Soy Karuna mayi devi dasi, de Perú. Le cuento algo sobre mí, aunque no hay cambios, siempre levantándome temprano, sadhana, escuchando el Srimad Bhagavatam, 16 rondas diariamente y mis 4 principios.

Usted desde hace muchos años atrás hablo sobre el tema de sanyasi para Anandamaya Das y a mi me afectaba mucho. Estuve pensando y hace dos meses he aceptado esa idea de ser como usted lo dijo una vez en una clase “una viuda civil” y quedarme al cuidado de Sergio y Sita por el momento.

Para una persona como yo, aceptar y entrar en esta etapa de mi vida es muy difícil, aunque me siento por una parte tranquila porque no estoy yendo en contra del varna y también usted hace unas semanas dijo en una clase de vanaprastha que la esposa se quedaba bajo la protección de Krishna. Disculpe por no ser una mejor discípula.

I was afraid of Sannyasa etc. but I though let me try to surrender, then little by little things were revealed and I got so much benefit. Sannyasa is not to separate husband and wife. It is to connect them much closer. So close that even death cannot separate them.

HpS - AGTSP! Paoho. I think it was a Lecture, not a Room Conversation. Srila Prabhupada was talking about how the Vrajavasi's were not very big, big scholars or rich, but they had the highest love for Krsna. As I remember Srila Prabhupada said, that Nanda Maharaja could not read or write. He would hire some educated fool to do it for him, what speak of the girls (here Srila Prabhupada's accent was very strong, "Garls"), but they would attend lectures given by the learned Brahmanas and thus they knew everything about the structure of the universe and so forth.

If you can find it with that information it will be wonderful. Please let us know.

I want to start this letter with a big and enthusiastic THANK YOU! I am very grateful for your response to my previous letter, a few things were removed from my mind that needed to be cleared up and I was only certain of that after reading your response.

Thank you for your effort and taking the time to do so, I really admire everything you do for us, it is incredible.

HpS - When you become a Granny you will do the same. 😎

I also understood how fortunate I am to have your instructions, your association, and the opportunity to perhaps perform some service for you. I appreciate the advice and goodwill of Maharaja Bhakti Prabhupada Damodar, I admit that I was quite ungrateful and proud, I am very sorry.

Now I understand that I had to change my mindset and recognize that I am being guided by you to be able to get closer to Krishna, I am very fortunate, what have I done to receive such a blessing?

HpS - Maybe from last life! Maybe just mercy!!

I’ve continued to read your previous reply from time to time because the words are few but they contain a lot of wisdom and perhaps at present I am not able to appreciate your teachings 100%.

I want to ask you 3 questions, they are simple:

1. The longer we spend "apart" from Krishna, is it more difficult to recall or revive the desire to be with him? HpS - No. Material time has no meaning in relation to Krsna. You can be mean, and cruel, and selfish in just a moment or for 1,000 years. He is waiting for you to come back and play with Him and everybody.
2. Is the separation we feel from Krishna an illusion, is it like a dream? HpS - Basically yes, but as we read SB, CC etc it becomes more clear.
3. Do we really as souls continue with Krishna only that we are "distracted"? HpS - If you mean are we having our own personal relation with Krsna even while we are in this world, then I would say, "Yes", but yes, we are distracted by His external energy. It is like the Cat forgets that he is playing with you when you shake the yarn in from of him.

Excuse me if my questions are elementary but I feel that listening to it or reading it from you helps me to trust and keep that answer faithfully in my heart.
