Just wanted to share, even Bhakti Vinod Thakur thougt something inappropriate about SB, what about conditioned souls

"The Bhagavat, like all religious works and philosophical performances and writings of great men, has suffered from the imprudent conduct of useless readers and stupid critics. The former have done so much injury to the work that they have surpassed the latter in their evil consequence. Men of brilliant thoughts have passed by the work in quest of Truth and Philosophy, but the prejudice imbibed from It's useless readers and their conduct prevented them from making a candid investigation...This prejudice is not easily shaken when the student grows up unless he candidly studies the Book and ruminates on the doctrines of Vaishnavism. We are ourselves the fact. When we were in college, reading the philosophical works of the West and exchanging thought with the thinkers of the day, we had a real hatred of the Bhagavata. That great work looked like a repository of wicked and stupid ideas scarcely adapted to the nineteenth century, and we hated to hear any arguments in It's favour...Oh! What a trouble to get rid of prejudices gathered in unripe years."

"In the modern age Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu preached the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam by practical demonstration. It is easier to penetrate into the topics of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam through the medium of Śrī Caitanya's causeless mercy. Therefore a short sketch of His life and precepts is inserted herein to help the reader understand the real merit of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.

It is imperative that one learn the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam from the person Bhāgavatam. The person Bhāgavatam is one whose very life is Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam in practice. Since Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu is the Absolute Personality of Godhead, He is both Bhagavān and Bhāgavatam in person and in sound. Therefore His process of approaching the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is practical for all people of the world. It was His wish that the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam be preached in every nook and corner of the world by those who happened to take their birth in India."

Dr. Samaresh suggests that we shoot for release of our next book by Prime Minister of India while the HpS and Monkey and Piggy are in India, 7-12th of May. Are you ready!??  Sri Hari Das says he can help from Mathura, visits to New Delhi.

What do we do while we are there?

First few days in Madrid, no?    Then weekend to Italy.   Then when we return we have a Monday through Friday.  Suggested one lecture on Jung - Science, Psyche and Spirituality - The Encounter of Carl Jung with the Ancient Mysticism of India at Complutense University. We could invite Salvador Dali (and all other surrealists) et al.

Here is a letter we sent to Dravida (BBT) with copies to Vaisesika, Gauda-candra and Hanuman Das (BBT). We look at the BBT as Rama and we have found Sita, these ideas, to return to them.

Hare Krsna, Dravida Prabhu,

AGTSP. paoho.  We hope you are well and primarily only want to be engaged by you in Srila Prabhupada's service. We talked with out old friend the Gaudacandra Das at the BBT, and he said that you would be a person to talk with for ideas for BBT publications.

Of course, we wonder if BBT is doing on-line, e-book, publications?

Two specific ideas we have are:

1. SB SUMMARY: In Spanish the SB has the Chapter Summaries at the start of every Chapter. These are by Bhaktivinode Thakura, no?

In English SB they start in Canto Five.

Can the BBT print a SB companion booklet with the Summaries for Cantos 1-4. Also, it would be nice to just put all the First Lines of the Summaries in one section in the same booklet. The First Lines are of course a summary of the summary. It would be a summary of the whole Bhagavatam in like 300-sentences, no?

Also, Srila Prabhupada picked one Verse to start each volume. Those could also be put in the same booklet.

Name it ... ?   Sarvavatam: SB in a Moment? ???

2. RATHYATRA SANKIRTAN:  We have Rathyatra everywhere. Why not consult with the Vaisesika Das, and make up a photo master, like a DOCX file, PDF file with exciting format, color pictures, kids friendly, can't stop reading it, that could be handed out in thousands to the people along the Rathyatra route with a super inspiration to contact the BBT and buy books on-line, at the Rathyatra and at the sponsoring Temple.

Leave some space so the whole dude could be easily run through a photo copy machine and local information printed in the space provided.

Of course, color printing of them could be done locally, but it can also be done in mass in different countries on 4-color press by BBT and then sold to different Yatras.Yatras could buy tens of thousads because they would use it again and again.

