Vyasapuja offering

Hare Krsna Hanumatpresaka Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances.  All glories to Srila Prabhupada and to you.

I mentioned in my previous post the vyasapuja ceremony we held for you in Denver.  It was very nice.

I very much appreciated how you connected aspects of japa with the homunculus.  I never knew that japa engages the largest sensory areas of the brain in such a way, and that is a practical scientific way to show that japa helps to fix the mind on the names in many ways.

I think it is very valuable how you connect the intellectual and philosophic with the spiritual to make it practical for some to begin to see the spiritual reality from the sankhya platform, so that they may further see beyond it.

As far as I have seen, you have mastered the art of preaching according to time, place, and circumstance.  At colleges, it is Sankhya only and strictly.  At large gatherings including those new to the movement, you preach to what their hearts can accept.  And to close gatherings of devotees, we may hear the mercy of deeper realizations.

I feel very blessed and eternally lucky to have had your personal association and the chance to serve you.  You are indeed the ocean of mercy, and ecstatic prema emanates from you, that is how it feels being in your presence.  As far as this fallen soul is concerned, you are the savior of mankind.

I do not feel qualified to serve you or to do anything good, but somehow or other, by your mercy, I hope that I can someday help people become Krishna conscious -- starting with myself, by your mercy only. I would not be where I am now or as fixed in my mangala arati and service without your mercy and inspiration, but I can only try to express my gratitude.  I met you when I just began recovering from a traumatic experience where I could not eat and nearly left my body.  I am much better now and hope to continue to improve, that is the mercy of guru.

Hoping to remain at your lotus feet to become less fallen,
Bhakta David II

Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada,

All glories to this most auspicious occasion of your appearance day.

I don’t have many words to offer since, again, I left it to the last minute… Having a child kind of takes up my time and I hope you can understand. But please accept the offering of prasadam I prepared for you today- we speculated on what you might like based on an answer you gave to one god sister:

Vegetarian pizza, spinach salad with lemon dressing, strawberry lemonade, and simply wonderfuls with orange flavouring!

Happy Birthday!

Your aspiring servant,

Rasa-mandali devi dasi

HpS - AGTSP. Lot Lemon!  (Ha Ha Hare!) bUT VERY NICE!

yES, I thnk we can apreciate how busy you are. But I also you got a very nice baby from you husband and Krsna. He (She) can do such wonderful things for Krsna. I feel that to call Srila Prabhupada a "Pure Devotee" or and "Uttama Adhikari" is minimizing his position. Even us block heads are starting to realize the seeds he is planting!!

<big>Dear Gurumaharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. </big>

<big>Congratulations with your Vyasa Puja. It is the very first offering i write to you, after you've shown me your kindness by accepting me on board the ISKCON boat last year as my diksa guru. The mystery of our relationship eludes me still, although i try to understand it. In my foolishness, i looked at you in a material way, i have tried to use you for material gain and i have surely shown you disrespect, all for which i am sorry and offer my apologies. </big>

<big>You mentioned Srila Prabhupada's words that no disciple can ever take all of his Guru's instructions. I am aware of that. I like hearing your classes, they help me feel close to you. Also, i appreciate your way of presenting spiritual life, and how to apply it into my dense darkness. Many new challenges will arise, but i am confident that all will work out.  You certainly are able to shed the Light of the Bhagavata on society's workings and my personal sadhana, and i understand i have my life to perfect this. So i offer you my gratitude. I cherish your comment in this regard, "You already have my mercy, now you have to take it."</big>

<big>Your fortunate disciple,
Raghava Pandita dasa</big>

<big>PS. On days like this i miss being in my Godfamily's association. Your suggestion for visiting Spain certainly was visionary for establishing relationships there. </big>

<big>                HpS - Jaya! RpD.  So nice to hear from you. You can see we are drowning in this South American tour. Just be alert, alert, alert for the chances to preach thatn Krsna sends to you.</big>

Dear Spiritual Master,

Please accept my humble obeisances,

All glories to Srila Prabhupada, all glories to your service to Srila Prabhupada!

This special day of your auspicious appearance is an opportunity to express my gratitude to you. I appreciate so much your example, your steadiness, and your commitment to serve the mission of your spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada. I am grateful because you accept the trouble to take care of ordinary people like me who are full of problems and attachments. This is certainly the proof that the spiritual master is the representative of Krsna, as Krsna is merciful and give shelter to all soul that approach Him. You as well gave me an opportunity to make part of this family, to feel part of this movement, and to feel the shelter and mercy, with no discrimination, of the Lord.

It is certainly very rare to find such genuine movement, and very fortunate to get in touch with a genuine sincere devotee as you are, and even more astonishing that such devotee accept you as his disciple. I have no doubt of your are a bonafide teacher that can enlighten me in regard to the Supreme destination back to Krsna, as you humbly follow  the parampara system. You are a true follower of your spiritual master, and mercifully you share your devotion with us to inspire us and help us to also surrender and devote ourselves to Krsna. Such an unselfish and pure endeavor melts my heart, binds me and inspires me to try to become your servant. Thank you so much for all the personal troubles you accept in order to help us, in a sincere attempts to help us to come back to Krsna. You do all this only by the impetus of serving and pleasing Guru and Krsna. I can see that clearly.

I pray I can take more and more seriously the chance I got, that is unique, and that can save me from all miseries. Moreover, it can give me the transcendental gift of reviving my eternal relationship with God, Krsna. This path back to Krsna is only possible under your guidance and shelter. Otherwise, why Krsna would accept me? By following your instructions, by serving without vanity, by inquiring sincerely and submissively, by trying my best to please you. I am like a foolish child, that thought she knew many things, but now understands its poor situation. It is my desire to grow as Krsna's servant under your guidance and shelter. I will use whatever intelligence and sincerity is in my hearts to improve in this path, as there nothing more valuable in my life. I wish to increase my faith in you, in Krsna the Personality of Godhead and in the holy names, as this is my only real opportunity to surrender fully my heart and it is the price to advance. I feel now as wet wood that fire can hardly burn. Although I am a very insignificant person, Krsna has taken me under His shelter, has given me all I need to progress, but I remain attached to so many things. At least I see more clearly my condition, and I don't think I am very "good". So now I wish to humbly progress in this path in which you are my guide and shelter.

Your insignificant servant, Nitya Kisori devi dasi

The photos are from a little altar I did in this aupicious day to remember you. It is small thing because I am the only disciple here, and almost all my friends are at home for Christmas. It is a nice opportunity to have an introspective day.

HpS - AGTSP. So, nice to hear from you from the lands of snow and ice. Please send us news of your Yatra there!!!
