Querido Gurudev: Pamho. TgSP y sus seguidores fieles.

Espero que se encuentre bien cuando reciba este mensaje. Quiero darle las gracias por sus sabios consejos. Nosotros ahora estamos adaptandonos a nuestra nueva realidad. Una vez al mes participamos en un Bhakti Vriksa con devotos rusos por la zona donde vivimos. Son devotos muy buenos, humildes, organizados y austeros. Este mes lo hicimos en nuestra casa y celebramos la ceremonia anna prasanna para Sarasvati (Murari fue el sacerdote). Nos juntamos unas 15 personas y es muy inspirador.

En cuanto a Navalakunda, como sabrá, acordamos con el GBC que las administraciones del Templo-Madrid y Navalakunda estarán separadas. El Templo de Madrid ayudará economicamente a Navalakunda hasta que se termine la construcción de los edificios. Tambien se acordó que el laksmi que habia ahorrado durante estos años es para el proyecto rural.

Este mes nos reuniremos  para normalizar la parte administrativa: Dandava dejo su cargo de Secretario y tenemos que nombrar otro, hacer otra pagina web, fijarnos otros objetivos, etc.

               ASA - TlgaSP!!!  Muy bien. Tengo una carta con fotos. Ya fijado permiso del gobierno para contrucccion??

En lo personal no hay grandes cambios: vivo mas tranquilo, sadhana estable, me relaciono con devotos amigos (la mayoria antiguos) y mi salud (la espalda) es irregular: a veces hago vida normal y otras tengo que dejar de trabajar.

Leo algunas de las cartas del blog y algunas veces cuando Purnamasi está conectada a japa-joe y yo no trabajo tambien lo escucho algunas veces.

          HpS - ASA -- Muy bien. Google translate. We are struggle to fit into the institution also. It has always been this way. I have known several GBC secretaries intimately and in general I do not know a single GBC Secretary who likes GBC meetings. It is something that has to be done and the satisfaction is to see some order out of chaos.

Abortion is definitely discouraged and is in category of murder. fornication outside marriage is also illicit..celbicay is promoted if one stay as Monk thats better.

we have to search a temple president and temple, before we even think of becoming your disciple. infact  16 rounds and 4 rules are not much bigger challegne than that to have local sankirtan authority every year in any place we go. This has been always tough for us esp we have been staying at diff places for varying durations.

we have our concerns, but now we think, its upto us and our dexterirty to apply principles.. we are not fortunate as other bloggers on this blog to have atleast family or devotee spiritual support. We have to rely on Super Soul only.

we wont brood too much.

Other Bloggers fortunate - Some are have worse situation than you some have better. Some stories of what spouses do to harrass their devotee partners cannot even be remembered!

We think that your good family must be saints to live in such a small place.

Mis mas humildes reverencias

Todas las glorias a srila prabhupada

pues respondiendo a su carta, la perfumeria me despidio hace unos meses por falta de trabajo, pero mirando la parte positiva tengo mas tiempo para estudiar mientras me sale otro trabajo.

mi hermana esta muy bien y mi madre ...bueno, los problemas con ella siguen ,dado que hace cosas que no me gustan, pero la tengo que respetar,al fin de cuenta ella me trajo al mundo.

Tengo ganas de que la situacion cambie y poder separarme un poco de mi familia, no me ayuda ha avanzar espiritualmente nada y me siento un poco encajada, pero, igualmente le doy gracias a krsna por poder asociarme con devotos, tenerle a usted y a pesar de no vivir ahora en una familia conciente de krsna ,no perder la conciencia y las enseñanzas que me inculcaron de pequeña y que voy recibiendo a traves de usted.

Cambiando de tema para no aburrirlo, tengo que decirle que el templo es oficialmente de los hindues aunque gracias a la misericordia de krsna el otro dia una devota y yo pudimos recibir en el templo a dos clases de un instituto de valencia y hablarles de la conciencia de krsna.

Les hablamos de sri caitanya mahaprabhu,de srila prabhupada,de la importancia de cantar el maha mantra,de tener a un maestro espiritual,porque es importante la limpieza,realmente fue un resumen orientado a niños de 15 y 16 añitos del introducctorio a bakti yoga,y les dimos algunos dulces maha prasadam y el resultado fue maravilloso,hacian preguntas y estaban interesados en el tema.Vieron la puya y cantaron el maha mantra.

Ojala krsna nos ilumine y podamos seguir haciendo la familia grande.

respecto a el reporte,las 16 rondas,mangal aratik(,aunque sola en casa),unos tres o cuatro dias por semana,leo libros de srila prabhupada,atiendo a las deidades de casa y esperando que venga el buen tiempo para plantar tulasi :-).

HpS - Super. Muchas veces nosotros eligimos nuestra sendero en como 12 - 13 anos! Entonces presentar una muestra muy vivida de nuestra vida y ideas a ninos es algo super importante.

Claro, la familia es una program de predica muy particular. Hay ventajas y desaventajas. Nuestras reverencias al presidente del templo! Como se llama?

Pienso super su perspectivo y espero Krsna mejorar mas y mas su situacion, associacion, yatra, y abilidades para servir a el.

16 rounds per day! (they aren't nice, we want to improve the quality of them)

Maharaj, I've been thinking, about different things, I started the Disciple Course in the Temple of Iskcon...and we talked about Srila Prabhupada, and how we can remember him, and keep Srila Prabhupada as the preeminent guru. ¿Can you please help me with this? ¿What we should do, to do that?  

