We complete the Bhakti Sastri exam. Was simpler than we thought , but still, I forgot some things, that from now not forget more. We are waiting for the results. Meanwhile, we aside for a while the BG, NOI , NOD and ISO, and started reading the Srimad Bhagavatam. In the first chapter it is said that only a pure person can understand this scripture, however, always recommend us (not pure) to read it. In addition to many spiritual practices, is this reading purifying or have to have a minimum level to be able to read and understand ? <img alt="cool" height="23" src="http://hps.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/shades_smile.png" title="cool" width="23" />

The whole purport is great, "sex desire" is mentioned like 25 times and conclusion is that one should not go beyond Canto Two if cant follow 4-regs. yet, no?

I am following the 4 principles and everyday chanting 16 rounds at least, in a week from 5 am. I wake up half an hour earlier to be in Japa Joe! <img alt="angel" height="23" src="http://hps.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/angel_smile.png" title="angel" width="23" />
I have a question about what does it means to do mangal arati? Is waking up 1 ½ hours before sunrise (although not at 4:30?) to chant Hare Krsna? Is sing Guruastaka? Are both ? How important is each of these points? Is there any more important than another?
ASA - It is in the Nectar of Instruction. Yes, 1-1/2 hours before sunrise, Bhajana and Kirtan for like 20-minutes is our standard. Dance for your Dieties. Make them amazed at your dancing.
Generally , I raise my Sri Sri Gaura Nitai after chanting my rounds, after de shower.

On Sunday February 9 we go with some devotees to south of Chile, including Camila Rubio (aspiring disciple of You. Went to see You at Buenos Aires), do sankirtana and to participate in Ratha Yatra (February 15).
