Hare Krsna Dear Gurudev,
    Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.

ASA - Lettuce feet. Of course, we hope to aspire that Srila Prabhupada's lotus feet are our lotus feet (possession).

    All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
    All glories to Guru parampara.

    Gurudev, Hope you are good in Health.

    As i had Visited 4 small city - Chilfilly, Ambikapur, Bilaspur and Raipur. Basic objective of the visit was to check scope for us (ISKCON).

    City 1 : Chilfilly - Many 'Sahajiya' sampradaya are preaching on this area. They don't follow any rules. They preach like, they are in Vraja or Gopi-bhava. They say, they can show the 'swarup' to anyone. Even they offered me to show the 'swarup'. But i did not responded. They all have big big and beautiful diets ("diets" or "dieties") at their home. They have made their own rules of bhakti, sadna and worship.

    City 2 : Bilaspur - Good city. Engineering, Medical College, High Court is there. i was success to develop a relationship with two lawyer of high court for preaching purpose.

    City 3 : Raipur - Capital of Chhattisgarh state. Scope is good. Already an ISKCON Temple is there but very less preaching.

    City 4 : Amibkapur - Nice city, growing city. Good Agriculture College is there. Scope for ISKCON is good.

    It was my first visit for these place so need more visit before making any decision.

    Why i had chosen these place : Because 'Sahajiya' preachers are there. They are misguiding people.

HpS - ASA -- It sounds like you are moving toward Sannyasa dharma, traveling and preaching, not having a private family, but loving all people as your family.

I'm going to try to send some photos for the first time to see how it works.  These are the only photos I could find that are less than 2MB  This is a photo of the going away party for a delightful devotee couple who had to move to up state New York for his work as a college economics professor.  With Bahushira and Paradeya.  The tears were flowing that day.  The other is a picture of Paradeya,  his wife Caitanya Dasi and me at home.

HpS - Hare Krsna. Sorry a little slow reading this wonderful letter. Reflects our lack of taste for spiritual life and continued interest in World War II. By your association and all the devotees in this world AND Srila Prabhupada AND Jesus and Mohamad and...   Confuscious and...  we might make some progress. We only see one photo!  If you get the time, save the file with a descriptive name, then I think that will show up. I only see a small version of it at this point. I will post it and look at the large version. Then I think this letter to this point will go. . . .

Esteemed Professor et al,

We are writing from Franklin, Tennessee. As usual our energy is a little delicate. Death is only about 9-years away and we should be expecting more and more debilitation of the gross body as it approaches, be we hope to have a harmonious departure, having all our accounts in order.

CALENDAR

We have our tickets:

We arrive 10.45PM, February 18th, in Delhi on Jet Airways 229

We leave March 30th, 2.45AM on Jet Airways 230

What shall we do in between times? The ISKCON programs in Mayapura formally begin the 24th, but we may be expected to arrive before that to help set up things. You and Mrs. Bandyopadhyaya can come to visit the project?
After that we should make some effort to visit the North-east, Manipur, although it is mostly a personal obligation to our disciple Yamunesvara Das.

Beyone that we have invitations to visit Mumbhai and Pune and Baroda and of course we would like to visit Vrndavana, but these are more optional until we get your opinion.

BHARATA-SAMSKRITI

We are working on the brochure, we had to drive over to Ravi's home, 45-minutes each way to get the books and dust covers. Today, Friday, we hope to take the information and put it into a flyer. We also go to his house today for regular Friday program and at the same time look for our copy of Abhivadana (spelling [?]).
 

EDUCATION IN CLASSICAL INDIA

We looked at the Program for the Delhi book release and we did not see any more details of our Welcome Address and after a second review do not see an older version of it on our computer memory. I guess we can go over it by phone at some point.

CORPORATION

We will visit Texas next weekend and hope to meet with the Accountant then about the details of Incorporation. We are waiting for Rama-giri-dhari Das to approve or edit the Mission Statement, but even if he does not get back to us soon we will send it to you for your opinions.

PERU SYMPOSIUM

Ramon was exhausted after his business trip to Spain, but has pushed to organize a meeting with Ravi next Wednesday during business hours to establish personal committments for the projects and then detailed contracts. If this doesn't happen then I think we should reconsider the project.

OTHER DETAILS

Are always there and are coming along slowly but steadily. We are getting a more and more efficient work schedule. Usually we have 1-3 hours of class programs daily and about 15-letters to answer daily. We started the Sanskrit vocabulary course with Goloka Education: balukah vane vasati. It is at www.loftylearning.com and looks to be a good start for a very practical course. We are promoting it. The more the merrier.

We will call on Sunday and hope to have the Bh-Skrti flyer off to you before that.

HpS - Eyes are failing, respiration is little depressed, memory is failing, two teeth gone...  and you?

    i came back in Pune, today morning at 7:30 AM.

