Thank you Gurudeva for your reply to my last letter, it was a very precise answer! 🙏

I meant to write you again a long time ago, but I could not find the right time to do it..

Maybe for my mind this moment is not appropriate either, but if I wait for the "right moment" I am going to take too long to write....so I do it now!

HpS - AGTSP!!! One man was in his chair, sofa, at the beach reading a book, and he notice another man step into the water at the edge of the ocean with his bathing suit on and stand there, but the first man went back to reading his book. Then after about ten minutes he looked up and saw that the second man was still standing in the water of the ocean up to his ankles and had not gone any more into the water. So the first man, with a smile asked, "Are you going into the water or not?". The second answered very seriously, "Oh, yes, but I am just waiting for the waves to stop before I go in."

Gurudeva, I wanted to sent you a report about our progress in Vedabase service, but I saw that Prahlada Nrsimha prabhu already did it.

HpS - It is worth reporting many times. Such great Sankirtan. He had cards to hand out to people.

Anyway, I want to inform you that we were waiting for books from BBT to continue with importing. The Books are being sent and now we have started with "Teachings of Queen Kunti".

ASA - Oh, yes! Reina Kunti, prima de Isabella!

Also we have already corrected the typing mistakes that LOB had. As I once told you...Importing is usually about copy and paste paragraphs and not necessarily reading the paragraphs completely, but then I noticed that some words in the paragraphs were misspelled. The original versión in Spanish which we were working had these mistakes, so it was necessary to check all the text and re-edit it. We will check the other books to see if there are those errors to correct them.

HpS - French poet: Nobody ever finished a poem, they just stopped working on it. Nobody ever finished correcting all the mistakes in a book, they just stopped looking.

Gurudeva, by your desire we want to complete all the Bhaktivedanta library in Spanish!!

HpS - Then Santa Rosa of Lima will take birth in Lima again to read them!

I like to do this service, I think it fits my nature. I like to do things in detail, writing, editing, etc, and I have time to do it.

On the other hand I want to talk about my sadhana...

Gurudeva, for a long time I have been feeling dissatisfied with my sadhana..

It is like...lately...I have been making the minimum effort to do it. Not trying my best to do my best...as other times I did. I know that I can give more, do it better, but my mind, lazyness...tama guna?? are like a constant obstacle....Gurudeva, please...what is the cause of it??

I know that I can give much more to Krishna and I do not do it. I am like a miser who have a 100 dollar bill in my pocket and only gives Krishna two dollars. 😭 Gurudeva, what is the cure for this??

HpS - I do not know. I have the same problem. We have our Karma, which is now being controlled by Radharani not Durga, but still it is there. Now it is being used for our purification and service. So, some times we are in Tama guna and because we are not pure devotees it has some influence. It hurts us!!! We decide to become pure devotees. In the ultimate issue, our Sadhana is a very, very personal relationship with your old friend, Krsna, and how we are being His friends or not.

I wanted to talk to you about one more topic but I better leave it for the next letter..

Please, forgive me if I have been a little complaining in this letter..😥

HpS - Thank you so much for your letter. Many subtle things in spiritual life. Many are very funny. Is God a joker? You seem to be on the right path. Maybe you were a Monk in your last life. Maybe you were Santa Rosa of Lima. Look at your resources, association, and do the best you can.

We have started preparing for the Gaura Purnima celebrations at The Radha Damodara temple. Vrindavanchandra Das Prabhuji and Jai Bhima Prabhuji are motivating us so nicely. Last week Holi sankirtan party have started . We are sending pics. Jai Bhima Prabhuji has erected a signboard for bird protection at the premises of the temple...lots of migratory birds land at Loktak lake...Siberian geese too!

We crossed Loktak lake with kirtan all along to a village at Karang for a house programme last week!! It was so beautiful and so calm...thank you guru Maharaj

Today is an off day for our office. We are going to Ukhongsaang ,a remote village south of Imphal for house programme after morning SB class. Going to distribute NOI. Kindly give us Your mercy Guru Maharaj.Lots of kirtan...classes...and prasadam!

Tomorrow...we plan for sunday nagar kirtan at Thoubal.

Thank you Guru Maharaj for bringing us closer to Peru! All glories to the special devotees of Peru!

HpS - ASA --- Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. AGTSP! After one week we have a computer. Ours is being repaired. We hope to get some help in posting the long list of devotees who took initiation last time. We will send it when our regular machine returns. This one is like 70% functional. Do think the human body could have manifest by Chance and Natural Selection? Do most mutations produce a DNA with less information or more? Any known mutation producing more information?