Please accept my humble obeisances

I know I'm in the dark box of the irresponsible disciples for don't write you often since you go South america. This lasts weeks were really crazy in the school; we had open house and we were preparing everything for that.
This week we have a new student for Gokul kidz class, Little Keshav, the family moved from Cincinnati.
 We are trying to give our 108% to the school. We just finish ours first 100 days of the school, please look the video :). Is in youtube

The simposium in Southamerica seems pretty amazing, lots of participation and really inspiring.  I was talking with god brothers/sisters in Mexico, we gonna send you a report soon. I like to be useful in vaisnava's service 

Waiting like a wolf for the full moon, we are anxious for Goura Purnima and hopefully for your association.

HpS - ASA -- AGTSP! Paoho. We looked at the video. We give it a score of 97.79% perfectly made. The content is just amazing. Devotees from Texas who saw the presentation in the Temple were amazed. Thank you so much. We are working to include all Mexican devotees in the next North American Symposium, July 30th.

We arrive the day after Gaura-purnima and stay at least 10-days, maybe 21 days if Rama-giri-dhari Das is coming.

Esteemed Professor, Swami Harsh et al,

We are sitting in Ashrama of our disciple, Tandavika Das, in Franklin, Tennessee, after a long and arduous journey from Peru. It was about 22-hours with great physical and mental stress, but we are very happy and in pretty clear consciousness.

1. BOOK RELEASE IN PERU: We went to Ricardo Palma University to make the presentation of the Bharata Sanskriti volume to Prof. Dora Bazan and her husband Ruben Devoto. We were well received and asked to lecture to about 50-students of Ayur-veda officially inscribed in the study offered by Ruben and the University. They were enlightened people from 18 to 58 years old, students, and not only medical practitioners, but also directors of well known clinics.

Dora inaugurated the program and then went down to join the University Council meeting that was going on. Officially we were number 37 on the agenda and she would call us when it was time to present the volume before the Council and Rector.

The advanced copy itself had been done to the highest quality by Visual Service and I dare say that the finished publications will not surpass it. Ruben, Dora, everyone, were very, very, enthralled with the volume and kept looking through it again and again.

After about 20-minutes of lecture Dora returned and talked to Ruben with an anxious look on her face. He then approached us and asked if we could have a short break in the lecture with the students approval.

We stepped to the office next to the lecture hall and then he told as that although we were number 37 on the list there was one "small report" from the University Auditor's office as item 31.

When it came to the Auditor's report it turned out not to be a "small report" but and atomic bomb carefully covered so as to not alert suspicion.

The Auditor reported that after following small discrepancies and then make full research and documentation himself and with his Staff, he was now reporting that over $250,000 had been embezzled by members of the university academic and administrative staff, many of whom were members and present in the Council Meeting.

Basically, falsified funding notices had been given to the University treasurer who had released the funds. These then had been banked and loaned at 20% interest.

Of course at this point all pandemonium broke loose and every subsequent item on the agenda went under like a stone in the ocean. Dora is a Dean. She was not charged with embezzling funds but some of her secretaries were. She then took the volume with place markers and directly showed it to our Rector, Dr. Ivan Rodriguez, who in the middle of the chaos looked at it and told her to tell us that it was an amazing publication and it only confirmed his opinion of the work that NIOS has been doing with the university and in Peru, and after this chaos is dealt with he hopes to give proper respect to us and all facilitations to NIOS and their own IECOO to develop this kind of work.

2. NOW: We will call Dr. Sahaab and see if there is any special work for us. We still don't have the "Page Maker" files from Sanjaya which are at least as important as the hard-copies of the book, as these will be used to make the electronic copies of the book that will be marketed at Amazon.com and other places.

There is a lot of work for ISKCON Ministry of Education, Goloka Education and here in our home-town, but it all seems to be in good proportion and will yield up to a plan and calendar within the next few days. One of the most prominent tasks for us and NIOS seems to be seeing whether Dr. Eduardo Gostelumendi, whom we met at the last academic event in Lima, wants to co-author a "book" with us. He is a very respected, informed and intelligent Freudian psychiatrist in Peru and even internationally.

The idea would be that we would each write a little taking the dialog through different topics, including other people as appropriate and then publish the volume in July, organize a robust event at the Peruvian National Library in August with exhibitions in place for two weeks before, and a discussion of the contents of the book by the two principal editors and the other contributors.

Our hope is that by this NIOS might produce something as important as Hamlet, Don Quixote, Das Kapital, Mein Kampf or other publications that have been central in changing the world (for better).
