I read that you are looking for artists in Spain... for what do you need them? Maybe I can do something?

HpS - ASA -- AGTSP!      Thank you for your letter. We are participating in this symposium on 'Art and the Sacred'. We want to interview people for our magazine 'Solaris' on this topic.

Do you want to write for Solaris?

Do you know any artists, poets, cartoonists we can interview when we are in Spain 30 August to 11 September?

Three good topics are:

1. With what community do you identify yourself.

2. What is the definition of Sacred in that community.

3. How does that community help you to realize and communicate the Sacred through Art?

ASA - BG 15.15  -  God is very serious about reaizing our release from ignorance. In helping us execute our service. He is very fine person. He is always remember us. Especially if we are really trying to do good.

[i]  65 % brahmin 25 % ksahtriya   [ii] intellectual being [iii] just a householder [grah-medhi]  [iv] just a soul trying to reach god..

we dont who we are, our definition  depends on differet mode we are in... so we will just write what all we like... here goes the list

i. like to hear SB and ask question {not just sit in crowded class}
ii. like to watch Sita Ram Laxman Hanuman
iii. Dreams of becoming a king or guide of king, then implement policies of common religious practices and high moral standards
iv. read about multiple topics, try to integrate them
v. teach students about life not just subject
vi. interact with faculties of various discipline and show them either one follows evolutionist persepctive or creationist perspective.
vii. like to play chess  & cricket
viii. are mesmiresed by shaolin kung fu austerties( blowout candle with punch)
viii. like solatire not loneliness
ix. like to improve ourself
x. like fast driving , on time completion of job.
xi. like to talk to individuals and analyze their conditions to help them and master applied concepts of astrology,  ayurved, sociology
xii. like to take orders of advanced people, and deliver them physical service.
xiii. want to have lot of kids (boys)(if possible) and train them, with all we have.

Tom Brown - ASA --- We are suffering from acute exhaustion. Doctor says to rest for two weeks and do nothing but what strikes our fancy. Of course, our fancy is to finish 16-rounds with our last puff of energy.

Then what happens when we die?

We still continue with a body, even just mental body, body of thoughts, ideas, memories, understandings.

All we can suggest is just fix some number of round and do it under the authority of Srila Prabhupada.

Announce your standard and the result here eg. I plan to chant one round each Janmastami even if I die until 2024  or 4-rounds a day until August 31st.

Arrrgh!!!

AGTSP.   TB here!!     Brother Ass is really falling apart.   Soon we will have Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson's disease. Srila Prabhupada writes, maybe in the first cantos, that modern people do not know the horrors that await them in old age from engaging in immature sex. Basically a boy should remain celibate until 25 years old. Then his full male nervous system is developed.

We can see that by engaging in Bhaki yoga even at a late age it has helped us enormously compared to our contemporaries. Yet the damage is done from early years of illicit activiites.

    Dance on fire until the end. Music is your only friend.

This seems like essential advice.

Can we "dance" fast enough in Sri Krsna Sankirtan to keep these old age horrors in check?

SKS is all pervasive.   When we iron our cloth each morning we stand on one foot and chant etc. It is very enlivening. You can dance while you are sitting and teaching in the class room.

How we live determines how we will be born.

HpS - Hare Krsna. Tres dias pasado... Espero esta paso es muy bueno para mejorando servicio de todos a Srila Prabhupada!   Puede leer SB 7.5.23-24, Arcanam. Alla Srila Prabhupada dice, "Los devotos gṛhasthas, sin embargo, suelen estar dedicados a actividades materiales; por esa razón, si no se ocupan en la adoración de la Deidad, su caída está prácticamente garantizada."

It works vary well. being self taught in most things it takes me awhile, usuall by trial and error, mostly by error.

Yes it's easy to glorify the messenger, but the true glories come from the source his divine grace srila Prabhupada.

I live in Seattle,and am a vary common demon.

When not being a demon my Seva is harinam sankitan, usual every Saturday 12pm to 230pm, then to university district where I join Hari valise [vilas].who just started a free pasadam food truck, also with harinam and book distribution. we served 160 meals last Saturday,which is good since it's summer break. a huge homeless problem here.

Hari valise has a solution to the homeless problem and has two farms to provide himsa milk, and varnashrum, don't have reliable transportation and all the time, so not able to help out much.

Big anandamala festival this July 28,29. Big turnout.

The devotees are like a desire trees in Seattle they just keep giving and giving, but of course I don't appreciate them.
