Just as you do, I think it is easier to understand, read what we got, and what we put.

HPS: This seems to be a common test that Krsna gives people. Almost the same thing happened to me when I went to the Temple in San Francisco the first time. So I went back out to my car and took shelter of Srila Prabhupada's KRSNA book and practically the first thing I read was, "One should not be discouraged if there are obstacles in the path of devotional service in the beginning. One should go ahead with enthusiasm and everything will be successful."

That's was I thought when I've internalized the situation, Krsna is giving me some test to verify my sincerity...So, we're trying to be more enthusiastic about spiritual life, we want sooo bad be a better devotee of Krishna; the supreme gold.

So I went back to the Temple and tried again and was great experience.
When the list of Candidates for being Aspirants and Initiation was made up there was not proper evaluation by the ISKCON standard. I can't remember the details but I think it was communicated to us that although you were doing very well, you had not been chanting sixteen rounds a day and following full program for six months.

Is that a fact?

I told you in the past letter, that the president of the temple Prabhu Amara Gouranga Das, told me that he with P.Omkesavaya Das recommended me to take Refugee, so, if is that true, they knew that I was chanting my 16 rounds, and following the 4 principles.
 In September, I spoke with P. Om kesavaya Das, and I told him, that sometimes was dificult to me chant 16 rounds, but I still chanting them, I did'nt finished the rounds at 7.00 am, sometimes I had to finished them like 19.00 pm. So, I can't understand what happened in there...

               HpS - ASA  - AGTSP  30 December. From what he said to me I think the communication got distorted that you weren't yet able to keep 16 rounds.  As far as I am concerned, if you have been chanting 16-nice rounds, and fillowing  four principles strictly (mangala arati, SB class, Sankirtana) for 6 months then you can be an Aspirant. Talk with the Om K Das y get it straight.  One year of following you can be initiated>

About the full program, I have to tell you, that almost everyday of University I slept like 3:00 am, because I have to do works with other people who do stuff for University at this time, so is very harsh for me wake up early, sleeping 1 or 4 hours. But, if I can sleep more, I try to wake up early in my home, or stay in the temple. Because I know that sadhana is such a very important think in ISKCON, to improve our spiritual life.
              ASA -  Hmmm..   This is the problem  Have to resolve this problem.  Srila Prabhupada con nosotros.   Krsna con las Gopas..  MUST have Mangala arati.

I've been like almost 3 years in the movement,  since like 8 months I regulary chant my rounds, with all the things in University(read, read, read, read and read. Works in group ..ufff) , they aren't so goood, but with the time we're learning how to chant properly, with attention, we aren't the best devotee, I have so much anarthas, but I want to try, I really want to be a better devotee for Krishna, for Lord Caitanya, for Srila Prabhupada, for you... I was doing the service of 12 Hour Kirtan, helping with the transmission and sound equipment, since six months.

Tengo que aprender cada dia mas para entender este proceso y su conexión con Srila Prabhupada.

Principios bien, mis rondas van mejor,,, de vez en cuando realizo mangala arati ... !! me agrada mucho y me siento mas fuerte...

          asa - es una practica mistico para obtener poderes super-humanos para difundir la culta bhakti!!!!

....Estamos realizando con los devotos de viña del mar programas alternados en mi casa y  donde prabhu Ignacio... Es muy interesante por que se discuten temas importantes y hacemos rondas de preguntas y leemos fragmentos de algunos textos de Srila Prabhupada, las clases de Prabhu Ignacio son de manera mas pedagogica. Nuestra idea es apoyarnos en nuestro servicio para mejorar nuestras ideas y nuestro entorno. Estoy encargada de entregar informes a la junta con prabhu Om kesavaya.  Quizas el esta leyendo los informes o quizas no... pero lo hacemos. .. esperamos recibir algunas aclaraciones de parte de ellos y continuamos con el servicio por ahora.

           ASA - La misma como Vd. pero despues de 30 anos de esfuerza.  Misma esfuerzas mejorar, minimizar lujuria.

....no alcance a despedirme de usted, y comentarle que sus conferencias son cada dia mejores. Su alcance de conocimiento para diferentes temas  es mejor. Yo estoy solucionando algunos asuntos de dinero para continuar mis últimos dos años en la universidad. He estado un poco triste, pero con muchas ideas para desarrollar. Siempre recuerdo a usted  cuando veo pasatiempos de Krishna y Gopis. .. y a veces creo que Vaikunta es algo muy lejano para nosotros. Usted dijo que solo la potencia de la suseción dicipular puede lograrlo, y sí lo creo. me parece,.  Pero también creo, que existen otras dimensiones paralelas detrás de esta suseción.

             ASA - Claro!   Linea de Jesucristo!    Por ejemplo

Quería confesarle a usted que yo sigo creyendo en esto por que la primera vez que pude conocerlo no me expliqué jamás por que  algunos devotos enferman o sufren calamidades ,,, yo enfermé tanto y llore bastante, hasta pude retroceder a vidas pasadas   y en una especie de alucinación pude ver al señor NArasimhadeva detrás de su imagen, sin conocer demasiado de esto... entre otras cosas muy extrañas,, no es mi intención decir nada de una manera engañosa o poco juiciosa, solo queria saber si esta potencia de la suceción dicipular se genera solo cuando el devoto es iniciado o desde el momento que tomas contácto con el devoto puro.