    Visited 4 small city in Chhattisgarh - Chilfilly, Ambikapur, Bilaspur and Raipur. While visiting the place
    got to know the place, environment, Vaisanava and "Apsampradaya"s preaching activity in those
    area and scope for us.

    Due to different weather in these places, my donkey is affected badly. But joined office today.

HpS - Ahaaa!   Everyone is suffering. These diseases are so personal that they must be reflections of different Sattivaka Bhavas, no??

Hare Krsna, Dear Gurudev

Here in Peru we have a very nice program with Baladeva Prabhu.

There are a lot people who are very satisfied and interested to take more courses. He made conflict resolution and mediation workshops and we are enthusiastic to organize more courses and other surprises.

Baladeva Prabhu told us that he has been trying of communicating with you and Ramgiridhari Prabhu writing to your and his e-mail address. However, he did not receive answers.

HpS - We never, never received one letter from Prabhuji!!!   I wrote to him a couple of times. I don't know if those got lost!   I do know that Ramagiridhari told me that he had answered one of Baladeva's letters and only heard that Baladeva Prabhu told him he would get back to him but he had some more things to do.

Jiva shakti sent letters to RGD and RGD told me that he answered twice with copies to me, and I never got them. This happens sometimes from India with other people I know also. That's why it is important to call by telephone also.  If we are very determined we can try to write to the person, call them and then try to communicate throught there associates.  I tried to do that in our efforts to connect with Vaisesika Das, but in the end we could not connect.

Maybe this is because we are not pure devotees. Maybe it is Krsna's desire. In any case, let's go ahead. Another Hispanomerica Education Symposium in Chile?

Besides, Jagat guru did not answer him about Chilean educational conference. I said him that he should write you to Monkey Warrior. Thank you for your patience. ss Abhinanda das

HpS - Yes!!!!   This is a good communication format!    Yes, Jagat-guru Prabhu and his associates send us news about working on the project, but it is not going ahead very strongly. I told them in August that they should fix the city, week, organizing team and basic content, and then publish it immediately. Then everyone knows what is happening and can make rough plans for their calendars. We still have not seen that.

That is O.K.

Maybe we will have another kind of program in Santiago at the end of January. We have our ticket. We will be there. Please don't think that I am saying these things critically because I think that I am doing better or am better than others. Honestly, we are just as disorganized and lazy and greedy from some perspectives as everybody else.
Externally we have a nice perspective: 16-nice rounds and 4-principles strictly. Of course, if we want to have a penetrating understanding of things then we have to penetrate more. Is a wife chaste? Well, she doesn't have sexual relations with any man but her religiously married husband ...  but ... she jokes with and touches other men, and contemplates "romantic affairs" with them.

So, at least let's be Madhyama adhikaris and follow Srila Prabhupada's external standard and then we can judge our individual devotion in detail from more advanced level later.
ISKCON Vaikuntha although maybe not ISKCON Goloka.

Look at Cc. Madhya 15.102 and the subsequent  verses.

Shall we have a symposium on these verses when we visit Peru?

Le cuento q estos dias ha sido puro nectar en templo de mexico df llego Maha Vishnu swami y se ha hecho mucha predica.  es muy entusiasta en salir siempre a harinamaaa y se distribuyen mucho libros, hemos salido los fines de semana a sankirtan con la camioneta nueva q compramos en el templo, ya casi la terminamos de pagar.

SS Maha Vishnu me pidio q fuera con el a colombia del 10 al 23 de noviembre, y me ayudo a pagar el pasaje, me siento muy afortunado porque es un gran gran alma!!

gracias a su miscericordia he seguido su instruccion de levantarme temprano y cantar las vueltas minimas antes del amanecer, he estado analizando mucho mi naturaleza como ud me lo pidio y estoy descubriendome.

la verdad, me gustaria mucho en el trayecto de mi vida devocional poder por lo menos unos meses viajar con SS Maha Vishnu Swami y ser entrenado en el canto de los santos nombre, el me comento q estaria dispuesto a ser mi siksaguru pero quiciera preguntarle si ud esta deacuerdo o que planes tiene para mi,

HpS - TlgaSP!!!   pfanrh....  Conozco a Maharaja para un tiempo aqui aca.  Somos simpaticos. No se las detalles de su perspectivo ni modo de Sankirtana, pero a mi parece que es bueno acceptar el como un Siksa guru. Sudama Swami dijo que Prabhupada le dijo que cualquiere persona que anima nosotros en servicio devocional, citando las escrituras, o la palabras de los Acharyas relevantes previos son nuestra Siksa gurus. Entonces uno puede ser Vartmana pradarsika siksa guru, Rasa siksa guru; Kanistha, Madhyama o Uttama-adhikari siksa guru.

Siento q necesito trabajar mas tiempo con mi intronspeccion pues tengo que ser un ejemplo para los devotos nuevos y no he logrado serlo, asi q deceo seguir sirviendolo desde el Brahmacary ashrama con mas tiempo y dedicacion.
