All Glories to Shri Guruji and Gourangaji
Radha Krsna Ki Jay and Gourabhakta Vrnda Ki Jai
I am submitting my humble obeisanses to Sri Guruji’s Padmacharan the information of our Radha Govinda Mandir, Thoubal that some bhaktas are performing daily mangala aarati at 4.30 a.m. Some members were left for Tritha-Jatra, in two groups. The army base of Thoubal is expected not to shift within 2/3 years.
As a routine I am reading Gita, Bhagavatam second canto, Chaitanya Charitamrita first canto other books such as Nectar of Instruction, Nectar of Devotion, for reference when needed.
The main questions Guruji asked are related to Canto no. ten of Srimad Bhagavatam. Actually I want to read this chapter after completion of canto no. nine. In my knowledge, the eight principle queens of Lord Krsna are as under : 1) Rukamini 2) Jambavati 3) Satyabhama 4) Kalindi 5) Mitravinda 6) Nagnajiti 7) Bhadra and 8) Laksmana. Interestingly all the queens have different stories of their marriage but I don’t have detailed ideas.
HpS - Yes, 10th Canto after first nine, but maybe from previous life we have already gone through the first 9. Actually, CC after SB! But Prabhupada gave us the book KRSNA so that even a new devotee can relish the pastimes and power of the 10th Canto. Thank you for list of the queens.
The Aadi Lila of Chaitanya Charitamrita is a very tough portion. Though, Krsna is the origin all in all, I have so much confusion of using different names like Nityananda (Sesa : Ananta) – Karanadaksayi Bisnu, Garbhadaksayi Bisnu, Kshirodaksayi Bisnu sometimes Hari, Narayana, Govinda, Madhusudan, Bhagavan etc. in the same place. All the spiritual names mentioned above have different places and different stories but at the same time and place why use different names instead using related names of the event. Guruji please clarify my darkness.
It is like in the government, no? His wife at home says, "Honey", in front of the children she says "Daddy", in public they say, "Mr. President". So Nityananda, Lord, when he expands or takes different functions He is known by different names, Karana Visnu, Garbho visnu, in terms of his costume and work.
Then there are Secretarys for the governement and others.
So maybe it is a little bit complicated at first but it will be repeated again and again as you read. The first Canto of CC is very logical like this, go ahead, don't worry if you don't understand everything, next time when you are 65 years old, it will be more clear, and after this the Chapters have more pastimes for instruction.
We five members are planning to come to Mayapur for Guruji’s darshan and sparsha (tough) Guruji’s-Padamacharan on the 15th Feb. 2014 and will stay 3 / 4 days. But no room reserved even now. Guruji, which date will be convenient for meeting us? Guruji please let us know before booking air tickets (to and fro).
I will be ready to leave Kolkatta on the 15th also. We could go together, no? It seems we have meetings in the morning every day, but we can go to Mangala arati, chant Japa, chat, have classes, and meet in the afternoons and evenings! We can make a movie!
We are so unfortunate that we could not see Guruji whenever we need and could not serve satisfactorily. On the other we are so poor in knowledge and money that we have no capacity to satisfy Guruji. We are praying Guruji daily in the simplest form whether it may be right or wrong. Excuse us from the mistakes we have committed. We are eagerly waiting Guruji’s ashirbad all the time.
We are also poor and stupid that we cannot visit Manipur more often. But you have association of Hari Das Das and others!
