We were celebrating Earth Day at the 6^th Annual, ECO Teaching Farm Festival, at the new Raman Reti farm in Alachua, Florida.

HpS/ASA - "Whole Earth Day" originated at my Alma Mater, UC Davis! 😇 Maybe 1968.

This year’s workshops highlighted even more reasons to appreciate the gifts of Mother Nature.

There were demonstrations on making banana fiber baskets, natural dyes from backyard blooms and kitchen scraps, incense making, essential oils, homemade paper, and mozzarella cheese.

In addition, there were herb walks, talks on using the biogas digester, tips on soil improvement, growing herbs, and much more.

I especially enjoyed the mozzarella cheese-making class with Mother Rucira. She used fresh organic milk from their cows to make the cheese.

We read about suicide by Chota Hari das Thakur (servant of Mahaprabhu ) and Sati (wife of Lord Siva canto 4). Now as little we know, there was no approval taken from any authority before commencing for this step. Still the consequences were positive.

What are views of ASA on this?

Yes, even M. Pariksit asked for approval. Yet, Sati is very special case, she is Durga Devi herself. Later there is story of how she wanted approval of her husband for her activities, but was strong minded and acted independently and there was apparently a bad result. Of course, she could not get approval from her father to commit suicide.

So, normally we should confirm and conviction that we have with Guru, Sadhu and Sastra.

We read one copy of Srila Prabhupada's orginal first canto SB and remember that he was expressing that taking to Bhakti yoga is suicide.

We are ok. Following our sadhana (16R, 4.30AM, 4P). Worshipping our deities before leaving for work. Then reading SB everyday.

ASA - AgtSP. When do you go to work? How do you go? Bicycle? Is it dangerous going in public in Lima?

Things at school are ok. Last week we, my 8th grade students and I, went to the theater. We see [saw 🙂] HAMLET. A very interesting version... all the actors have Down's Syndrome. They presented their point of view of being Hamlet... "to be or not to be"

My family is ok. My niece (Aitana) will be baptized on May 6th. She will be 6 months soon. Hare Krsna, Mataji will help us with the Annaprasna ceremony.

Thank you very much for your wonderful visit to Mexico City, mainly to Nueva Govardhan Monterrey.

For me it was an opportunity to share with you what I am most passionate about in this world, painting Krishna.

I know I have to improve a lot but I'm happy because you liked one of my jobs.

I have learned by copying paintings of the best. It has served me a lot.

Now I am about to begin a series of works entirely of my authorship dedicated to Krishna/Rama.

One of my great defects is that my head explodes with so many ideas and projects, but it is thanks to your mercy that the opportunity is being presented to concretize them and realize them by the hand of spiritual brothers. Which seems to me an advantage because in the end the goal is to please you, so that at the same time through you we can serve Srila Prabhupada.

Born in Mexico, in 1989,

since her childhood she showed and developed great interest in painting and art.

Graduated as a Licenciada en Artes from the Universidad Autónoma de Estado de Morelos [UAEM].

She also has knowledge in the field of sculpture and digital media, has taught classes at the middle and high school level and workshops for children and adults.

Other studies and skills: Drawing (theory and practice, pencil and charcoal), painting (oil, acrylic), ancient animation (taumatrope, praxinoscope), papier-mâché (catrinas, masks).

We are ok. Trying to survive in this material world. Thanks to Ur mercy, we can have hope we can be better each day.

ASA - NoI 3: Enthusiasm is more important than patience. Ie. Understand the purpose of struggle in this world. It is opportunity to undergo austerity to achieve divine life, which is eternal an ever increasing in harmony and happiness (for Gopal [Who is completely egoistic]).

We are following a sadhana everyday. Sometimes we enjoy it (16R, 5AM, 4P). Worshipping our deities. Then reading SB everyday. We are on Canto 1, Chapter 13: Dhrtarastra quits home. (pdp: "Etiquette for men and so much for ladies also, Gandhari, biographies."

some days we feel that we do it just to perform. Please forgive for that.

ASA - For us, it is becoming always relishable after some effort at purification from our falling into NoI-2. Forward!!! Return to the fight. Become a parama-hamsa soon. Next breath.

Things at school are ok. I was invited to represent the school for a conference on "Kids with Special abilities".

With my 8th grade group, We will begin to carry out social work in low-income schools

My family is ok. My niece (Aitana) is now 5 months old. My sister is doing very well teaching English for kids at school. My mom and my cousin take care of my niece while my sister is at work.
