Our eyes are really strained. We see so many letters we would like to read, but it is 8.51PM on Radha astami and our body is finished. We opened several and glanced at them. Very important. Interesting, but no strength here. If we just chant Hare Krsna at the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada we will get all knowledge what to do, who to be, no?

We have been working to pack for six months in a small town in Peru. We can take our under-the-set bag and two suitcases of 50-pounds each.

• What should we take?
• What is the essence of our office here?
• What will we be doing there?
• What things can we get there?
• What things will get dried out if we do not take them?
• How can we pack everything safely and efficiently?
• How much do the cases weigh now?
• Where can we even get good suitcases????

Made Radha-Krsna lunch: Two ripe mangos; chopped celery with Mrs. Desai's superexcellent home-made yogurt and fresh walnuts, salt and pepper; boiled split peas; frozen banana puree!

Now hot milk and Krsna book.

Tomorrow we will try to finally close the suitcases, [It was extra big challenge to pack the camera and other valuable things in the cabin bag 🙂] and pack up the auto for six months [we should put the battery on a trickle charger timed to come on for one hour each day].

We got news from Mother Subra devi dasi that Caitanya-caritamrta Das, her esteemed husband, our esteemed disciple, friend, had to be taken the Veteran's Administration hospital for emergency gastro-intestinal surgery. It seems to have been successful and his old machine will have some service ability for some few more days.

Saranga thakura Das [temple president] was so kind that he took them there are stayed with Mataji.

Later M. Guru bhakti Devi Dasi, doctor, was with SDD in the hospital.

Then we called Dr. Samaresha and had about 1/2-hour discussion with him. We was very much lamenting that he has seen no serious academic publication coming out of ISKCON for the 125th anniversary of Srila Prabhupada's birth.

Hawaii SB class at 11AM. Puranjana is seeing his skin, muscles, marrow and in blazing fire from old age / death, and lamenting for them.

Madana mohana Das inspired us with the realization that hearing about these things gives us practical perspective on how to understand them as we go near to death. Fasting on Ekadasi is going nearer to death, no?

Then our gardener, St. Michael came and we paid him $120 for cutting and trimming the yard 3-times. We had a very nice discussion about the city water supply and flood storms. His day job is managing the water pumping for the City. Was really enlivening understand the system and the person behind the water we drink.

One time we both thank the Supreme Person in the Sky for things.

Chanted 21 rounds today. All caught up from the chaos of Janmastami except for 2-rounds.

Walk with NgD, Dr. Desai and Vijaya Narain. 8-pm FEP in the Radha Natabara Sanga with them and Rama-giri-dhari Das etc.

Ekadasi Vrata, Ki Jai!

Seems we had a good day today, but there is no room to rest-on-our-laurels for even a moment. Have to carry right on with the next step.

Too late to look at the mail except for emerncy items.

It is rather stressful for our tiny selves when Academy members send messages through Whatsapp and not the Blog (unless they are emergency letters [like telling us to look for a message in the Blog])

We took about an hour to answer the "Urgent" Blog posts and Whatsapp letters.

Now we chant HK/HR

and dream of Krsna.
