Dear Guru Maharaja

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to you!

I am still in India. I am in Nagpur now visiting Divya’s parents. Will leave from here on Monday and have my flight back to Dallas on 1-Sep and we’ll reach on 2-Sep. Divya Sri is alone but thankful we have such a nice community of devotees who are taking care of her. Our car was broken into a few days back in the temple parking lot when Divya was dressing Radha Govinda. But she is ok and the car is in the workshop.

In the time I’ve been here, I haven’t been able to work on ASA Encyclopedia. When I arrived, it was the 10th day ritual for my uncle, then there was rituals till day 13 with so many relatives in my home. My uncle didn’t have kids. So my father was performing all the samskaras and then my visa appt.

Somehow managed to squeeze in a trip to Mayapur for a 3 days. Met Mishra Bhagavan prabhu there. He took me to Srila Prabhupada’s quarters in the lotus building and told his memories. He said it was in that very room that Prabhupada asked Tamal Krishna Maharaja to go to China! I went to Mayapur after 5 years and the crowd has increased significantly. They have displays in the Pancatattva courtyard for devotees to take Darsan even during mangala arathi as there is no place inside the temple room. It’s totally packed and so wonderful to sing samsaradhava with about a thousand devotees in unison! We felt your connection so much in Mayapur during the morning program.

I then took my father for his cataract surgery and follow up. It was a successful surgery.

I want to ask for forgiveness to have not started work but state that we are very much interested and willing to work on the ASA Encyclopedia. I should have time after Janmastami and will start work and make some progress.

HpS - Nothing to forgive. It seems to be moving ahead practically. If anyone has any idea how to improve things, then please let us know.

Maybe it will prove to be not really worth doing.

Srila Prabhupada wants us to chant Hare Krsna and then adjust our Sankirtan to that base, no?

I would also like to pass the sound-cloud credentials to the ASA carnival team so that they can maintain all the media. Can you please send me the contact of the devotee I should talk to Guru Maharaja?

Quite some time has passed since the last time I wrote to you. I was having some difficulties with the password to access the website. Today, I tried again with a different password and it worked.

Currently, we are living in Cordoba, Argentina. About a year ago, we managed to purchase a place where we could live and at the same time carry out educational projects. It's a 3.5-hectare property with 3 houses, each of them varying in size. Thanks to the infrastructure of the houses, in early 2023, we were able to host Bhakti Bhushana Swami and accommodate 30 devotees.

In the middle of last year, along with Dhanvantari Swami, we conceived the idea of establishing the Jaladuta Institute here on our premises for the year 2023. After a lot of effort, we were able to bring the project to fruition. 13 devotees from different parts of South America enrolled, and since May, we have been conducting the Bhakti Sastri course in our home, which will conclude by the end of November 2023.

Maharaja Dhanvantari stayed with us for 3 months at the beginning of the course, teaching his Bhakti Sastri curriculum.

The course is progressing very well; we have fixed morning programs every day, along with open Sunday programs for the community.

The Jaladuta Institute project in Argentina is inspiring many individuals, and we have received excellent feedback from local yatra authorities.

Being fully engaged in this project has brought tremendous enthusiasm to my family and me to serve in Srila Prabhupada's mission and to continue assisting in the field of education within ISKCON.

We offer this service at the lotus feet of our Gurudevs and hope to be able to continue serving in this area.

Maharaja Dhanvantari has the idea of conducting the Bhakti Sastri course in person every other year in Argentina, alternating with a year in Brazil, one year in Portuguese and the next in Spanish.

We would greatly like to extend an invitation for you to visit Argentina and spend some days here during this year.

It is so nice to have the invitation, but looking at at least three different factors we are estimating that we will be leaving this old, tired body, donkey, about September 2023.

Tired dog.

But happy.

At least we only travel now if someone picks us up at our door and brings us back.

Certainly we are considering invitations to talk about Krsna and go places, but we have to put them in proportion to our energy. 🚥

Dear Maharaj,

PAMHO AGTSP!

Maharaj please don’t apologize for replying late 🙏, we are very grateful you think of us.

We are learning stick fighting sequences here, long stick and short stick.

