Yes, but some times the mind go and make everything 100 times more harderd that should be. (About the standard principles).

A few days ago I inject a vaccine against tetanus because I cut my self trying to make a bow and a few arrows, lets said that a machete is not so good for such delicate work.

ASA - Try to make arrows to shoot at others and get shot! 😆

And i didin't see Deva-vrata (or at least i don't recognice him) but i have a loot of brothers in this part of south america, I remember several of them from some memory of my childhood other not so much.

In the next week I think we are going to Sankirtan :D Im very exited because that, the leaves were green the last time that I make (now we are in fall).

You have some advice for the live in temple?

Maybe something to control my mind?

ASA - Live in the Temple. Travel. Try out different service for some time. Try to understand your Daivi Varna Ashrama Dharma. What is your Karma, Varna, Ashrama and how Krsna wants to engage them. He wanted Arjuna to kill people!

Then maybe second initiation.

By 25-years old in regular Vedic culture one should get married or take Sannyasa.

How old are you?

What education, family experiences, personal test did you bring to Krsna Consciousness?

Often, on Sankirtan, it is easier to distribute five books than one book. This is not the age of Jnana, reading, learning. This is the age of Sankirtan.

Get people to think about taking the books not as something for them to learn, but as gifts for their friends etc. Try to make them into Sankirtan devotees. They might be able to see the book like that rather than as a source of knowledge.

Or maybe a secret to get a better result in Sankirtan?

HpS - Sorry slow to answer. I think a lot has happened since this letter. Please write about it. We are struggling to integrate with the people, institutions, things here in our Base Camp. Then we can make some long term adjustments to our Sankirtan, no?

We welcomed Gaura Nitai to our home in a grand way Maharaj. Abhishekam, Kirtan, Talk by Subhala Saka Prabhuji on topic “Why to worship deities”, Aarti and Finally a wonderful feast.

ASA - Aaaah! You welcomed Garua Nitai to THEIR home, no? 🙂

His Holiness Jaya pataka Maharaj given very beautiful name Dayal Nitai Gaura Chandra.

We served almost 150 devotees. Distributed LOB books and small books (Nectar of instructions, Perfect questions and answers, On the way to krsna etc.) of Srila prabhupada.

Just We have seen "Chapter two of Traveling creature" and it's really Awesome. Thank you Guru maharaja for wonderful discussions and showing us festivities in different cities. Very nice and surprising to see our Richmond ISKCON Temple celebrations..😍

As per your advice, we started reading "Light of Bhagavata" book. Please guide and suggest me which book to start next to progress in devotional services.

We have got our feet on the ground here at our Base Camp near Nashville and really slowing down the number of BIG and small programs live and on-line.

Hope to do mail more regularly.

If you go to http://www.jayarama.us/archives/ , our ASA Archives, and scroll down to the files starting with "lob..." you can find some interesting things related to LOB. Get a study partner and read the book together. Maybe organize a LOB, Cultivation of the Human Spirit, symposium in Richmond. There is a "production manual" in those Archive files.

Next is NoI.

I just wanted to send a message thanking you for your enlivening association and classes you gave while you were recently visiting the ISKCON Houston community.

I have had the chance to read through some of your short stories on Jayarama.us, they are very wonderful and seem to capture the mind. Grateful to you for those.

Also your Japa Joe slide shows and “Get Up Early and Get Your Rounds Done” presentations have been very inspiring..

Especially the practical tips for waking up and simply chanting, despite the mind’s objections.

To keep it short and simple I just wanted to say thank you kindly, Maharaja.

And if you have any other advice or thoughts on getting fixed in up rising early and chanting, please do share..