            ASA - Siempre.  Asistir la universidad tiene potencia.  No hay bars, brothels etc.  Pero, mas fuerte es entrar en un clase, a veces, y mas fuerte es ser un alumno mariculado con esta realcion de estudios con la facultad...

Cuáles son esas realidades paralelas ?

            ASA -  Infinitas.  Por ejemplo un realidad por nuestras ojos, otro por nuestra oidos, otro por nuestra cellular....      infinitas realidades parallelas sensual, mental, y espiritual.            Rama Bhaktas, Visnu Bhaktas...

Sucede con cualquier práctica de yoga no? como por ejemplo la suceción de Jesucristo a travez de? o la suceción de otras escuelas ahora nulas.

              ASA - Existen, pero son diferentes.  Muchos alumnos lineas de BG, Biblia, pero con diferent entensidad en diferente momentos.  La linea de la Biblia por San Francisco es diferente antes de San Francisco y despues.

Tengo mucho interez en poder iniciarme con usted, pero también quiero tener la seguridad que puedo ser capaz de enfrentar los obstaculos y continuar en el servicio.

               ASA - Como se llama su esposo?  Quien es??   Como se llama su Bebe?              Si, es importante ser capaz presentar preguntas al professor, pero si sentimos el professor es demasiado mansa vamos a caer en ofensas.  En esta etapa, si uno es professor necesitamos amistad y respecto.

Hare Krishna Guru Maharaja. Again, Ignacio. I`m writing to send you the vision and mission for NIMSAR and also the objectvies of Bhakti-sadacara. Here it is:

1) VISION:

 a) About Contents:
      i) Build a solid basis of the philosophical principles taught in the Gaudiya Vaisnava

          HpS - Philos =   Love,   Sophi = Wisdom.   Same as our tradition, Bhakti, not impersonal Jnana tradition of knowledge.  You want to build a solid basis of principles of love of wisdom from Gaudiya tradition.  So that would be how to chant Hare Krsna, Dance and Honor Prasadam....    Result would be 16 enthusiastic rounds and 4-principles strictly.       You must teach what you know.  Write a Bhakti program that Bhakta Ignacio is realizing!      Very nice.

 b) About teaching:
      i) Focus on generated meaningful learning

ASA -  How will it be generated?  Isn't the teaching meant to generate it???             Meaningful learning.. Learning that is realized?   Learn the recipe for pakoras and then cook them and offer them?

     ii) Adapted to different educational necessities    ASA - Huh?   Foreign language students?
 

    iii) Evolve into depth not only into extensively - ASA - NOI Text Eight talks about this.  First continuous then  concentrated and then deep.        But what do these terms mean...   Hmmm...  more detials needed.  Seems  beyond Bhakta course.  Into Sannyasa candidate.   First is to learn, practice, how to chant sixteen nice rounds daily and follow four principles strictly for six months
 

     iv) To educate people to help in the mission of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu
                     ASA - Jaya....  Preface of NOI... Our level.
  c) About learning - ASA - Huh??  About, within, above..?
      i) Gradually growing up in a “spiral learning” of complexity and abstraction

              ASA - Seems nice but better depth and breadth.  Learning the same things but in more detail and practical aplicability.

     ii) Develops students that are academically and praxiologically self-sufficient.   ASA -  What do you mean?  In one sense only God is self-suffiencient.  Your Bhakta program will make people God in (180-days)!  Aaachaa.

 

2) MISSION

 a) About contents
      i) Develops a personal understanding about the philosophical concepts dealt in the books written  
          by A.C. Bhaktivedanta swami
 b) About Teaching
      i) Systematizes programs that respond to different educational necessities
     ii) Improve a based on principles education
 c) About learning
      i) Give tools that allows the students to be self-sufficient in academic and praxeological issues
     ii) Stimulate the student to take responsibility and independence in making decisions on their own
          process.
    iii) Develops enthusiasm, confidence, patient, discipline, healthy relationships, authenticity, self-
          assessment, and value of the Vedic culture

ASA -  Same comments as in the VISION section.   These terms VISION, MISSION, do not seem to be terms in Srila Prabhupada's basic diction.  He uses "Mission of Lord Caitanya in the Preface of NOI.    Seems useul if you focus your work on the Preface of NOI first..  Chant, meditate on it and extract practical principles of a Bhakta Program for Bhakta Ignacio..

3) BHAKTI SADAARA`S  ASA - Sad-achara.   Good character.