What will you be in your next life?

I'm very sorry for my incompetence and lack of respect and sanity.

HpS - ASA --- AGTSP! I say that to Krsna and Srila Prabhupada repeatedly every day!

My mind and maya had been winning the fight for so long, yet somehow this mercy has descended upon me and I once again am feeling the presence of bhakti in my life and a desire to become a serious Devotee. This great wave of love and emotion has been repeatedly sweeping over me, sometimes while chanting japa and sometimes just randomly while thinking about different things (such as Srila Prabhupada, Iskcon, you, Radharani, Balarama) I begin crying so hard and choking up, it feels like a great release and purifying.

HpS - Hmmm. Suspicious. No, intellectual clarity also?

None of my plans seem to work because I am so dysfunctional, I'm not sure where my life went way off course but depression and confusion have taken their toll.

I am working some, currently, and saving up, I have about $5,000 and considering to just move to India or something.

HpS - Haw! Haw! Haw! India is as great a mess as the West in many ways!!!! This is Kali-yuga, no? No "Place" is decent, only the process, no? Hare Krona, Hare Krsna!

I just worked 75 hours this week and very exhausted and unsure about life and this world, but I admire you and wish to somehow be of service to you and your projects. Would I ever be able to stop by Murfreesboro again to visit you?

HpS - Of course! We are almost living under a tree so how can we be particular who else sits under the tree.

I understand if it is not appropriate though. I will try to utilize this blog to keep in touch better, and also I will try to make use of the morning program you broadcast online. I'm so sorry that I don't amount to much. There is some positive news and sankirtana to report. Still over the internet young people contact me and they look up to me, I send them to temples and be their friends, gradually helping them however I can until they get more of a taste and attraction to Bhakti.

HpS - Vartmana pradarshika guru. Nice work if you can get it! You are doing o.k.

Also these famous internet people still keep in touch with me and let me influence them and their message. I can see great things coming. This one youtuber guy has half a million subscribers and he was distributing Krishna pamphlets in packages to fans, from this several new people have joined ashrams.

I wish I had better things to report. Thank you for tolerating me and being a guide in my journey.

HpS - Maybe you should aspire to become Dhananjaya Das rather than Daniel??? Servant of Arjuna!!! Wars are not won by guys who kill 'em all with the first bullet. Wars are won by half competent, wounded, soldiers who don't stop shooting, throwing rocks, until their last resource is finished. Keep on throwing rocks. When the chance comes do as much as you can. When Raja and Tama guns hit try to do as little as possible!

Guru Maharaja we (all Assam devotees, India) are extremely sorry that we cannot communicate and send you any Sadhana report or annual report in time. Please kindly forgive us for that.

Guru Maharaj, we are very fortunate that we get you as our diksha guru and H.H Bhakti Ananda Haridasa Goswami Maharaja (HHBAHG) as our Siksha guru. In your absence, He (HHBAHG) Maharaj guides us as our spiritual father.We get the opportunity to associate with him at least one or two months in a year. We had Srimad Bhagavatam & Chaitanya Charitamrita discourse in the morning session and Bhagavad Gita discourse in the evening during His presence. Under His guidance,we some devotees started to practice Bhakti Shastri Course by studying the Nectar of Instruction and Sri Isopanisad but cannot complete as there is limited time for Maharaj.

HpS - You can read together and discuss. That is very good. Then send comments to the this Blog.

We are getting more letters than we can handle, and many times the questions and comments that people make show that they are not reading the Kapi Dhvaja. So, we put a Priority Code in each copy of the KD and then read and answer first those letters that have this Code in the Subject field.

If we read Srila Prabhupada's books together all good fortune will follow in quantities we cannot imagine. Bhakti Hari Das Swami, Ki Jai!

This is your mercy that we successfully celebrated the very auspicious Vyasa puja of Guru maharaj with the assemble of around 60 devotees... The Mahaprasadam was also very nice..

Guru maharaj, we pray and seek your kind and favourable mercy so that we can advance in our spiritual life and can strictly follow your instructions..

Here is the current suggested Calendar.

Arrive Thursday, lunch and chat. BSU 6-9PM "Meditation, India and Jung"; SB class Friday morning, Home program for lunch and Temple Class at night; Saturday morning SB Temple with Diksa for Nathan; Srinivasa Das TLC group at 1PM; Evening Program light, maybe with Jyada-nrsmha Das and group. Sunday early to Seattle. See any problems or miss anything? Of course, we can meet with everyone here and there.

These visits are short because we are going to be leaving our body soon and hoping devoees will follow us more and we go to them less.
