How is your health and how is your Kartik going?
 
We are doing good here in Houston but we have not heard from Bhaktarupa Prabhu regarding our Bhakti Vaibhava center approval. It is a long time for making such a simple decision no?
 
Do you have any other news regarding this matter?

HpS - Jaya!!! AGTSP.... paoho... Our health, Brother Asses health, is normal. We are really Pitta so we get these allergy reactions to Poison Ivy and pollen VERY strong, but we are learning how to make a practical use of a Bad Bargain... My next Ass will be spiritual. And you al?
 
We are in Chile until 28th. The university programs are going very, very well. We have more and more solid contact and friendship with very nice, powerufl educators. I think the whole world is changing for the better. 28th November we go for a week in Ecuador then the 8th of December we are back in Nashville. We will stay there for a month!!! Good chance for telephone and postal contact!.
 
We arrive in Houston at noon on the 9th of January, Wednesday and then go on to San Jose on Friday miday also. It is short, but we cannot spend so much time traveling like before so we thought, "O.K. quick visit ot Texas while they are in vacations and longer stay in West Coast, then we can stay for few weeks in June". Is O.K? We can meet with, everyone on th 9th, 10th... January???
 
I tried to contact Hari lila about this but he is in India.
 
I would suggest just writing to Bhakta rupa again. He is very busy and the Board of Examiners only meet by internet except for their Annual Mayapura meetings. I think that that is all that it needs. Just an e-mail and even ask him for his phone number. He is a very nice person, organized, and I'm sure he would also like to have a personal relationship with you. He is American, USA.

We are on Schedule, finishing Canto Three. "No one dies feeling satisfied that he is leaving enough money for the family". "The material world is so designed that unless one is an expert diplomat he is guaranteed to be a failure".

Porfavor reciba nuestras reverencias Guru Maharaja

Gracias a sus bendiciones, tuvimos un festival de RAMA VIJAYOTSAVA muy lindo. Asistieron mucho devotos felices,  niños acompañandos de sus padres, jovénes y adultos también, icluso personas que hiban a comer al restaurante del templo, pudieron observar lo felices que estaban los niños con sus disfraces de monitos, raksasas, etc. Se dieron premios a los ganadores en los juegos y dinámicas de integración, como Bhagavad gitas poket, peliculas del Ramayana, títeres del señor jagannatha, entre otros. ASA Kids presentó la obra de teatro  RAMAYANA "una batalla incomparable", el grupo de jóvenes presentó un radio teatro llamado "la última balatalla" , las dos presentaciones fueron muy ovacionadas. Repartimos prasadam y por último rompimos una piñata del demonio RAVANA. Muchos hermanos espirituales y devotos de la comunidad participaron en este hermoso festival, cada uno con su granito de arena. Sabemos que tenemos mucho que mejorar, pero humildemente le rogamos, acepte esta pequeña ofrenda de la escuelita del templo ASA KIDS México.

Aprovechamos para informarle, que hemos comenzado un nuevo curso escolar este pasado 4 de noviembre, prabhu Aristasena nos sigue intruyendo con respecto a los programas de estudio y organización de eventos como MAHA HARINAMA y salidas a chapultepec , el fin de mes sería nuestra primera salida.

Querido Gurudeva porfavor disculpe nuestras ofensas y carencias en nuestro servicio, comprendemos que lo unicó que nos mantiene en este pequeño servicio son sus bendiciones. MUCHAS GRACIAS POR SU TIEMPO Y NECESARIAS INSTRUCCIONES.

Hahaha :) I like your sense of humour, Maharaja!
Yes, my story is like a Stephen King novell. But what i wrote it was just a preface of the book, much worse things happened there also :(
Since i got in touch with You i became a different person, i changed a lot. From Your mercy i learnt so many things but i still have to understand a lot.
I don't want to bother You with my mental platform always so i try to not write to You so often. I always start my days with Your blog and i get answer for my non asking questions from Your responses to others.
I hope we can meet in person in Europe next year.