Then they will teach fighting with metal weapons (sword, short, medium, flexible, javalin), then finally fighting with bare hands.

We have learnt many variations of fighting positions (elephant, lion, boar, snake, fish, cat, cock etc).

It’s intense (my vit D levels dropped and I developed lower back pain, and a bad tooth filling popped from clenching/ joined 2 Yr diploma 5-6hrs/day).

Now I’m recovering and reduced few classes until my body understands what to do.

The calls for all the movements are in Malayali, as this artform originated from Kerala.

We are making meticulous notes for future students. I’m constantly wondering which choreographies can be made with these fight sequences. Quite professional.

We were working on the film for you with Yogi from Houston, but got a bit stuck feeling inadequate. Have to learn more about filmmaking.

In a few weeks I go to Mandi IIT to teach 3 credit course. 14 days, 4hrs/day intensive. 1.5hrs yoga/pranayama/yoga Nidra, 1 hr Odissi, 0.5hrs theory, some HW.

We are trying to design a before and after psychological evaluation for students to fill to understand the therapeutic properties of oriental practices.

HpS - Jaya! Bet it reduces Parkison's Disease.

In the meantime I’ve been applying to PhD programs, emailing professors in US (Harvard/Stanford/MIT etc) interested in research psychotherapeutic benefits of oriental practices to see if my proposal will click. Also applying to AFI, USC, NYU. Wherever Krsna gives scholarship and admission, we will go 🙏.

I've been reading SB daily, need to improve hearing. Morning chanting a little disturbed due to early classes here (but strive for 16rnds before breakfast). Trying to figure out a schedule our body can cope with mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. For this week I’m going to skip morning class so I can chant in Brahms muhurta.

Abhirama has responded to us on time and has given us time to finish the article.

I worked on on ecological issues and also Jung´ideas.

We cannot dimension Jung´s work, but we have been a student with his book memories, dreams, and thoughts and the sacred symbolism.

It strikes me, maharaja, that when i was a child, he had certain frears of the figures of the catholic church, and this makes a lot of sense to me. Its connection with universal and symbolic aspects.

When looking at the 'Solaris' recommendations for publications the sacred and devotional aspects needed to complement some ideas;

So we will include fragments of the Light of the Bhagavata; the cyclical time of the Kalpas; and maybe something else about Srila Prabhupada´s synthesis like the simple life and farming.

Any recommendation?

HpS - Are you working on a specific article for 'Solaris'? I don't know it. Sounds very interesting and you sound like you are contributing very well.

How can i work as an editor... ? at the moment i only have articles. I will send a thesis that is the useful material for the articles, and also part of the article for Abhirama Das.

Last week, I requested permission to use Krishna Art images in the English version (Stories of the Universe), but my request was denied because they consider my project not as good as modern productions like Disney and Century Fox.

Unfortunately, creating a professional production as desired by the devotees in "Los Angeles" would cost me 1-Billion dollars, and I don't think I'll achieve that in this lifetime.

For this reason, I am turning to artificial intelligence to design my own artworks for the

Srimad Bhagavatam, so I won't have to rely on approvals. I am attaching some

images for you to see, as I am still optimizing them.

ASA - Super. After you have some more production, ask them again.

We saw documentary of life of Confucious. He did so much work to synthesize and teach the classical wisdom of China for the good of humanity and The Higher Good, but materialistic kings thwarted him and his most promising student died. He died thinking that he was a failure, but he has been one of the most influential persons in the history of the world. Even now people are leaving Mao's philosophy and returning to Confusious.

So we do the right thing with the resources given and depend on Krsna for the magic.

Considering the bad experience, do you recommend that my project remain connected to the Ministry of Congregational Preaching (MPC)? Or would it be better as a personal project? Or is it better to join NIOS? The MPC could possibly hinder the dissemination of my project in the future, similar to the "Krishna Art" department.

HpS - We can't say. We just don't know.

Politics in ISKCON can become very materialistic at times. GBC, Sannyasi, Gurus can fall into abominable (suduracaro) activities and take their branch of the institution with them. This is normal. So, make it a personal project, make it a part of NIOS.

With whom are you consulting in Peru?
