Estamos aquí en el templo de ISKCON Chile junto a 8 devotos, 5 cuerpos de hombres y 3 de mujeres. Ha estado intenso algunos días, el no poder salir estresa y genera fricción entre nosotros. Nos visita un hermano espiritual suyo, su nombre es Misra Bhagavan das.

HpS - Somos asociados desde 1979 o mas.

El sadhana es regular, tal como si estuvieran las deidades, ellas ahora están en la casa del pujari del templo, por el momento solo tenemos pinturas y la murti de Srila Prabhupada.

Estamos transmitiendo las clases en vivo por nuestra página de Facebook, ha tenido muy buena acogida.

Comenzaremos un programa de maha ronda desde mañana a las 7.00 am, en conexión con el proyecto de algunos devotos de latinoamérica como mi hermano Ananda Maya das de Perú, en el cual invitamos a que las personas centren su atención en Dios, independiente de su religión si es que no quieren cantar el maha mantra, para que el coronavirus pare de expandirse. De corona a Karuna, para acercar a las personas a la espiritualidad.

Gracias Gurudeva por sus clases y programas, usted tiene un reloj de Bhakti, su despertador es el amor por Dios. Yo tengo un celular, que a veces ni escucho. A pesar de que me cueste, hago el esfuerzo siguiendo su instrucción de levantarnos temprano y cantar nuestras rondas entusiastamente.

Ahora me doy cuenta que estoy muy lejos de llevar a cabo sus instrucciones de una manera ideal, tengo una naturaleza muy dispersa, siempre me involucro en muchas cosas, mucha pasión. Quiero centrarme en un solo deseo, servirle a usted por la eternidad.

Dear Gurumaharaja, the family is well, B. Ayda has been, appointed as a Teacher for the Institutions of Initial Education of the Government, she is very happy, she is a little far away, but only for a few years, then they will transfer her to another Institution closer.

Nilacandra will be 10 years old, I changed her to an Adventist School, it is closer to the house where we live, very good that school.

HPS - Yes, usually Adventists are good schools for devotees.

Vrisabhanu Nandanu is going to turn 8 and move on to second grade, she is in a school near my wife's Job, it is only for women. Well now they are home for quarantine, they do their homework and then they play, they gave them a puppy and we named it Harinama. We are all locked up at home, my father is with us, a good person, he has retired, he is in good health. Once he told me that before getting married he went to the Temple in Cusco, when he was close to his house, it was only once, he did not attract much attention. He does not go to the Temple, but he is very respectful, I always take him Maha from Sri Sri Goura Nitay, he loves sweets.

We enroll in the Pada Padma course taught by LAD, we have to do our rehearsals, we learn many new things as a group.

Thank you very much for all that Dear Gurudeva, everything you do for all of us is wonderful and we would be very stupid if we did not take advantage of it. Sometimes when I read your Notepad, I can sadly see comments about the fidelity of the Spiritual Master, personally I would like to comment something, many times when I sing rounds or I am going to give the class, I think about YOU, I can feel it close, and it is easier for me to do my service, Paramatma, the connection, sometimes we forget about practical things and start looking for other things that lead us astray, everything is in the sadana, in the study of the sastras, in the singing of the rounds, then everything else it becomes easy, and without fear of being wrong, it is the evidence that exists between Guru and his disciple, we should all know it since we daily repeat Sri Guru-Vandana.

I know that I have wasted a lot of time on mental things, all because of my immaturity, but now I am much more than convinced that what should be done. It is part of the process, but it only depends on you if you stay or if you advance, I am still in nothing but I know that by your mercy we can do the right things, Dear Gurudeva.

Un gusto saludarlo y espero que usted se encuentre bien en este momento.

Nuevamente me presento, soy bhakta Damián de Traslasierra, Córdoba, Argentina.

Quiero compartirle que tuve una muy linda maratón de Sankirtan aquí en donde vivo y también distribuyendo los libros de Prabhupada en la ciudad de Rosario.

Pude distribuir 264 libros chicos y 10 Bhagavad Gita en el mes de diciembre gracias a la misericordia de Srila Prabhupada y del Señor Krishna.

Siguiendo con el servicio de Sankirtan en enero, con buenas perspectivas porque hay turismo en la zona donde vivo, entonces hay mucha gente estos meses.