Online Education

Sometimes I was thinking to cooperate with some nice online education program, so people who come to vedabase.com can take some nice online course. Unfortunately none of the current ISKCON online education programs fit standards I would like to provide.
 
Some time ago I mentioned the idea about online education to Mahendra Prabhu. Few days ago I asked Vidvan Gauranga Prabhu (our local scholar, he was teaching here under guidance of HG Gopiparadhana Prabhu) if he would like to be part of the project. We spoke like 3-4 hours, we looked at how MIT and Udacity are doing and got inspired more and more. The same day when I visited Mahendra and Pandava Prabhus they told me: "We have to start that online education". Then I told them I spoke with Vidvan that day about it, later to find that they independently of us also spent about 3-4 hours with the same :)
 
Our main ideas/concepts so far:
  • Free education (it is against our conviction to charge for education, only those who will want certification will have to pay a fee)
  • Certification for Bhakti-sastri, etc...
  • To establish the highest quality (both in sense of education and technology)
  • All different levels, similar to Khan Academy (www.khanacademy.org). From the most simple basics, through Bhakti-sastri, Bhakti-vaibhava, ...
  • We would like to work in collaboration with ASA / NIOS if possible.
 
On Friday after lunch we all plan to meet and discuss our ideas to see if all of us have a compatible vision and plan further.

                  HpS - ASA/NIOS - AGTSP   paoho.    You can see we are a little slow in answering because of our life style.   That is the kind of partner we would be.     Ha!   Ha!            Yes, of course we would like to join.    We have been doing a lot of work in this area.   One principle is that Gurukula means place of the Guru. So our whole idea of education is very personal. First principle is Association: Student-Teacher, Students-Students.  Then...   we work on Processes in that ambience,    then ...  we are concerned on learning specific content.   Many other things.     At the end of SB 1.6, Suta tells the sages that now he will try to make them experience the instructions he heard from Sukadeva Goswami the same way he experienced. We are trying to communicate a point of view, attitude, consciousness more that facts, no????        How to do that?     Blogs for new readers to associate with other new readers!  ....

Maharaja estoy cantando 3 rondas fijas, pero siguo cantando mas de 3, fijo 4 principios por unos dias, lectura krishna book y otros.

aqui le mando unas preguntas:

¿ es cierto que los pandavas y sus esposas no cambiaron sus cuerpos al momento de su muerte?

      HpS - ASA -  AGTSP   paoho We don't know?   We think it may mean that they didn't have to take another birth, but they are eternal associates of the Lord, so sometimes they may be the Pandavas, and other times some body else.

¿que quiere decir cantar sin ofensas?

        HPS - Hay dies ofensa y tenemos que evitar!

¿es cierto que cuando se tira prasadam al suelo esta no se contamina?

         Es como un diamante. No contimina el diamante pero posible tiene que limpiar de cosas mal connectado.

si el alma deja el cuerpo al momento de la muerte ¿ porque Jesucristo se fue al cielo con su cuerpo material?

     No se.  Hay pasatiempos especficas.

¿ es verdad que si continuamos siguiendo el principio isavasiam(isopanisad), puedo vivir cientos de años

      HpS -  Podemos aspirar. Pero solamente esperamos ir o quedar donde Krsna quiere.

¿ si krishna protege a su devoto porque alguien como aindra prabhu tuvo que morir en un accidente? 

     HpS - La misma razon que Maharaja Parikshit fue maldecido injustamente posible.

Letras de un días para contestar. Kapi dhvaja mañana. Luchando con alergia a la primavera en Santiago. Aquí, muuuy común. Nuestro yoga, ayurveda ayudando a mucho. Ahora estornudo, inflamación en la nariz, pero antes de que se utiliza para llegar a los pulmones con asma!!!

Conferencias de gigantes, conslutations. 45% internet eficaz. Ayuda maravillosa de devotos. Reunion para desarrolla de curriculum de Luz de La Bhagavata y el Libro, Viaje al Occidents una hora hoy.
O.K. a la cama o morir!
