Gurudeva last time you ask me this  : about the temple programs and the growth over here in Iskcon panama 

HpS - Jaya!  Yes, it is very sad for us when we don't hear from people for a long time.   Who are your associates in Panama?  What are they like???
Temple program, any program, can be Kirtan, Lecture, Kirtan, Prasad!!!  >>>>>  Goloka!!!

My associated in Panama are Prabhu Durmada damana das he is a disciple of HH Guru Prasadad Swami , Palaka Gouranga das he is a disciple of HH Jayapataka swami disciple , Kancani devi dasi  she is a disciple of HH Bhakti Bhusana Swami and few more non devotees or not iniciated devotees .

They are very entusiastic. Palaka gouranga, he lives at the temple always eager to help out, his is a pujari and excellent chef,  Prabhu Durmada damana, he is also a pujari but he is married and he does service 2 o 3 times a week , he likes to give lectures and share krishna conciousness with others. he has hardcore band with krishna conciousness lyrics. thats how i got attracted to the knowledge ,also he likes to coordinate a lot of Harinam .

Kancani devi dasi she studies medicine ,likes a lot of kirtan and is  a strong person with a lot devotion, she also was taking the Bhaktri sastri couse with me  besides them i have more friends .Also i have a few friends Guredeva that arent living here anymore.

Temple program yes there on Saturday there are programs and fridays , i believe on saturday is day of Srimad Bhagavatam , twice a month we have food life its coordinate by Jitu and Manish Prabhu  depending on the localation diferent devotees will help  out. 

Other programs like Conference with univesities is with Prabhu Syama candra he the leader of the conference programs we had 2 or 3 the past 7 months , Lousville university ,FSU , Universidad Nacional de Panama and Ganexa university where the main points for this time .

all of the programs included kirtan , lecture and prasadam  .

Gurudeva the past sunday i was speaking with a devotee from the temple he lives at the temple he the one in charge of saturday program , very wise with chastras , he said he wanted to help me out with the coordination of a future art envolved krishna program that got me really pumped up , i am so glad you are at Washington - Virginia ,i hope i was of service with the art for the poster , i humbly put my all to them .

HpS - Wow!   Wonderful news.   We see the Shakti of Prabhupada!    No reason your community can't grow to enormous proportions!    You are at the door-way between the worlds!!   Every passenger that passes thorugh the canal should get a laddu!

Yes, the poster was extremely effective. It gave the impression of extreme professionalism. I hope you all can be on the team more and more. Dates are aligning for next program in Peru, in end of June. PSCHOLOGY AND THE SACRED ---- ART AND THE SACRED.   Ekasma Das is doing very practical work in developing KC art exhibitions and new productions.  I hope that he writes of his results and then you catch his posts and start exchanging ideas.  A picture is worth a thousand words.

PAMHO, AGTSP. I have been writing to Bhakti Raghava Swami because I am interested in possibly helping with his centre in Cambodia. I speak fairly good Cambodian. He has expressed interest in my he, but he asks that you send him a letter of recommendation about me. Would you be able to write him? 

HpS - Hare Krsna. I don't really know too much about you in this administrative sense. I always find it enlivening corresponding with you and hearing about your pastimes. Devotees there will be able to give better letter about administrative nature of your good self, no?  You were a little bit involved in marriages etc in the past in Thailand or Cambodia, so I can mention that, and the extent to which you were involved in the Indian Jones Rasa before and you can comment how much you are within a regulated standard of Brahminical life now. Shall we do that? His address?

Also Abhimanyu and I realize that as a sansasi [sannyasi] you have many preaching commitments, but we were wondering if you could come to Bali on one of your trips to India or Australia. Devotees here keep asking when you will visit and give us your association.

HpS - With every mention it is becoming more of a possibility. Present to like August 2017 is kind of fixed, but after that maybe we could de an Island tour through Hawaii and Australia and Bali etc.  The real thing is if we can really add something by dragging our Donkey there.

Sorry for the lack of communication. 

We have moved to Thailand with my family, and I'm working as a teacher. We have opened a small restaurant Govinda where we live. We are all very busy and transitions are always tough, but we have the company of devotees so everything is ok.

my chanting is not attentive these lasts months, and reading is not so good either. Please bless with more enthusiasm to improve my self and service.

HpS - ASA ---  Yes, is good to hear from you!   Your situation sounds encouraging. The 'blessings' of a Sannyasi, Brahmana are not some kind of magic pill. Rather the mercy of Srila Prabhupada is his instructions, no?    Then we have to do our part.

Maybe you are an insincere rascal who knows what he should do but would rather take te easier, grey service, of Karma yoga. Focus on what you are doing rather than how you are doing it.

Or maybe you are a very sincere soul who is just in a difficult situation and so the little chanting and reading that you can do are quite exemplary.

We don't know. You have always impressed us as a very sincere person, I would opt to think that you are in a difficult situation and thus offer the advice to not kick yourself too hard for you failings in the basic regulative principles of Bhakti-yoga (sravanam kirtanam visnoh), but rather see all the good things you are doing and then make little, but enthusiastic, changes to your Bhakti-yoga, even daily, to refine your Sravanam, Kirtanam. Get Study Partner(s) and read and discuss one of Prabhupada's books.

Eg., start reading 'Your Ever Well Wisher' for 10-minutes every day before lunch and discuss it with another reader and...

