Hare Krsna ! !!

We have not heard from you so we wonder if you have received our previous letters or your health is very restrictive? ?  We hope you have all facility for doing your teaching.

Here we still are in Tennessee - health, energy, is a better. We are following more sane regime.

BHARATIYA-SANSKRITI

We have read 37-pages of the Bharatiya-sanskriti and found a few small and grand errors. We are enjoying reading it.

SANSKRIT KITS

Ramgiridhari Das from Goloka Education (GE), Mumbai said that he has sent one copy of this Sanskrit learning kit to Nil-kamal. He showed me the shipping bill.

Have you received it?

What is your opinion of it?

Can you give a review for publication?

Can we use it to create a revolution in global Sanskrit learning?

On Thursday we wired $10,000 to GE for our second purchase of the kits. The first purchase was 20-sets and this purchase is ~150-sets. Marketing prices, warehousing, shipping and even first marketing work has been done.

It seems that this should be a major avenue for NIOS to develop.

CALENDAR

Let us confirm that we will buy a ticket from Delhi to Kolkatta on Saturday the 9th to arrive early in the morning. I guess we can camp at the ISKCON Kolkatta center and then we will be at your service until the following Saturday, 15th-February.

FELICITATIONS VOLUME

We have in our head to look at the Journals to which we sent the esteemed Felicitations Volume to see when they have reviewed it. Harsh has sent a report of their work which we confess we have been too weak to read yet,  but we are definitely moving forward.

GENERAL

We continue in the Ministry of Education for ISKCON, which is going through great improvements. NIOS has been asked to function as an adviser in this development.

We also continue writing our dialog between Professor C. G. Jung and the Bhagavata. We have read the first section of an excellent paper on 'Social Darwinism and the Roots of the NAZI Nation'. Darwinian philosophy is very rooted in even the most introspective modern Western philosophers such as Jung and the Bhagavata gives an excellent perspective on the ideas.

We will try to call at 9.30PM Monday evening, to take much needed advantage of your merciful association. Today, Sunday, we are joining a 4-hour Kirtan from 9.30AM - 1.30PM CCU hour.

We are doing our main communication through our regular ASA bulletin, 'Kapi-Dhvaja', and a Blog that our good disciple Prahlada-nrsmha Das set-up for us.

Dear Gurumaharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I wish to report bookscores from last month. I went to the closest town some afternoons, and distributed 9 big, 10 med, 7 small and 1 dvd. No gita's, but had good meetings and inspired several people without them taking a book. It was a while ago since i went out, and it was great! Very enlivening and cleansing. I desire to go more often, perhaps in small groups with stationary harinam, and bookdistributors and prasadam. Nice idea, but so far i haven't been able to execute much of my sankirtan ideas. Perhaps when spring arrives this one can actualize.

Other than that, listening very inspiring and helpful classes from Vrindavan dham on the chapters of king Puranjana / Pracinabarhi. Practically they are my siksa shelter. Started working fulltime yesterday. My schedule is irregular, from very early till very late, but the work has its advantages. I feel enthusiastic about it.

Please forgive me for my kanistha shortcomings. All good fortune in your busy-ness.

Mis actividades en el Templo siguen como de costumbre llego normalmente al Guru Puja y realizo diferentes servicios y estoy viviendo fuera. Los Hariboogies no estamos

encontrando locales para hacer conciertos, pero escribi a SS Indradiumna Swami y no pude comunicarme con el para asistir a sus festivales.

He sacado un billete para la India y estare 3 meses con Isvara Prabhu en su casa de Mayapur en febrero.

Thanks for the references on SB, I'm studying it and clarifying our understanding of maya, such perfect reference !  thank you !  

We are distributing books as our service, every day in the afternoons, in metros and the street it is so blissful hold Srila Prabhupada's books and distribute them to people and or also just reach out and exchange a few words on bhakti yoga etc  We struggle so much with it but finally by the mercy of devotees and Prabhupada we are totally hoked up to it.  

We got  Waves of Devotion by Niranjana Swami, thinking it was the one you told us about but just realized the right one is by Dhanurdhara Swami !    didn't know there were two from different authors.   Any way this one by Niranjana Swami is also pretty intense, sort of a collection of lectures, it's  a journal, found a nice lecture on the bhakti-rasayana verses from Brihad Bhagavatamrta, and other intense lectures.  We will try to get the one by Dhanurdhara Swami also !  we read the intro and really like it much much...

sravanam-kirtan , sravanam higher principles !