      HpS - AGTSP paoho. It comes naturally as you read his books, follow his discipline, associate with his other disciples, and serve his mission. Do what you can do for ISKCON naturally, not dog hard.

Also, I see in others and in myself, sometimes that we are in a rollercoasters of emotions, happiness/afliction. If we are chanting hare krsna, and we still feeling bad, and sad...¿that is because we are not chanting properly?

   HpS - In the beginning we are still in the violent river even though we have the rope from the shore (16 x 4) so we get nice parts of the river and then bad parts. Srnvatam sva kattha krsna.. Canto One Chaper Two.... As we get closer to the shore the waves decrease.

Excuse my stupidity, i'm not yet qualified to understand this things, and do things correctly.

Dear Gurumaharaja!

Sadhana is very strong in the Chicago temple, 15 bcaris, a lot of preach increasing in spring and summer times.  I’m the new halwai of kishor kishori, making diferent sweets for them. A lot of services in the temple and a lot of preaching. It is so difficult to be balanced, the days turn very short. I opened a bhakti club in Truman Collage where I’m studying and I’m taking care of one bhakti club in Loyola University, the students are very enthusiastic. I’m preaching profusely in order to expand Latin preaching through harinama, book distribution, advertisement. Rick Warren’s book about how to lead a church is very helpful to me now a days.

I started 2 Canto Bhakti Vaibhava, and giving complete sections in SB classes about 6 canto in the temple. It’s hard to digest all that knowlege.

   HpS - ASA -- AGTSP paoho.  Who is leading the Bh. Vai. programs?

The only reason why I’m doing this is because I have this sense of gratitude with You, Srila Prabhupada and Iskcon, other wise, I can not handle with this. However is very extatic also, and everyday i'm traying to increase my conection with the dieties and japa.

The temple president of Chicago temple wants to invite You. So he ask me about your email, but i dont know which e mail  I can give to him to be in touch with you.

I'm thinking that we can organize in northwestern or loyola university a program or even the community here the never hear about Ligth Of Bhagavata or how to present the book. Or a festival with the latin community which is big in Chicago. That's all for now Gurudeva

  HpS - Yes, Sadhana bhakta means to understand what are the priorities. It is a great art.  You can see our calendar on the Kapi-dhvaja. Maybe we can come to Chicago, but now we are just getting our foundation set here in Tennessee. Without that we cannot develop anything very substantial, always running the car in first gear.

Let us see how things go after a few more weeks. Already there is so much improvement. Regular diet. Regular writing. Regular eye strain. (Ha! Ha!).

Priorities, how soon will we have to leave this body....

I do not think you remember me but I'm from Buenos Aires, so I met you here and also in Chile recently.

I was thinking to write you when I received your answer. haha! Thanks for your answer. It makes me think about you and the humility that I need to develop.

Well, when you left Chile, I stayed there distributing books to people (for the first time) and I liked it soooooo much. In fact I thought I could do traveling sankirtan all over Argentina and later go to Brasil and do Bhakti Sastri but also I thought about my job, my rental, the stuff that I need to do, etc. So I arrived to Buenos Aires, Argentina last friday and I have a lot of obstacles in my head... I don't know if you remember one of the question that I asked you when we were in Chile, but it was about my job. I work on the channel television news at night from 22 pm to 5 or 6 am, wednesday to sunday, they pay very well. I was studying Image and sound Design so my job is about editing news...So one of my question is about my position in the sankirtan movement. I have not yet very clear what is the best thing for my spiritual life and what I want to do, but I feel I have a desire to preach even the minimum knowledge that I have ( in my job I can not do it, because the kind of people, you know... closed mind) and secondly I would like to study, taking more classes, wake up early like a normal people.. - well not normal, like devotees more exactly - chant my rounds early. Also I thought about making movies like "La Luz del Bhagavata", and merge my profession with preaching. But anyway I would need money to live... At the moment, I continue working but I think that I need a change. I don´t know if its about sense gratification or what but I feel that my job only gives me economic stability but add nothing to my spiritual life. In fact, the news are poison to people, you know, and It's not the kind of preaching I join, but it's very difficul for me to take a desicion because I feel alone, it costs me feel Krishna is with me, I feel that the decision that I'm going to take is purely my responsibility and I'm afraid.

On the other hand, I had asked you about the difference between repression and carry out regulatives rules. That was not very clear for me. I keep regulatives rules but my mind makes me think that is repression so it disturbs me. And what about the vaisnava etiquette? Sometimes I find very impersonal relations between devotees in the temple maybe just for trying to carry out the vaisnava etiquette.. so I don't like impersonalism. How can I understand this point?

Let me see if there are later letters from your good self. So many good questions. We could give answers but the basic premis is that I haven't got time to do that and do the writing that I am supposed to do.

Basically, yes, your progam is pretty crazy. You should try to get a job where you can use the time from 4AM to 10AM for strong hearing and chanting, even if it means getting less money. It is the right thing and Krsna will always give you lots of help doing the right thing!!!

Don't be fanatic but start moving in the right direction.

Even at work you can find ways to chant softly, read snippets on your screen, talk about Krsna as the taste in water, fragrance of the earth.

Etc. Squeeze in some Krsna katha during the Brahma muhurta and get a regular rhythm for getting all your rounds done.