O.K?  What do you serve in the restaurant?   Do you get leads for catering from it?   That's usually much more effective!!

HpS - Hola, Hector!   TlgaSP!   Tlga Radha-Madana gopala de Srila Prabhupada. No, se los detalles, transfondo, de su pregunta. Por ejemplo, Prabhupada dice en uno de sus libros que la Biblia y Koran, son escripturas Vaisnava pero no son eternos, son algo generado en un momento para alguna gente como ellos pueden adelantar en su circumstancia especifica.

Entiendes? Entonces no esperamos los cursos, la Biblia, va a durar para mucho tiempo. No queremos que estaba continuando para mucho tiempo.

Entonces, posible Vd. va a implementar unos cursos con la fin de producir un resultado y despues va a pasar a otros curso.

Nuestra mision esta bien explicado en el prefacio del Upadesamrta: Queremos cualificar nos como podemos ayudar El Senyor Caitanya en su mision de compartir la ciencia de KRSNA a las almas caidas por estudiando los libros dejados por los seis goswamis.

O.K.   Si sus cursos son relacionados con esta perspectivas va a tener potencia durar para mucho tiempo, no?

Espero que sus cursos son muy exitosos y placentera a la comunidad Vaisnava de Mexico!

hope this meet you in good health..

... it's been more than two months since our last letter... things haven't been so good in these time...

Materially I do very well ... I can not complain ... I have two jobs and the studies are quite good ... it is much more than I expected.

In fact I have more responsibilities at school for next year and that makes me very happy because I'm doing what I like and working in a place where I can have some freedom of teaching.

As for health I am taking a special treatment to gain weight. Some doctors are pushing me to eat meat but i am still looking for other options. I feel that I have more energy but I am trying to dose that energy. My mind works more than my body.

My big concern is that in these months I have been questioning a lot Who am I? What is my relationship with Krsna? What is my mission in this life? Do i really want to keep doing this?
I have taken material priorities and because of that I have neglected my spiritual life to the point that I am not chanting the rounds, I am not going to the temple or associating with devotees.

I really know what my duty as a disciple is, but I always find excuses not to. Sometimes I feel like I do not want to. All I ask Krsna every day is to help me feel desires to chant the rounds and improve my spiritual life. 

I feel quite embarrassed to write this because I know I made a promise to you and being honest you gave me so much and I'm always failing. So far I could never consider myself a follower of Srila Prabhupada's follower. 

I do not want to make more promises that maybe I will not fulfill ... I just want to tell you that despite all this problem I still try to improve every day. I know this is only a stage and I hope it happens fast.

I'm working a lot on my introspection and I see that I have a lot of disqualifications but that helps me to realize that there is a lot to work on.

Without your blessings, our life does not make any sense. Without your presence in our life is like being dead in life.

HpS - ASA --- Please, please, write with a little news from now and then. Just one letter every two months in like going to the Doctor for your body every two months, no?    You do have a lot of excuses with your body, but in the ultimate issue, 16-4 is something directly between you and Krsna, God, creator and maintainer of all bodies. Prabhupada was not chanting Japa at the end of his life, no?   He could not even hold his hand up.

Can you fix a certain number of rounds per day until the next Ekadasi and then make your report here of the result????   Our respects to your Mother, Sister et al.

4p ok. 16 rounds I complete them but I NEED TO WORK in order to chant enthusiastic rounds. And also I need to read more.

HpS - ASA -- Do a little bit here and there regularly.  Get study partners.

Answering your question about my Sankirtan... to add more passion etc.... I have some ideas but I prefer to discuss them in person with U on December. Whenever I say things in advance sometimes those things do not developed or not end in success. I try not to say so much about my life to others just U and with one witness.

I was extremely happy lately participating in the last festivals leading 3 abhisheks in one week. Associating with devotees... very nice. I try to be connected with temple activities. 

From one year I was being training about gem therapy.  I am offering that  theraphy nowadays. Last thursday I was interviewed by Holistica TV.  I feel good helping others. Also I gave to my  interviewer one perfeccion del yoga. Then she wanted to visit chosik. My communication with others is much better.

ASA - I had bad allergies and someone suggested a pearl. so one friendly jeweler put a pearl on a silver wire and attached it on our Japa beads, so every round we touched it, meditated on it. Our allergy droppes 75% that year.

Yesterday we have the Sradha ceremony for Jagajivan d. I read the letter that U post in the blog about him. Everybody appreciate your words.

HpS - He was very nice person. He was rough and thick headed at times, as far as we saw him, but he would not be a Ksatriya, GBC Regional Secretarym, unless he had some qualities like that. We see how we will miss his association (for a while). It is like expecting one to be a woman and not have a soft heart.

Last but not least... Lately I was dating one guy. But nothing happened. we do not even hold hands... Now I can tell when someone's intentions are not good. So I naturally drift apart. I will always tell U everything Gurudeva

HpS - In India, even in the modern world, I think no girl will 'hold hands' with a boy until here wedding day. Always associate with opposite sex with some advice from your grown up Godbrothers. One time we asked Gaura-gadadhara Devi Dasi with Laksmana Das there, if it was better to have a husband or a brother. She smiled and thought about it and smiled again and said a....   Brother.

It is all going to be over very quickly. Don't plan you life in the Transit Lounge.
