It is working well. Cb/10 is planned as scanned and electronic distribution. Did you get Cb/8? What is your critical review of it? How should we make it better?

Prabhupada has said so much. We just need to run behind him like dogs in the dust of his lotus feet collecting, getting dirty, from the clouds of dust he raises in his Sankirtan.

HpS - ASA - AGTSP. We hope that we can go from O.K. to Ecstatic!!

Last Sunday we had a ceremony by the temple's vicepresident for those who are taking shelter of an spiritual master, so I was called to attend and received kind of a Certificate that i have completed the level of Sri guru carana ashraya! and i got the blessings of Radha-Gopinatha to take shelter... So I just wanted to let you know.

Then i have a few questions : - like Im always thinking the diference between morality, ethic and integrity and how to connect each other. I supposse they must be quite or little different, and I would like to know what Krishna and the acaryas think about that.

HpS - AGTSP!!!! I think that these are English words that are used differently by different Western philosophers et al. In Sanskrit, Gaudiya, Vedic, ISKCON culture there is "Upa-dharma" or things that take us closer to Dharma. For example, we follow the four principles. These are ethics, morality. In themselves they are not spiritual, but by Krsna's arrangement they create a good environment for spiritual life, chanting 16-rounds.
Is O.K? Upadharma.

- In today's class, canto7. 3.35, Ramai Maharaja was mentioning about material desires in return to our service. So I'm trying to be always sincere when praying, that means I also tell God my desires with the purpose of not hiding what it cannot be hidden,. But I'm thinking what would happen if I ask Krishna, knowing He's the source of the demigods, for something material. Because for example that verse in the bhagavatam( i think), says that even if one has material desires, desires of liberation, or has no desires, one should approach the Lord. Therefore, in this sense, I wonder how He would reply if for instance I ask for some ability or wealth, or whatever, (I'm just guessing). It reminds me to the explanation of prabhupada in NOI about christian people but I'll more info. and on the other hand I'm not gonna ask that, but this question was always in my mind, so if you can clarify it please Maharaja.
HpS - I think you have nice comprehension. Kardama and Devahuti had a lot of sense gratification, but it was all within the range of Bhagavata Dharma, so they learned from it that material sense gratification won't make you happy. So, yes, sometimes ask Krsna to help us with our material desires, to purify them, to give us a higher taste while we do them.
Are you attached to breathing air?
Well, you won't have it when you die. So we have a lot of material attachements we have surpass.

You had mentioned srila prabhupada's third canto explaination. But its given there that the demons were later attracted towards the damsel and were infatuated with a appetite for sex . It therfore means that they were actually heterosexual but due to lust were attracted to lord brahma. But gay people are not attracted to females. But the demons were attracted to females.Gay guys dont have uncontrolled lust or insatiable appetite. I think Srila prabhupada meant lust not gay people to be demoniac. Further srila prabhupada never treated his gay disciples any different than his straight disciples. 2) research by american society of human genetics in 2012 did a multi centric research on male sexual orientation. Data replicated hamer's Xq28 finding as determined by two point and multipoint LOD Score mapping . Authors concluded that "our findings taken in context with previous work suggest that genetic variations in each regions contributes to development of the important psycological trait of male sexual orientation. Q) Maharaj dont you think that it will be better to support gay devotees so that even they get the oppurtunity to go back to krisna by bhakti yoga ? Q) If a gay devotee is already in a monogamous relationship with a devotee partner, will you accept him/ her in Prabhupadas movement and give him or her the oppurtunity to serve Radha and Krisna. In general I think it is a complicated topic and the basis of four principles and 16-rounds a day makes a lot of it moot. Rama and Sugriva had a "vow of friendship" which was as binding as a vow of marriage. I don't know of any GBC rules about this, but as far as I know, anyone who is following the four principles and chanting sixteen enthusiastic rounds a day and has proper administrative approval can be initiated. That means that Krsna accepts them as His students. The whole process focuses on the soul, no? Homo, hetero ... these are all starting places, but if we advance in spiritual life this quickly falls away. My basic approach is that I initiate people who I know and who know me. Homo-sexuality is a secondary issue. '0'

I came in contact with ISKCON through street sankirtan in london in 2011. I have been chanting and following the regulative principles from the last 1 year. I came in touch with GALVA( Gay and lesbian vaisnava association ) where i had a chat with Amara das prabhu ( prabhupada disciple) .he told me that in ISKCON multi guru system many gurus do accept gay disciples although celibacy is to be maintained ie illicit sex is not allowed. I even read H.H.Hridayananda swami's view on it. I want to know your view on the topic. How do you view homosexuality ? And if you ever had a gay disciple what will be your suggestion to him/her. Maharaj I am sorry because i asked this question in a public forum but i hope many aspiring gay devotees will be helped. I pray to Krisna that i didnt offend you by asking. On the road in the Philippines

Dear Swamiji,

PAMHO, AGTSP! I'm spending 2 weeks traveling in the Philippines to see temples and meet devotees. Cebu is nice, only a preaching center now that is run by a family. They hold a Sunday feast and about 15 college students attend. I went this past Sunday and was asked to give the class. I chose Bhagavad Gita (2.26). Gaura Nitai really inspired me. I will leave friday for Manila temple. Everyday I see clearly how Krishna is arranging my life in every way.

HpS - Very nice. I bet you meet some people in route too! Have some books to give them!!!!
