Hare Krsna maharaja,

Please accept my most humble obeisances and All Glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Today is Sri Nityananda Prabhu's Appearance Day, so we had a nice home program and offering this afternoon at break-fast time. Today will also be our first time going to the Sunday Feast here in Spanish Fork.

I am really glad we were able to meet and that I was able to have your association in Boise while Adrian and I were there! I wish to move to that community one day. All the devotees are sooooo very sweet, it was so humbling to be there. Plus, the children are all so intelligent, I was very impressed with the home schooling program and Emily, the 13 year old girl, going to take college classes! Amazing!

Adrian and I made it back to Springville in one piece, thank Krsna, haha, but there is something that I wanted to ask you about.

My friends in Hawaii, namely Sharon and Taravali, are both devotees in Honolulu, but they recently got into an argument. Sharon is my age and Taravali is 15 years old, but she is quite mature for her age, so we used to all hang around and do service together. Anyway, the facts are that Sharon is engaged to a prabhu, Yashoda DD, but was recently closely associating with our new roommate, Tracy prabhu. Taravali, being friends with Sharon, noticed their association and it agitated her because she thought it wasn't good for Sharon's relationship with Yashoda, and she yelled at Sharon for her actions. Sharon got really upset about it, and Tara apologized, and Sharon told Tara she didn't want to associate with her for several days (which really upset Tara). 

Now, me being friends with the both of them, have heard both sides of the story, but I still don't feel that either of them fully understands the other/ that either of them WANT to understand the other. So I am in a hard position because I spoke with Sharon once about the situation and she took my concern more as criticism. I apologized to her for my approach, but she revealed to my friend that she is upset about it still. Tara is still confused about the situation, too.

Tracy is now living with Adrian and I, so I was speaking with him about it this morning and he revealed that, Vedically, friends don't criticize or instruct one another. Then Adrian spoke up about whether or not you should then just allow your friend to continue acting in a way that was not conducive for their spiritual life. 

So now, I am just asking you to maybe give me a little more spiritual insight into the situation. Should I try to help? Should I forget about the situation and just do my own thing? I don't want to give up either of their association, but I really don't know what is best for me...

HpS - Jaya!    AGTSP      So happy you got back to Utah O.K.    We felt so much anxiety that you two had to do so much austerity to visit Boise.

In general these things cannot be resolved to perfection.     So don't take them too seriously.  Try to have clear relations with people.  NOI Texts 4,5,6 make perfect basis for this.  Avoid the Karmi, Jnana, Yogini aspect of people, make friendship with their devotional aspects and help their innocent aspects.

If they want to take your "good advice" based on Scripture or the statements of pure devotees then you should favor them in correcting their ideas. If not then we should be respectful and let Krsna arrange the situation. Arjuna had to give up his cousins!

In all cases chant rounds, follow principles and don't worry too much about these things. Be happy with them and be sure that Krsna is everybody (including Rebecca's) best friend.

Aun continuo con servicio fijo de los jueves en lavar parafernalias en compañia de su dicipula la Madre Gopi Radha d.d.  que le toca ayudar con la ofrenda de la tarde, estar con sus dicipulos me hace pensar aun mas en usted sintiendo que tengo su asociacion. La semana pasada hubo una platica con la Madre Astasaki d.d. y se pudo hablar de la buena asociación entre devotas, hubo mucho aprendizaje.

Hoy es Ekadasi y lo estamos pasando bien, checo constante el calendario para que no se me pase y hago de todo para que no se olvide a lo largo del dia, su instruccion me ayudo completamente y me hize entender la importancia del Ekadasi, y mi compromiso con Srila Prabhupada y con el que devo hacer con usted. Gurudeva we are very glad to report that we had a very nice program on Sarasvati puja...(NIMSAR's anniversary).

NIMSAR- SATTVA worked together really nice...the program started to time 5pm M Damodara (Sattva) made plays for the children... all the kids had a very good time..... Jaghantha won (Gita govinda's kid)... Parvati also got a good score....

Then we continued with Gaura artik and we connected with U on time... the teleconference was very interesting all there loved the program. M Priya sakhi (Head teacher Kumaras' school), etc

And to top it all off Maha prasadam PIZZAS (we had one for U as You requested) <img alt="" src="http://hps-d6.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/35.gif" title="" />

HpS, LAD and M Rohini are having nice meetings to develop the education curriculum....

The examination for Bhakti Vaibhava is going to be on February 10th in chosica 10 am  for LAD and CMDD 

and for the rest the next day February 11th in New Ksetra dham at 10:00 am 

Nityananda trayodasi is coming , and we are going to have very nice festivals in chosica in the morning and then all the devotees will go to wilson... we are going to take out Gaura Nitay in bus (MIRABUS).. They are going to spread all Their mercy to all the citizens in LIma ...

Then we return to the temple in order to have a nice abhishek, bhoga offering and then concertttttttt Maharatis are going to perform....

We beg for your blessings Gurudeva many many devotees are working really hard in order to please Lord Nityananda ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

Dear  Maharaja, I hope you are in good health, I am writing to give my report,  about 2 months since I write, but really I feel good about you through your instructions. I feel my Sadhana and rounds have improved greatly.

Unfortunately for me this past week, I could not connect  to the Japa-Joe, my health failed  and I had to take care of this body with more emphasis, I had to start with my japa at 5:00,then Sri Gurua stakam, 16 rounds, and this week we were reading  Sri Harinama  Cintamani. We  also make  regular evening program.

Dear  Maharaja,  I wanted to ask, What  is  the appropriate rate  to chant  the Maha mantra?  I  listened to my  brothers  sing it  slowly, others  a  little  faster. I saw that  you mentioned  in your comments "A Fine  chant"  sometimes "A Strong   chant" or"Sing Like  the elephant  walk"...  What is the appropriate rate?  Is that  I chant  out  loud  and a little  fast because if not my  mind  leads me  to  another site... and a dear Maharaja more question, how can we do to participate in the classes of Krishna Book?

HpS - Jaya.   AGTSP   Pamho.    If you are trying like you are trying, the EVERYTHING, that happens to you is Krsna's mercy.  Then you just have to understand why disease or other things come.  There is a reason for everything.

I've heard that Srila Prabhupada said, but not directly from Prabhupada that the Maha-mantra should chanted no less than five and no more than 10 minutes/round.   Like you say, smartavya sata tam visnor, vismarta....   we should chant fast enough or slow enough, sitting or walking, so we can remember Krsna...

I think that all you have to do join the KRSNA book class on Sunday is to go to asa-forum.webex.com   select that class and then if it asks for a password it should be       krsna      .    It is 3.30PM Central Standard Time, Chicago time.   This week is Balarama Returns to Vrndavana!!!

I would like to ask You, how can i understand we have eternal relationship with our spiritual master? Unfortunatelly my spiritual master left the movement in 2007.
Related to this topic i would like to ask a few personal question if You don't mind.

HpS - Jivera svarupa haya nityera Krsna Das...    We are ALL eternal servants of Krsna.   We are like Krsna's fingers.     We always have a relation ship with the complete whole and with each other. In Maya we forget only. You may be a cow and the devotee who served as your Diksa or Siksa or ....  Guru may be some grass in Goloka. O.K. You have an eternal relation ship.    If he was serving you in an eternal service, acting as Diksa guru, an act that is part of Sadhan Bhakti to return to Krsna, then that is an eternal relation.  YOu will always be thankful to him for his effort. Always.    It is a relation ship carried out in the temporary atmospher to obtain eternal results.    Understand?

If you contemplate it for a while it may become clear.   That is our understanding.  ISKCON Bhakta-vrnda Ki Ji!
