Had a bit of an emergency at my residence here this evening. Someone drove their vehicle on to our house perimeter wall and broke the water line. There are no shops like Home Depot here. So, I had to run around looking for a shop where I can find PVC pipe and all the necessary parts and tools to fix the broken pipe...

We have the biggest temple festival of our state. The festival kind of started today. The actual festival is on 19th and 20th...

Estamos felices ante la posibilidad de que pueda volver a España; eso significa que su salud es "aceptable". Estaremos muy contentos de poder hacer algún servicio para que su estancia sea agradable. También, si viene en periodo universitario y quiere, podríamos mirar algo con Mónica (directora del Dpto de Antropología de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Nosotros seguimos con nuestra rutina tratando de volvernos buenos devotos: Cuidando alma, mente y cuerpo. Sat Sanga y alguna visita esporádica al templo de Madrid y NVM.

También estamos estudiando BVB con el profesor Yadunandana Maharaja. Ya hemos terminado los dos primeros cantos y estamos en el tercero. Es muy buena la asociación y las perspectivas que salen en un grupo heterogéneo de unos 18 y un profesor altamente cualificado. Estamos felices por esta facilidad que nos da Krsna.

We continue with our routine trying to become good devotees: Taking care of soul, mind and body. Sat Sanga and some sporadic visits to the Madrid temple and NVM.

We are also studying BVB with Professor Yadunandana Maharaja. We have already finished the first two Cantos and we are on the third. The association and perspectives that emerge in a heterogeneous group of about 18 and a highly qualified teacher are very good. We are happy for this facility that Krsna gives us.

HpS - Vrndavana Das Thakura said that his only desire was to study Srimad Bhagavatam life after life with Lord Nityananda as his teacher.

Some else we know is also in the group!!??

However, you are very much self dependent. Subhadra wants us to move to Nashville area to fulfill your desire to develop NIOS campus. NGD Prabhu ji and devotees here are already very dedicated and fired up.

It is going to be a wonderful project.

Maharaja you are planning to visit Madrid and India between Sept 10 to Dec 10 and return to Boro.

We pray to Lord Krishna to have you longer so that we may develop the project when you are present on the planet.

HpS - It has, agtSP, been wonderful sharing Asrama space with you during las week. Very wonderful. You all are wonderful workers, and I feel that we are doing so much work on making a common vision of NIOS and any Campus, and implementing so many practical things already.

Just bought the JFK/Madrid/JFK ticket, but no, no, no, plan to got to India during our stay in Spain, but is possible, possible, possible if practical!

Just to inform you that Jagannatha Swami of Chosica, the old brahmacari, needs to contact you. It turns out that he believes that he is nearing the end of his life, which is what I suspect, and he wants to have a quick chat with you before it's too late.

He is living in the house of Om purnam prabhu (the devotee who distributes yogurt prasadam) who generously has him accommodated in his house.

Om purnam prabhu has in mind the project of making a home for elderly devotees. ISKCON needs to be a more complete institution and take care of the devotees. We are a young institution, certainly, but we have to gradually implement help for devotees who do full-time service. Have insurance and things like that.

Well, we'll see what happens in the future.

There are initiatives in this regard but a lot of cooperation is needed among the devotees, because the administration itself has many problems on its hands.
