Delta's Answer

8 years, 2 months ago by hps in Calendar Development

Hare Krsna! Hare Rama!

It took almost one month for the answer from Delta, and it seems that they have a poorly paid employee who reads many letters like ours daily and then picks a form letter and fills in some spaces in the letter with extracts from the complaint letter and then gives a token compensation of Sky Miles and goes on to the next letter. It is actually funny, crazy! How can people exist like this? Of course, they can't. Marsha does this out of fear of death and starvation and humiliation and abandonment and drowns her sorrows in some form of intoxication.

We would say that the best preaching strategy in these situations is the one that it appears Prahlad Maharaja adopted when preaching to his father: Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (7.5.30) and the few accompanying texts. Apparently he did not think his father would accept his comments, but at least he heard the truth and at some point it would have an effect.

In Vrndavana Dhama only Krsna and Balarama kill demons. Everyone else just calls, "Hare Krsna! Hare Rama!". . . unless K/B empower us to kill demons.

                  Whhooooosh@ Bang! Gronk!!! SMashHH!

Dear Dr. Robinson,

RE: Case Number 22345393

Thanks for your email letting us know about your scheduled trip from IAH with Air France. I'm really sorry your flight was delayed. I realize how frustrating it was to be rerouted to travel with KLM via Amsterdam, and because you had to wait so long in line when you arrived, you missed your connection with Jet Airways to Delhi and ended up spending the night at the airport. It's also disappointing to hear that you didn't get the care you were expecting when you were delayed.

I will be sure to forward your concerns on to our Airport Customer Service Leadership Team, so they can consider your experience when making needed changes to improve our service.

Bonus Miles
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but we're unable to offer a complimentary upgrade or ticket as you've requested. As a goodwill gesture, I’m adding 20,000 bonus miles to your SkyMiles account. They should be transferred into your account within three business days.

We love that you're a SkyMiles member. We will do our best to serve you well on your next flight with us.

Regards,

Marsha Smith

Were came in to IAH from Mexico on UA1025. The whole trip from Mexico to Delhi should have taken 24-hours. It took 68-hours. We were routed five times and had to pass two nights in benches in airports. In IAH Delta wrote us over to KLM. KLM gave us IAH boarding pass but said to to KLM counter in Amsterdam for Delhi boarding pass. We did. KLM left IAH two hours late and were had to wait in line at Amsterdam transfer desk for two hours. When we got to desk they said that we had missed the flight and would have to Peru for a new ticket. We explained that it was there delay. They waived the new cost but would not give room for the night. After will night in the airport we fought for our new boarding pass, now with Jet Airways. Got it but art the gate they rebooked us on a flight to Mumbai with connection to Delhi. Connection to Delhi was cancelled and rebooked for a flight six hours later. We're like 70-years old. We had symptoms of a attack by the time this was over. We are here in India to lecture at several universities. We're monks for 40-years and can find happiness and value in any situation. In the sake of fair play for the faults of KLM and Jet can you upgrade us to First or Business classed on the way back. Thank you.

Urgent: report academic sankirtana in Perú

Hare Krishna Gurudeva, please accept my humble obeisances.

Next, is a preview of the ´academic sankirtana´ for June of this year:

I.- This year, the activity is a Little smaller than last year´s, the reason being that we are going to establish-starting in March-the Organizing Committee, and the International committee of Honor for the mega-event, by June of 2018: ART AND THE SACRED; that is our priority. For this year there is no consensus with Miguel Polo, Hector Bejar, Victor Krebs and others as far as the name of the event being: International Symposium II “Psychology and the Sacred”, Bridges between East and West, Lima Peru.

HpS - ASA - AGTSP paoho. Thank you so much for letting us join in these programs!

II.- Dates: From June 26th to the 29th, 2017.

HpS - We can start to fix dates in Bolivia (Ecuador), Chile doing coordinated events!

III.- This year we are going to give emphasis in the implementation of the DIALOGUES with prominent especialists and members of the ´academia´ (These will take place in the mornings and evenings; conferences for the public at large).

