Krsna is the darling of Vrndavan, a place all lost from time. Were every step is dancing and all the speeches rhyme. [Most of the thyme!]. Real sublime.        If He smile and claps His hands to see the Puris puff. If He likes to fight with boy-friends and play both rough and tough.   Then that was a really good time. That's a Happy New Year.

Goloka is always getting better. Its like a Disneyland of the spiritual world that is not quite yet done. Newer and newer features are being added.
We are being added!

On your most auspicious Vyasapuja day, it is very heart warming to think of your grace and greatness.

    HpS - AGTSP!  Paoho. It is very kind of you to see much of any worth in us.

This last year has been quite stressful in Boise. The year before we were served with condemnation notice on the land next to the temple by the University- A great example of - Samsara Davanala lidha loka; out of the blue (sky) came this notice that we should hand over the land to the University. As we struggled finding a lawyer etc. you called us in your caring mood wanting to know how are things in Boise. And I recounted to you what was happening and wanted to know why Bankebihari was doing this to us. You listened very patiently and jovially said, Oh, Bankebihari is playing Monopoly. Everything will be alright.

At that time, it did  not appear to me that you realized the severity of the situation and you were just making light of the situation. But over time that was exactly what Bankebihari was doing. You as one of His confidential servants knew that.

   HpS - I think that I was just trying to offer some positive attitude to see things. Not any secret knowledge, but how could He not do well for those who sacrifice so much for Him and of course He is a GREAT joker!

It was just that I was having a hard time believing it - Why would He play Monopoly at the expense of a neophyte devotee's peace of mind?

HpS - Maybe because He does not want a "piece" of your mind, but He wants the whole thing. Krsna was stealing peoples yogurt. He's stealing your dirt.

Over the course of time you would call just when I would be totally confused and depressed, to comfort me. Those calls were very soothing - tranaya  karunya ghana ghanatvam...

In the dry desert of Southwest Idaho, you have literally been bringing the clouds of mercy and  I am very thankful to you and feel very fortunate for the constant care you have taken care of us.

Maharaja, please bless us on this auspicious Vyasa Puja day of your that we continue to take shelter of exalted Vaishnavas like yourself and get a few drops of mercy from  you.

What is the biggest room in the world?
The room for self-improvement.

Has been a pretty good Ekadasi. We are developing many nice habits. We maybe took a little bit too much banana prasadam a little bit to early. Letters answered to three days ago.

Finished our Bhakti Vaibhava SB 6.4 CSG notes and will ship tommorrow to Upendra and Nama.

Here we are on our desk by the window. We sit on top of the desk and our feet don't swell up. People think we are weird. You have your problems, we have ours. People think we are weird. People tell us that, "You know Hanumat Swami, at first I couldn't relate to you. I thought you were weird, but now I begin to see that you're weird, but it's kind of normal. Some people are weird, but they have a solid reason for it".

It's 4.36PM. The Sun just set behind the Shell Oil gas station and the cars are rushing and shushing on their way to get home. We feel bad. You probably feel bad too. Headache, tooth-ache, back-ache, stomach ache, low energy leading to depressive thoughts (eg. You are a loser. You have done nothing for anybody. You have nothing to show for your life!).

It's amazing how funny the mind can be.

Without Prabhupada, a bona-fide Guru, it's a fact that our lives would be useless. We get temporary satisfaction from watching football games with friends or going to the beach, but it is not like the intelligent understanding of what is worth getting in this current situation. We are half awake. Ooooooo!    So we don't know 100% what is the right thing to do, but we are right 1/2 (78%??) of the time, and that of course brings us to wake up more and more. Living in this material world is like driving Krsna to a party with Him in the front seat next to you in the rain. You have to be a little careful because of the rain and other drivers, but it doesn't require all your intelligence. Most of your attention is on the converstation that Krsna is having with Sridham.

Got a lot of work done, today. It was a lot of little stuff, so unless we tweet it all, it doesn't show up as much.
Eg.

• Worked on our SB PPTX for Friday.
• Scanned second 1/4 of Tpp-Cb16, and hope to post it tomorrow.
• Ironed our clothes (15 minutes daily).
• Read Shonu Shamdasini
• Researched Journey to the West in Spanish (See it on the Spanish Wikipedia. There is a Spanish version!)
• Talked with Tom and Dr. Samaresha and Aja and Sri Hari Das in India. . .

Now - 4.45PM. We will chant Gayatir sandhya and then drive over to Office Depot to see if they can give a free tune-up to our computer, go to Kroger's to buy milk and then to NGD's ashrama for walking and talking!

             S P !     paoho..... 6.06PM. We usually answer the mail this time. Sundown is 4.30PM.  Our back and posterior ache from sitting. Our eyes are failing. We didn't have time for proper Gayatri. Ha!   Ha!   Hare!  But, we are doing pretty well. If we consider ourselves real mercy cases and that Krsna doesn't expect a lot from us and we try to do what tasks He wants first, first, then we are doing O.K.

So much tendency to enjoy devotional sevice, no? Enjoy Prasada as sense gratification, enjoy honor, especially from the opposite sex, enjoy our good image of ourselves as beautiful, artistic, sympathetic, strong . . . 

But how much are we enjoying being appreciated by KRSNA. He's a wonderful person!

Maya devi was very intoxicated, telling everybody, that Krsna liked Her, Aghasura demon!!!
"What a demon!  You've never done anything like that before!"

"Look, look! Krsna likes my demon!"
Is Krsna enjoying us? Is Krsna enjoying our death. Every moment is dying and nothing more. So, can we do it for Krsna? For His applause with His friends.
 

Mails caught up to three days ago.

Had long talk with Abhirama Das, Peru, after long time.
Also, telephone conference with Rama-giridhari Das and Peru and India and Spain translating team for the Kids Sanskrit manual.

Reviewed South America tickets, bought ticket for Florida back to Nashville on the 11th February.

[Keep smelling bananas in our room}   Which is bizaare?   Hmmmm!

O.K. Little more housekeeping.

We got up at Midnight. Got our rounds done etc. then about 3.30 AM we just COLLAPSED.  Ahhhh!  Our liver was just exhausted. Too much intellectual work. All the ketone-bodies [energy cells] finished. Now we are resting. Doing light work. Have Lord Nrsmha deva's and your association.
