Many Services and Bad Japa

Hare Krishna gurudeva, please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
All glories to you!

How are your health?

HpS - AGTSP!!! About the same yours will be when your donkey turns 66-years! Good preparation for death and other delights. Hope your Rathyatra is SUPER!

I want to tell you I’m very focused on service and I realized that I’m not reading and I’ve lost my concentration in my japa. I never leave to chant but I can’t chant good rounds because I’m on passion modality all the time,

  • thinking about pendings things that I have to do,
  • thinking about new things to do,
  • thinking about to preach non-devotees,
  • thinking about atitudes that I have to change,
  • thinking about attitudes that I have to improve,
  • analyzing myself to be better,
  • trying to make strong relationships, and
  • thinking about what devotees teach me with their attitudes.

I think also that If I try to act in the goodness modality like I did before, I couldn’t do all the service that I want to.

ASA - Oink! -- It's all service! [{(We will now give to you a Secret Mantra that is hiden from all the Vedas. Don't share it with anyone)}}
http://www.vedabase.com/en/sb/10/9/5

And Krishna is giving to me the opportunity to do all these service, so I can't neglects them. It’s hard to me looking for a balance. Sometimes I feel too anxious and can not focus in my japa.
I remember my spiritual master said that Krishna sees our effort even if we are not chanting good. He sees our effort to chant better. But sometimes I don’t put any effort to chant because I want to finish my rounds quick to do more service. I don’t have any taste. How can i understand this if the chanting is considered as a service to Krishna too?

HpS - Answer above, no? And how to get the BG 10.10 mentioned, there? [[[Call "Hare Krsna, Hare Rama"}}} If you chant minimum 16-nice rounds on beads then ALLL the other services will improve at the maximum possible speed!

On the other hand, I want to read again like I used to, but I can't find the time to do it.
I put all my energy in the service, sleeping little bit, and when I have a "free" moment I'm so tired, without energy that I only want to take a rest and even trying to read, I fall asleep.

How can I looking for a balance ? I'm happy doing service but I think that my whole sadhana is not the best.

I'm very happy and anxious to see you on January! :)

My respects,

Hare Krshna!

ys,

Belen.

ASA - Milk, milk to quench His thirst. Which one shall I get for Krsna first?

[Website :: Blog] Annual Reports

Hare Krishna Dear Guru Maharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

How are you all?

We are good. Sridham Mayapur is very merciful.

Thank you that you sent Caitanya Caritamrita Prabhu to meet me here, it was huge inspiration to meet him.

HpS - AGTSP! [Today] I just paused to call CCP and his good wife and they were on the way to the Houston Park. He says that your good wife is a good cook and taking good care of you. We discussed it and decided that maybe he was inspiring the same way Gajendra's luck might be inspiring.

From Monday I am starting to work with TOVP (planetarium), to help them to create good database and Madana Priya is taking care about our garden.

Have you got a top-floor apartment or are people marching up and down on your roof chanting Japa.

Fortunatelly nobody is walking up and down on our roof, seems I am only one who chants on our roof. :)

Are you a 22nd degree Kung Fu master of Hare Krsna Ryu?

No, I couldn't manage energetically and emotionally with other duities, so sadly I decided to stop. But I have 3rd degree black belt in Run Fu :)

HpS - In USA we get "Yellow Belts".

You can see we are getting ready for South America.

Can you erase all the Reports from last year?

Done. (There are 2 from June and 1 from this month, which I didn't delete.)

But just realized it deleted also all comments which were just published [info in next paragraph].

Also, when we give our comments it says that the admnistrator has to approve them. You will do that? Do the comments go public or only to the Reporter?

I am sorry for that, when I was testing it I used super user who has automatically all permissions, but seems I didn't test it with your account who was till now missing permission to skip moderation queue for comments. It is fixed now and all unpublished comments are published (of course without me reading them).

If by some chance you see some problem with website, please let me know and I will try to fix it as soon as I can.

You can answer in the Blog! That way everyone sees the transactions.

Done.

Your servant Prahlad Nrsimha Das

HpS - The Comments can go just to the Reporting Disciple, not to everyone?

Our plan is to Monkey and Uncle Gismo's vote is to Drop the Ax on Christmas Day and anyone who hasn't Reported by then will be cast into the Outer Darkness where they must Wail and Gnash their Teeth Eternally.

