We missed hearing from you Saturday Maharaj but stuff happens. I am looking forward to your visit coming up here soon and no electronic technical difficulties :). We pray that Krishna will help you fully recover so that you may serve Srila Prabhupada to your full desire. I have been speaking to Srinivasacharya Prabhu and he has been able to forward info that you will be here in Boise in the next couple months. So I am just working on my 16/4's, morning program, being patient and enthusiastic. Some exciting stuff going on here in Boise! I heard Bada Hari Prabhu say once that Srila Prabhupada said that if you want to leave some place but know there is nowhere to go then you are starting to make some advancement. Haha

Srivivas Prabhu was speaking to our family last week about the BGIS in Vrindavan and how his nephew goes to school there. Janardan has been speaking about going there ever since. He really wants to go to school there. A couple days ago he was telling his school counselor that he was probably moving to India to go to school and the teacher asked what his faith was. Janardan told him Hare Krishna's and invited him to the temple Sunday. His teacher came to Sunday feast! Then each day when I come home from work he asks if his mother and I have decided yet if he can go to BGIS. We weren't sure about paying for the whole thing with tuition and flights however I got a call from my lawyer Friday and he closed a claim from a car accident I got into 3 years ago and the amount we will receive will more then cover the cost of tuition and flights. I think this might be Krishna's arrangement for Janardan?

HpS - AGTSP paoho. The primary schools are so risky that I would not send him that far away. What about Houston? Is he too old? Other than that it is local efforts. Have programs for the kids on Sunday and during the week. If they want they will get the vision of Krsna with His flute in Vrndavana.

Srivnivas and Mother Sundari Radhaka think Janardan should go. Anantarupa says it seems like Krishna wants Janardan to go considering the blessing of Laxmi at the time when we are considering this. Alicia of course is hesitant to send her son all away across the world to school, she is worried if its the right thing to do. I spoke with the BGIS principal and he was very easy to work with and is willing to work with us on the registration, interview process and Janardan finishing 6th grade here in the US and then going there for 7th. Guru Maharaj please instruct us. Do you think we should send Janardan to BGIS in Vrindavan? I know by following your instructions it will please Srila Prabhupada and Krishna. Please help us with this decision.

HpS - I don't know exactly what is BGIS in Vrndavana. I guess it is the Gurukula. They moved out of the Temple and are now on the road to Mathura. Yes, seventh grade is too old for Houston. Just too risky. Being 10,000 miles away from home in a school where the teacher has to be like a father and mother to him! I hear of criticisms of the school. That is natural. It is Kali yuga, but at such a distance and for one who has never lived in an Ashrama before. See what is happening in the USA: I know kids who have gone to ISKCON Gita camps for two weeks in the USA and liked it.

Janardan is 12 years old now. He is chanting 5 rounds each day, he changes our Nitai-Guaranga's water each day and offers them incense. He is very attracted to Diety worship. Not long after we moved here to Boise 5 months ago he asked how he could be up on the altar and offer arati to Sri Sri Radha-Bunkabihari. He often at arati stands right against the altar and is very focused on the arati ceremony. He has been going to boy scouts for a few months now and really enjoys it. I attached a photo of him in his scout uniform, I thought you might like it. Also a photo of Nitai-Guaranga!

Please bless me Guru Maharaj so that my chanting will be more pleasing to Krsna and Srila Prabhupada. And that I may make advancement in serving yours and their lotus feet. Also please bless Janardan that his love for Krishna will grow.

HpSD - ASA ---- Gracias por su carta. Solo canta tanto como puedas. El Señor Caitanya dice que esta es la religión de esta época. Obtenga tanta asociación como sea posible de los devotos en Cusco y otros lugares. Lee los libros de Srila Prabhupada. Entonces saborearás el canto y llegarás al estándar para la iniciación formal.

I hope you are in better health

I would like to inform you the itinerary of my travel to the USA. I have bought a ticket in Interjet from Lima to Dallas. The day of depart is February 1st at 6:30 AM. I arrive to Mexico at 12:00 PM. My flight to Dallas is at 18:30 PM. So, I don't know if I could visit the devotees or do a mini tour in Mexico city. Would you recommend it? Or it's better to stay at the airport?

HpS - AGTSP... Paoho. Sorry slow to answer. If you can contact the devotees it would be nice to associate with them. Abhirama Das has telephone of Astasakhi Devi Dasi, Lalita-gopi Devi Dasi et al!

Then, I arrive to Dallas at 21:15 PM. I will stay in the residence of the University of North Texas in Denton (1 hour from Dallas) until February 23rd. After that date, I'm planning to stay 2 weeks more in Dallas, but I don't have any accommodation. I want to visit the Radha Kalachandji temple and the gurukulas (if there are). So, please I would like to ask you if you know a place where I can stay until March 11th.

