready to recieve the Bhakti Sastri  Degree. I hope will be possible for them to receive the  diploma from your hands in your next visit to this country.

   We are really expecting your mercy to continuos serving Krishna.

HpS -  ................  SO nice to talk with you.  We met your good son some where recently!!!!  Where was that!            You are not certified center, no?  Only LIma.  SO you have to co-ordinate with Patraka Das, Candra mukhi...  Ultimately Mother Rohini Devi Dasi as the administrator for the ISKCON Board of Examiners.  Of course the real test is at the time of death.  We are working our our South American calendar right now.  But actually we are with you as soon as we read these letters and can answer!!

                  HpS - ASA -   Jaya!  TlgaSP.  Su carta es tan esoterico que casi solamente Krsna puede entender lo.   Pero podemos entender que esta abajo mucho pasion por su Karma.  O.K.   Necesita buscar un buen maestro.  Trata de trabajar en un proyecto bueno con un buen lieder.   Claro es Kali yuga y no esperamos perfection de nadie, pero podemos tomar refugio de Krsna como perfecto y toma un lieder del proyecto como 85% perfecto como arregla perfecto de Krsna y cumplir la otro 15% por gracias de Krsna, por cantar Hare Krsna.         Si, levanta temprano, y cumlir con sus rondas .... Va a virir en Vaikuntha, no el mundo material.  Es vd.  un gran heroe.  Nos apreciamos mucho!