OBJETIVES: ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT OF BHAKTI YOGA

ASA -  At this point we stop because we feel that it is too, too, analytical for our present level of development.  Like in the Preface of NOI Srila Prabhupada mentions Radha-rani, but to what depth.
Write a Program for Bhakti Ignacio that you think will really bring Bhakta Ignacio to the standard of being a Formal Aspirant
 

    i) Create a personal logic about the basic concepts of the Gaudiya vaisnava
      (1) Recognize the principles that  determine the philosophy of the Gaudiya Vaisnava
      (2) Describe the principles of the Gaudiya Vaisnava
      (3) Exemplify the main principles with situations of the daily life.
      (4) Reflect in the impact of these principles
      (5) Apply these principles when solving problems of the daily life situations.

   ii) Produce strategies of self-knowledge
      (1) Identify one´s strengths  and weeknesses to develop devotional service
      (2) Exemplify circumstances that realize these aspects
      (3) Design strategies to turn problems into opportunities to improve devotional life.

  iii) Deconstruct the vision and mission of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
      (1) Describe, analyze and extrapolate the main principles of the vision and mission of Srila
            Prabhupada

          ASA -  Jaya  AGTSP!!!

....Every time feels like I am at a whole new place in my devotional path. Taking some initiative, settling into my calling, making/executing plans.

Also, a new brahmacari will be coming with me this time. I am excited for him to see a new temple! He has a very strong heart in KC, and is very steadfast. I am always impressed by these devotees around me.

We have been having some traving book distributors stop by the temple a couple times now. We all feel like it is Krishna's mercy to be sending some association.

High energy, fired up kirtan, I feel the mode of passion starting to dominate my life. Better than the lazy ignorance I have been in all my life. I feel like I could just do kirtan for hours!

Looking forward to Boise!!! Jaya Bhanke Bihari!

Tomorrow is the Vyasa PUja of my dear god brother, HH Bhakti Swarupa Damodar Goswami.
He is very dear to Srila Prabhupada. As a science student he was able to ask all the right questions so that Srila Prabhupada could put the modern scientists in the right perspective. 
He was also one the first Indian born devotees to get initiated by Srila Prabhupada.

I had second initiation at the same time as him. I did not know him as he was a Ph.D. science student coming to LA every morning form Laguna Beach and going on the walk with Srila Prabhupada, and going back to school.

Por favor acepte mis respetuosas reverencias, todas las glorias a Srila Prabhupada. Espero y su salud continúe mejor y El Señor Nrisimhadeva lo proteja como siempre.

Continuamos esforzándonos con el canto de 16 rondas diarias y 4 principios y un poco de Sankirtana con mi mamá. Termine el 3° semestre de la Licenciatura, con promedio de 9.3,

....ahora estoy recuperando mi Sadhana que descuide por final de semestre,  me encuentro muy apenada  por que no pude seguir bien su instrucción respecto a dormirme temprano y pararme temprano para realizar  las tareas de la escuela, lo logre poner en practica pocas veces, sé que es una instrucción a largo plazo y cada día tendré que esforzarme para mejorarlo, en conciencia de krishna no hay imposibles.
 

     ASA - Vamos a ver (nsostros ya aprendemos tambien) mas que adaoptamos oredenes de Guru-parampara la vida material tanto la vida espiritual mejora!

....Por ahora mi servicio es en la Boutique del templo los fines de semana y entresemana estoy ocupándome en la casa y el altar del hogar, estaré visitando a la familia que tiene mucho que no veo.

Gurudeva, he tomado una decisión, sé  que yo no  me mando sola, que dependo de sus consejos pero también supuse el discípulo debe decidir cada día para servir a Krishna. En mi escuela hay una beca de intercambio para Alemania por un semestre y me alentaron a pedirla, los requisitos son 80 % de idioma ingles y 20% Aleman, tengo el deseo de aspirar a ella, así que estoy considerando  darme de baja un año de la escuela para estudiar Ingles y Alemán y cursos de Redacción e Investigación para proyectos Artísticos y Culturales, en dado caso de no obtenerla a Alemania podria pedirla a cualquier otro pais con beca, pese en India, Que le parece la idea Gurudeva? Considero que esta decisión me ayudara a regresar a la escuela mucho mejor preparada, sé que eso atrasara un año la carrera pero podre ocupar lo aprendido en un mejor servicio para Krishna.

Solo espero su enorme bendición y fuerza para que esto pueda funcionar y lleve a mejorar los servicio a Srila Prabhupada e ISCKON.

La Comunidad Artistica, ya encontramos que un devoto llamado Marco, es aspirante a usted,  estudia programación de paginas Web y se ha ofrecido a estar actualizando la pagina del templo constantemente J, estaremos dándole seguimiento a los proyectos Artísticos y seguir en contacto con este grandioso medio que es internet.

             ASA - HpS -  Jaya!!!  TlgaSP.     Primero proyecto es la  saddhana.      no super.. pero al minimo     B U E N   programa por la manan competa.     Ja Pa Pa!!!   Mangala arati con sus deidades (flor, incenso, limpia, pnctual) (bailando como un angel), Srimad Bhagavatam (CC or Krsna o...).  Ofredienndo y honrando   BUEN   Prasadam  y....  Sankirtana en associacion de BUEN   devotos de ISKCON.      Claro eso puede ser viaje a Alemania.