Because of you, I begin to understand Srila Prabhupada's books. I remember hearing your classes for the first time and feeling how everything became to have sense and depth meaning.

Because of your effort to keep us busy in Krishna consciousness, to constantly inspire us, to be so exemplary and transparent is reason that I can make some advance in spiritual life.

Your words guide me through this vast philosophy, in which I would be lost if it weren't for the perspective you show us.

The power of your realizations give strength to my faith.

HpS - AGTSP paoho We have only been able to make any physical or intellectual progress because Srila Prabhupada keeps pulling us! Personally we are lazy, greed, selfish, cruel! AGTSP!!! By his mercy we can hope to make progress and become and angel again!

You are a living proof that this process is genuine and works. Your unconditional love, your patience and generosity feed my bhakti creeper, which struggles to grow in the middle of so many weeds.

I want to offer you my existence, I want to leave all selfishness, illusion and obstacles to be a useful particle in this great Sankirtan movement.

Gracias a usted es que pude comenzar a entender los libros de Srila Prabhupada. Recuerdo escuchar sus primeras clases y sentir como todo cobraba sentido y mayor profundidad. 

Gracias a su esfuerzo en mantenernos ocupados, en constantemente inspirarnos, en ser tan ejemplar y transparente, que yo puedo hacer algún avance. 

Sus palabras me van guiando en medio de esta filosofía tan vasta, en la cual estaría perdida si no fuera por la perspectiva que usted nos muestra. 

La potencia de sus realizaciones fortalecen mi fe.

Usted es la prueba viviente de que este proceso es genuino y funciona. Su amor incondicional, su paciencia y generosidad alimentan mi planta del bhakti, que lucha por crecer en medio de tantas malas hierbas.

Durante FMP usted dijo “Escuche una clase de Prabhupada y haga un reporte en el blog”. Aquí mi reporte:

Yo escuche la clase dada por Srila Prabhupada el 3 de diciembre de 1973 en Los Ángeles sobre el SB 1.15.24 https://youtu.be/JE0O4Zb-lAA

“En realidad, todo esto se debe a la voluntad suprema del Señor, la Personalidad de Dios. A veces las personas se matan entre sí, y otras veces se protegen entre sí”

Por supuesto, el contenido de la clase es sumamente actual, considerando que últimamente se ha hablado mucho sobre una posible guerra, sobre los animales sufrientes de Australia y diversos hechos violentos en el mundo… En esta clase, Srila Prabhupada explica el origen de la guerra… ¿Qué causa estas miserias? Y ¿Cómo salvarnos de ellas?...

HpS - Y tambien entre nosotros mismos en el movimiento Hare Krsna!

Srila Prabhupada menciona que Las acciones se juzgan con base al placer o disgusto del Señor. Siempre debemos dejar guiar nuestras acciones por el placer del Señor.

Algunas veces creemos que estamos actuando de manera “Independiente” pero no es así, estamos siendo movidos por las modalidades de la naturaleza material y en aras de complacer nuestros sentidos estamos realizando innumerables actividades impías… por tanto nos vemos forzados a recibir los resultados de esas actividades.

Sri Krsna no es parcial con nadie. Él simplemente está permitiendo que se cumplan las leyes. Por eso, algunas veces, por la misericordia de Krsna nos protegemos o nos atacamos entre nosotros.

Krsna es ecuánime con todos, Él no es parcial con nadie…. “No permite que a una persona la maten y a otra la recompensen con miles de dólares. ¡No! Nosotros con nuestras propias actividades somos quienes creamos esa situación.

Si estamos lastimando o matando a alguna entidad viviente, en algún momento ella nos atacara a nosotros… es la ley. Y ya que Sri Krsna es imparcial con todos, “Por su voluntad”, permite que ocurra la oportunidad de saldar esa deuda. “Esta persona te mato en otra vida, ahora se te da la oportunidad para que tu lo hagas, y esta otra persona te protegió, ahora tu protégele a él”… Eso es simplemente igualdad ante la justicia.

Así que sufrimos por nuestras propias actividades, por lo tanto nuestro deber es tratar de entender la voluntad de Dios… ¿Cuál es la voluntad de Dios? Krsna dice: “Abandona todas las ocupaciones y entrégate a Mí”.  Nuestro verdadero deber prescrito es servir al Señor Supremo, ya que estamos hechos para servir, por eso “simplemente” debemos enfocar nuestro servicio a Krsna y seremos felices.

HpS - Gracias!!! Nuestra situacion es resultado de nuestras propios acciones. Castigado por fuertes es algo merecemos, pero.... podemos luchar adjustar, correct, corregir, la situacion!!