Tratando de mantener una regularidad en el canto de japa. Para este año me propuse cantar las 16 rondas todos los días. Ya que cuando cumplo con el sadhana diario me siento mucho mejor mentalmente.

Tratando de retomar mi estudio de Bhakti Sastri, desde hace unos meses lo dejé un poco de lado y deseo recomenzar.

Junto con los devotos vecinos de la zona estamos estudiando el Srimad Bhagavatam quincenalmente y también nos juntamos semanalmente a leer el Bhagavad Gita.

I wish You are perfect in all aspects, I wish read more in the DTC of today about You, all days I see.

This time I haven´t any Iskcon association, it was a very dry time and space…I wish have association in Nrsimhadeva or Gaura purnina in Nueva Vrajamandala or in Valencia in a near future.

Preach ... I preach all I can to the people around me, some more information than others. I try to give this gift all I can, one way or another, especially the gift of the "Mantra Yoga" meditation with the transcendental names of God ... I don't try to give other knowledge unless I am asked for more information, and I am generally asked for more information on why the names of God or why Hare Krishna, then I explain more. I do not usually explain anything institutional unless they wish to know, and this is not usually the case, they generally want to know more, some, but nothing about institutions.

It is also true that I am generally not very long in one place, and I think I give them enough information so that they can find more in the future if I am not, and I think it's quite in my circles, I don't do a very complex preach.

My philosophy is that people do not decide one way or another, because I do not usually see many results, but that they learn a tool of transcendental meditation, and I put my confidence that Paramatma will guide them then. So I have seen many more results over the years, of course in my circles, which are usually very normal.

HpS - Please accept ours! We are so, so, sad when we read this letter. We think of everyone in ISKCON Australia: You, Dhan., kids, parents, Laksmi, Raktaka family, MADHU-MANJARI DEVI DASI and so many more. We miss you.

It was so nice for me to hear your class on varnashram and Bhagavat dharma live today; a great refresher of your life’s work. I wish that you will empower me to carry at least one spec of sand for you. If I cannot do this, I do not deserve the kindness you have drowned me in.

ASA - 😳 We are just beasts that Srila Prabhupada has taught to dance.

Dr. Mabbett and I have been exchanging emails.

HpS - Wonderful!!!

The last six months in Australia have been fire, flood, and now pandemic. Dr. Mabbett and his good wife seam [seem] to be fairing well through it all. Although he has now fully retired from academic work, he is currently working on a book of his life’s philosophy. I will try to obtain a copy on completion as he is a very interesting teacher and he has a good heart.

HpS - Super... We can review it and sell it in Solaris (Viplavah).

Australia is gradually moving towards more strict lockdowns. Isolation is no stranger to us, as we like to be at home doing bhajan, puja, and study and we are used to spending a lot of time together. I am a full-time online student so these times are favorable to me, to us. My family is all well, due to Krsna’s mercy.

HpS - Radhika-ramana Das looked at all the rules and restrictions and realized that they already were doing all of them. We, devotees, are constantly in quarantine.

Current subjects I am taking at university: Freud and philosophy, 20th Century French philosophy, and Religion, Rights, and Governance. Only 6 subjects left (including the 3 that am currently enrolled in) to finish the bachelor's.

HpS - Can you wear a Black Robe with a Mortar Board hat, shake hands with the President (and use sterile wipe afterwards)! Bachelor (B'cari), Master (Swami), PhD/Doctor of Philosophy (Teacher of Love of Wisdom) = Bhakti- Veda-Anta

Just before the pandemic exploded, I completed 5 weeks teaching Bhakti Shastri and general Shastra Studies at the Gurukula here for the high school students — grades 7-12. For the Bhakti Shastri I chose to study with them the book you carry around your neck. They all wrote nice essays. It was a very informative experience for me — many insights about the state of education today.

We pray this meets you in good health, and we pray that you give us some shelter/service always.

ps, the Freud lecture slide was unintentional but I can’t remove it. Anyways, that's an example of what I am studying at uni, I suppose. His conclusion are quite disturbing and unsatisfying, actually. Thank God for Jung and Prabhupada!.