Hare krsna guru maharaj, porfavor reciba mis más sinceras y respetuosas reverencias. Estamos en Chosica, haciendo mangala artik con las deidades de casa, bañando a las silas y a las deidades, haciendo algunas ropas, leyendo el caytania caritamrta con P. gadai, 16 rondas, cocinando y un poco de sankirtana, hubo un harinama con el grupo "harinama Ruci", hubo muchos devotos haciendo sankirtana entre ellos el grupo que viajó a bolivia, nos inspiraron y dieron muchas ideas de como hacer sankirtana, estamos aprendiendo a tocar mrdanga.

hace una semana estuvimos en  la ciudad de huancayo durante 3 dias, distribuimos unos 200 libros aproxidamente, y ahora estamos haciendo planes para poder viajar previa a la marathon que empezará el 18 de noviembre en perú. También la marathon de bolivia fue muy extático distribuimos alrededor de 4000 libros, aprendí muchísimo de los devotos.

. . . hay un pasatiempo que va relacionado con lo que Ud. una vez me dijo que ahora no es la era del conocimiento y estoy comprendiendo que yo solamente debo tratar de que las personas se lleven libros ya sean para sus amigos, familiares, etc.

Un dia en huancayo cuando estuvimos haciendo sankirtana con P. gadai gauranga, paré un señor y le dije llévese un libro, elija el que más le guste y dá un donación y el señor me respondió si claro yo quiero estos libros yo promuevo y traigo doctores cubanos especilistas en medicina natural dame todo y  mientras hablaba con él de pronto otro señor pasó y lo paré y le dí los libros para ti pero dudó pero el señor que ya tenia los libros; el LOB, LA VIDA PROVIENE DE LA VIDA, KARMA MEDITACIÓN empezó a convencerlo al otro señor de que se lleve un libro, que eran muy buenos que existe las energías y sobre todo empezó hablarle del karma uffffff yo quedé atónita lo convencio y se llevó  3 libros; LOB, LAVIDA PROVIENE DE LA VIDA Y EL KARMA. Guru maharaj, usted siempre está haciendome ver que yo no doy ningún conocimiento que Prabhupada es el que predica yo solo intento servir a los demás y ser un instrumento.

             HpS - ASA - - AGTSP!   (paoho).  They were just there for one afternoon. Happened before, but still got the rash and bumps from the (?)spider bites. Always something, no? Chance to get as attached to the Lord in the Heart as we are to the Lord in the skin.

Gurudeva just a few lines to inform U that it is confirmed this November 23rd it is going to be a Ratha Yatra in Chosica ¡¡¡

Without your blessings we can not do anything so the commission of Ratha Yatra humbly approaches U and ask for ur blessings ¡¡¡

Also please can U write or tell us where we can find some enlighting words from SP and Jayananda prabhu regarding the Ratha Yatra festival ??

           HpS/ASA - AGTSP.....   Jaya Jagannatha Swami!  We just penciled the date onto our calendar. Just 16-days from today. That means you will have Snana-yatra this weekend? If you look on the Youtube.com, "Rathyatra Prabhupada", there are some lecturers. Also, Prabhupadavani.org, "Addresses", may have some lectures, but we didn't see any. However, CC 2.12-13 have so much information, icons, that there really doesn't seem to be much more needed.
I can tell you some experiences that we had with Jayananda Das and Rathyatra. One general comment of Jayananda was that Rathayatra was a very special festival, that Lord Jagannatha was very merciful and He comes out of the temple and gives almost everybody and chance to love Him, do something for Him. So, expect that a lot of people can be involved in many ways.

Rathayatra is the emotional return of Krsna Dvaraka to Vrndavana, from Para-bhakti under rules and regulations to Para-bhakti in the spontaneous mood of Vrndavana. It is revealed to us by Lord Caitanya and Srila Prabhupada, who is one of the Gaura-bhakta-vrnda. That's all we know.
We sure hope you get letters from Jayapatapataka Swami and others also!