Suggestions for topics for the morning dialogues:

  1. The time-factor in the Psychology and the Sacred.
  2. Bhagavata culture and psychology: enlarging the notion of the Sacred.
  3. The Sacred in Psychology VS. The psychology in the Sacred.

ASA - Other topic: What is your Cosmology, goal, methods and techniques. What is current activity in your community, how can we join?

Proposed evening program:

II International Symposium “Psychology and the Sacred”

DAY ONE:

First session, Topic: CARTOGRAPHIES OF THE MIND

(Understanding the relationship between Psychology and the Sacred)

1st roundtable meeting

Ravi Gupta

Darrol Bryant

ASA - They are coming???!

2nd roundtable meeting

Miembro de la comunidad Sufi

Ramón Mujica Pinilla

(Acting upon that relationship: Paradigms, compassion, solidarity, empathy, peace and love)

1st roundtable meeting

HH Hanumatpresaka Swami

Víctor Krebs: Solidarity and empathy

2nd roundtable meeting

Profesor de la UARM

Maestro cuzqueño

Jean mabid

AND DAY THREE:

Third sesión, Topic: DIAGNOSIS OF A SPIRITUALITY IN CRISIS (It´s self relationship in the actual world)

roundtable meeting:

Miguel Polo

Héctor Bejar

Final reflections With guest speakers.

Please, anybody who may want to give their suggestions, write to [email protected]. Thank you very much. Hare Krishna!!

ASA - It seems very weak unless the speakers have lots of chance to develop their dialog on the topics before the public presentations in June!

Of course, we have been very busy during this travel, but it is certainly related! We should also be able to include a very strong presentation from Indians in the above events, and the individual dialogs from all the contacts we are making. Also, we can work on the content of the next Solaris.
We hope to have more of a report in the next few days!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hare Krishna respetado Gurudeva pfanhr, TLGASP!! TLGAHpS!!

3. Lo Sagrado en la Psicología Vs La Psicología en lo Sagrado.

Propuesta de Programa para las noches:

II Simposio Internacional "La Psicología y lo Sagrado"

ABC Saturday Morning Workshop. . .

.... has now become a Sunday morning Workshop with the Boise Temple as announced below:

Hare Krishna Prabhus and Matajis:

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada

Thanks to Hanuman Swami's efforts and desire that New Biharvan devotees associate together and review Srimad Bhagavatam at least once a week, some of us have agreed to meet at 11:15 AM on Sundays to do the same. This will change the Sunday feast schedule slightly and as Hanuman Swami had pointed out it will in fact the feast even more meaningful and joyous. Please see the new schedule below and join us for some nice sangha:

Sunday feast schedule:
11:00 AM Srila Prabhupada Guru Puja and kirtan
11:15 AM Srimad Bhagavatam review - 30 minutes
11:45 AM Sunday Feast class (BG or other topical Krishna Katha)
12:30 PM AArti and Nrsimha Prayers
    1:00 PM Announcements
    1:15 PM Feast

The plan is to take turns (by initiated devotees) to do Guru Puja, kirtan, SB review and the feast lecture.

Murari Prabhu and Mother Kamagyatri will make sure that Guru Puja aarti plate etc. is ready and will be back up for doing the Guru Puja. Cleanup of the plate after the AArti will be done by whoever is doing the AArti. For Guru Puja, review, kirtan and feast lecture proper devotee attire is required

For this coming Sunday the 29th, I am proposing:

Srinivas Prabhu to do the Guru Puja

Anantarupa das to do the SB review. I would like to start the review and lead the discussion with SB from the beginning 1.1.1 - thru 1.1.5.

Mother Acyuta to give the feast lecture.

Krishna is very happy when devotees get together, specially when it is the desire of His dear devotees such as HH Hanuman Swami; please join us. Also feel free to invite others; the invitees can try out but ultimately they should be willing to come regularly. The sangha (until 11:45) is for regular attendance of like minded devotees with desire to taste SB nectar and association of devotees. Please let me know if you plan to attend