Primero quiero partir disculpándome porque no le escribí hace varios meses, yo pensaba que no quería molestarlo con mis temas pero me di cuenta que fue un error, así que ahora le escribiré más seguido.

HpS - AGTSP.. And please forgive us for not answering. We are lazy and have more mail and personal consultations with devotees et al, than we can handle. And the letter is in Spanish so it is six times as hard for us to answer, but we try one paragraph more. 😀

Bueno guru maharaj este año ha sido para mi un año lleno de muchos cambios, en el que krishna me ha enseñado muchas cosas. Desde que regrese de argentina la vida me ha cambiado mucho, primero estuve 7 meses con kinesiólogo por dolencias en la espalda,

. . . hoy en día estoy mucho mejor pero pronto comenzaré un proceso con un quiropráctico, para cerrar eso y mejorar al 100%.

Aparece de sta karta que Vd es uno de los mas sanos, fuertes, personas en la planeta. No deja al lado ninguna oportunidad ser un leider, si unos quiere seguir Vd.

Este año he estado cuidando a mi abuela junto a mi madre, mi abuela tiene 91 años de edad, tiene muchas dificultades para hacer sus actividades individualmente, por eso yo la cuido, le cocino, y mi madre se ocupa en cuestiones de su higiene personal. Estas experiencias me han llevado a vivir de cerca lo que es la vejez y como el cuerpo se va pudriendo cada vez más hasta que llega el momento en que hay que abandonarlo. Mi abuela ha tomado prasada, le he mostrado videos de vrindavan, tiene un kanthi mala en su cuello, y una imagen gigante de gopala en su habitación. A ella le gusta mucho radha y krishna, dice que radha es una mujer muy bella y se siente atraída hace ella.

Por este cuidado que le hacemos, no he podido llevar la vida de monje que llevaba antes, y me fui adaptando con el paso de los meses.

Este año también ha sido un año maravilloso junto a mi madre, quien cada vez está mas cerca de krishna, ella esta cantando rondas, y esta siguiendo los 4 principios regulativos, y ha cambiado totalmente su personalidad y su vida en general. Ahora ella fue aceptada como aspirante a discípula por su santidad jayapataka swami así que está muy feliz, y yo me siento enormemente bendecido.

Hace poco tiempo comencé a trabajar en lo que estudie antes de ser monje 3 años, que fue psicología, estuve en mucha ansiedad durante hartos meses porque no teniamos dinero, pero krishna hizo los arreglos en el momento indicado, lo que me llevó a comprender que hay que tener paciencia, krishna siempre nos está complaciendo, pero no debemos perder la calma. ahora trabajo con personas que viven en situación de calle, es una realidad muy dura. Esta experiencia me está purificando mucho, ya que debo ser tolerante, compasivo, y me hace ser consciente de los sufrimientos que tienen algunas personas en esta era de kali.

Algunas veces me quedo a dormir en el templo y asisto a mangal artik, pero en casa me levanto temprano, realizo un sadhana matutino y me voy al trabajo. Durante todo el dia me mantengo cantando hare krishna ya que el trabajo me hace caminar mucho. Durante la noche adoro a tulasi devi y la riego, ella ha sido muy misericordiosa conmigo. Mi madre le hizo un vestido muy bello.

Por otra parte, aprendí astrología védica y hace 1 año que estoy trabajando con eso, y por misericordia de krishna hemos podido ayudar a muchas personas. Hay personas que no conocen el templo pero les damos el maha mantra hare krishna porque en astrología se explica que el remedio astrológico más potente de todos, que purifica por completo, es el maha mantra hare krishna. Entonces les damos una japa mala de neem y les enseñamos a cantar, además de que usan ciertas gemas de los planetas.

finalmente me gustaria decirle que estoy agradecido con su visita a santiago de chile, estar con usted me da muchas fuerzas siempre. como soy un tonto, durante mucho tiempo estuve confundido por las politicas administrativas del templo, por maya, por muchas cosas. pero gracias a su agradable ayuda siempre hay un nuevo amanecer y una nueva oportunidad en la vida espiritual.

estoy adaptandome a la vida que tengo ahora, espero tomar mas servicios y seguir madurando en la consciencia de krishna. su agradecido discipulo, que espera algun dia ser realmente un vaishnava, mandara sakha dasa.
