How are you?

HpS - AgtSP! Paoho... We are better than ever. We are killing ourselves for Krsna. The Kapi Dhvaja gives the fortnightly report. Sri Krsna Sankirtana, Ki Jai!

Our sadhana is good. Reading SB and worshipping deities every day. Finishing all our rounds before morning classes is still a challenge for me. I leave my house by 6 am to go to work. But one way or another I end up chanting them.

HpS - The army is alive!

Things at school are pretty good. I love learning and sharing with others.

We are working on the Jung x Bh. Siddhanta symposium for end of Aug - start September. We read the abstract by Lalita gopis Devi Dasi and posted the following comments on the Whatsapp group for the participants.

"[4:07 PM, 8/15/2022] Hp Swami: We opened in Microsoft XML the article by Prof. Dolores Chaves and found it an extremely profitable reading and commentary adventure. Please, others read and comment.  We finished with this comment "HpS - Wonderful abstract. We feel that it has been well worth our time reading this. We feel it relates well to the ambitions discussed in the other papers. We hope as a group we can draw the Philemon Foundation and ISKCON members into this illumination of BSS and CGJ for the benefit of modern humanity."    Except for Dr. R. M. Gupta's short comments, we only see our comments in this Group. 🙂  Is that because everyone feels our comments so definitive that no further words are possible?  🤣

Was refreshing to watch it. Trivikrama Swami first connected us with Prof. Petersen. Since then we have seen clips of other videos of his. Also, we researched his biography.

He likes Jung.

He has some very compatible ideas with the Bhagavata, no?

He was on a strictly meat diet for some time?

In the podcast he talks about his fathers shooting animals with bullets in an unconcerned fashion!

We have seen others like him. For example, Jung who have some good comprehensions of the Bhagavata cosmology, but they don't have the scientific language or structure that the Bhagavata gives.

It is frustrating because it seems they could catch it all very quickly and profoundly and teach it effectively.

They are big people so hard to approach them.

What do you think?

Our idea is that the work we are doing now with Hector et al may become poplular enough to attract their attention.

By the mercy of Guru-Govinda, Jayanta Das, Bhaktin Maite, Nitai-gaurasundara Das et al, we just finished talking with Sripad Sashi Prakash Singh, NGD esteemed brother.

He is a Deputy Attorney General for the Central Government of the Republic of India.

Of course, he is also most excellent representative of NIOS in India, and he has enthusiastically agreed to join the Reception for our NIOS/San Marco team when they arrive in Delhi and India.

His personal friend will be announced as the Vice-President of India within a few days.

For us it will be a very heartfelt meeting since we lived through so many intense battles to bring NIOS to where it is.

We hope to hear from ArtD and Director Raul Zeballos about progress, by Krsna's mercy in expanding the population and content of the reception.

Dear Maharaj,

PAMHO AGTSP!

Husband constantly asks for separation since he started talking to his girl friend 2 years ago. We constantly telling him no such thing in our understanding. So the impasse. My struggle is aligning my mind’s vrittis, to accept the Tapasya that comes on this path whether it’s accepting a terrible husband (if krsna’s merciful maybe he’ll become less terrible) or living a single life. 

Lord Balaram invited us to make jewelry for Him. We only meditate on that painting of fruit vendor. We try to give Him all our fruits out of love, and hope He takes care of our life which we are unable to handle now in any way 🙏. He’s the ultimate shelter. Please pray for us that we can in this difficult period not lower Srila Prabhupad’s name with our actions 🙏.

HpS-ASA --- Chant Hare Krsna and be happy. In Kali yuga we all go through these crazy situations, but..... the Holy Names are so nice that we can get immediate relief, for the current moment, for the current day eg Holy Name tells us to eat a peach and have a nap, and large scale adjustments eg. With clear explanation resign from this post or that.

We wrote out in great detail, no, our understanding of marriage etc in general and Kali yuga. Mandodari had a rather difficult marriage.

If husband falls into big moral morass for six years then O.K. to find a new protector/husband and hope he isn't worse. That is third class adjustment but we are Kali yuga people.

Gandhari could have emotionally left Dhrtarastra alone with his material desires to be King of have his sons be King, but (in the Peter Brook movie) she agreed to join him and help him with his emotions.

Have a heroic life.
