I talked with Abhaya about a week ago and he said that Saranga was busy with 16,108 festival projets but he would talk with him.

Of course, we want to develop this work either in Texas or Tennessee etc. and hope that we can get your mercy in the work.

We have a very active worker coming to settle here 3rd of April. Sri Hari Das, retiring as Dean of Engineering at big Indian University.

Even before that we can start looking at certificates in motion picture design at the local university.

I can definitely try to put something together for Ram Navami.

I need some more clarity.

So you would like the story to not have too many sci-fi or wizardry elements but more modern archetypes, so that the story is relatable?

Or can we use magical elements and just not sci-fi?

This will help me in forming the story.

HpS - We, agtSP, struggle with this ourselves, so ask a lot of people, and let us know their opinions also. One standard that keeps coming to me is a phrase from Srila Prabhupada, "Whatever sells books is legal".

Yet this must be taken with depth.

If it sells one book today and gets us blocked from selling 1000 books in the next month, then it is not legal.

If it sells one book to a future book distributor, social leader, Prakazananda Sarasvati, then it is legal.

Clarify your audience.

Magical fiction//SF, modernization all seem important in the Sankirtan perspective. Think about it. Talk with others. Try something out. Watch the results.

Regarding my sadhana at Kalarigram, yes they know I’m a Gaudiya Vaishnava and they allow me to skip 1st morning class for my sadhana. However I’m still trying to figure out a schedule in which i can do both. But as a bottom line I aim to finish chanting before breakfast as you guided.

When I heard that the NIOS Campus Project was becoming more and more real, I began to wonder at the most basic level.

Who I am?

A spiritual soul eternal servant of Krishna, but now in maya.

With the body of a man, already old, married to a wonderful devotee: Raman reti devi dasi.

Professor for many years, with a supposed Brahminical tendency, with completed master's studies in university education.

Who we are?

I think those of us understand the objectives and projects of ASA and NIOS well enough to want to cooperate more. Those of us who sufficiently understand the idea of the NIOS campus and can contribute something from our large or small position.

I was wondering, do I, we, fit into the NIOS campus project? As a visitor or resident?

The first thing that came to mind is: What would I be looking for? A comfortable refuge? Economic development in the USA? Or really contribute something, be an added value?

Then, I remembered a famous saying and paraphrased it:

Don't ask what NIOS can do for you, ask what you can do for NIOS.

And with my wife we began to let our imagination fly. What would happen if we were accepted into this project?

Firstly, we would go with the idea of taking vanaprastha. On campus there might be a house for girls and another for boys, so that would be ideal. We would work hard on whatever you need. In parallel, I can be trained by you, dear gurudev, to take sannyasa. And if Krishna wants, and I think it would be the perfection of life, to take sannyasa from your hands.

My wife is very pro-active and with high social skills, she is an artist, she is a specialist in the education of children with different abilities (she currently handles a couple of cases of children of devotees). She would be very useful to the community of devotees that is formed.

Personally, I have many years of teaching experience and studies, including ISKCON courses. I think it's time to share my experience with devotees who are enthusiastic about education. Furthermore, I would like to help create the curriculum, which I believe would be very innovative based on your ideas, dear Gurudev, and mine as well. I would like to include theater (I have good experience at Newton School and others) and other cultural-educational manifestations according to the people involved.

Anyway, these are some ideas. In reality, other projects we had were diluted. May be this one aswell. This project of yours opens up a whole new panorama for us. Actually, nothing keep us here.

We will see what Krishna wants.

HpS - Damn fine! Now 85% recovered. Surrendering ]MY[ body two teeth at a time.

Both of us are doing alright and Divya's health is good. We get to dress the small deities, Chota Radha Kalachadji (Divya on Tuesdays) and Radha Govinda (Divya on Thursday and I dress on Tuesday).

We have been really involved with the Pujari department here in Kalachandji Dham. We did an entire reorg a couple of weeks back with 6 sub departments and working with devotees to take up the head positions and so on.

Every time I engage in management situations, I am reminded about the principles of

1. Who am I,
2. Who are we,
3. What is the Process [Plan],
4. What [Things] do we need ?

I came across a letter that Srila Prabhupada wrote in 1973 about Radha Kalachandji.

I've been thinking about what I am doing and also Dallas as the place that Srila Prabhupada chose to establish his first Gurukula. It was such a nice reciprocation from Srila Prabhupada for what we've been trying to do here in the pujari department!

Can we say that since Prabhupada chose Dallas as the center for education, because of his desire and potency it will be the center for learning in North America like how Navadwip was in Mahaprabhu's time?

HpS - Sanatana Goswami says that every cowherd boy, thinks that he is Krsna's closest friend.

Guess he is ashamed: Why is Krsna so kind to me???? So many other boys live Him so much more than me.

Then SG continues:... and by the nature of the internal potency, it is a fact.

We see that Murfreesboro can also become the center of education in ISKCON!
