We had a hypothesis based upon our reading of the Maha-bharata. that Vaikuntha (Goloka) is understood by some to be a part of Svarga. They look up to Svarga, heaven, and see Vaikuntha as another heavenly realm. Christian friends have that same conception of heaven and Jesus loka.

Then NgD showed us this intesting citation from SB 10.6.37-38

"...Pūtanā was immediately promoted to Vaikuṇṭhaloka, which is also sometimes described as Svarga. The Svarga mentioned in this verse is not the material heavenly planet, but the transcendental world..."

From intuition, speculation, remembrance, we may have a hypothesis, then we read with intention.