Then we will gather the Good Disciples into our Fold and answer all the Reports before we shove off for Peru.

Send us news from Time-to-Time. Have Mataji describe Her garden and what it says. Sell herbs!

AGTSP
Paoho

Our brother in Seattle sent this too us. It's very sweet.

========================================================

(Irish Luck - Remember to send it back!)

I want this back. It DOES work.
His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog.

There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death.

The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.

'I want to repay you,' said the nobleman. 'You saved my son's life.'

'No, I can't accept payment for what I did,' the Scottish farmer replied waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel.

'Is that your son?' the nobleman asked.

'Yes,' the farmer replied proudly.

'I'll make you a deal. Let me provide him with the level of education my own son will enjoy. If the lad is anything like his father, he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of.' And that he did.

Farmer Fleming's son attended the very best schools and in time, graduated from St Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted

Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.

Years afterward, the same nobleman's son who was saved from the bog was stricken with pneumonia. What saved his life this time? Penicillin.

The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill ... His son's name?

Sir Winston Churchill

Someone once said:
What goes around comes around.

Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
Dance like nobody's watching.
Sing like nobody's listening.
Live like it's Heaven on Earth.

It's National Friendship Week. Send this to everyone you consider A FRIEND.

Pass this on and brighten some ones day.

AN IRISH FRIENDSHIP WISH:
I hope it works...
May there always be work for your hands to do;
May your purse always hold a coin or two;
May the sun always shine on your windowpane;
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain;
May the hand of a friend always be near you;
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
And may you be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows you're dead..

OK, this is what you have to do... Send this to all of your friends.
But - you HAVE to send this within 1 hour from when you open it!
Now.....Make A wish!! I hope you made your wish!

Now then, if you send to:
1 person --- your wish will be granted in 1 year
3 people --- 6 months
5 people --- 3 months
6 people --- 1 month
7 people --- 2 weeks
8 people --- 1 week
9 people --- 5 days
10 people --- 3 days
12 people --- 2 days
15 people --- 1 day

20 people --- 3 hours

If you delete this after you read it, you will have 1 year of bad luck!
But, if you send it to 2 of your friends, you will automatically have 3 years good luck!!!

Manipuri Wonders

All Glories to Sri Guruji Maharaja and Gouranga Mahaprabhu

Radha Krsna Ki Jay and Goura Bhakta Ki Jay

I am submitting my humble obeisances unto Guru Maharaja's padmacharan that if any ISKCON bhaktas can not go to Mandir daily but following strictly the four principles, chanting complete 16 rounds, rising up early morning and reading one or more religious books and someone is going in the nearest mandir daily but doing nothing of ISKCON rules and systems. Which one is better?

HpS - ASA -- AGTSP! Paoho. Seems that the first one is better but you should look at Srila Prabhupada's Purport to Madhya 15.108 of the Caitanya-caritamrta.

If an initiated devotee following all the rules externally, but has offensive mind toward Krsna or devotees then his service is bad and he is falling away, but if a simple person who does not know what the good activities, four principles, are or because of the reactions of his Karma is still forced to do bad things, but sincerely WANTS to change and has humble attitude to Krsna and devotees then his position is better, no? He is coming closer and Krsna likes His service. He washes off the external dirt and eats the offering.

So each case is individual, but in general we should see the external character is good as well as the heart!

To follow and perform some duties is far far easier then to collect bhaktas and run a mandir. But, if the systems are not in the pattern of ISKCON, then What is the spiritual development of going to such mandirs run by non vegitarians?

The traditional goudiya veisnaba bhaktas who have taken initiated in a local Brahmana Guru and going Sundays in the Mandir, but the Guru and the bhakta is a non vegitarian and not following the four principles of ISKCON. Which is better for such bhaktas and ISKCON bhaktas who had taken initiated and following the four principles strictly but not going to above such mandir regularly?

HpS - As you are describing it then the ISKCON devotees are doing very well. Yes, we should try to preach to the non-veg Bhaktas to change their habits. See SB 1.17.38. If such an ISKCON Bhakta has an altar in his home we should consider that is probably a better Temple than a Temple where the Bhaktas are still doing these Kali-karma things described in 1.17.38, no?
Preach to them.

Get them to understand and change. Then let Manipur help the whole world!!!!

Thank you so much for you letters and association. Dandavats to all the devotees. Thank you even for your Tilak Laddus!

PLEASE WRITE TO THE BLOG!!
