AGTSP!
paoho & bw.....  How are you all?
We just answered 8-letters and one short phone call. It took us 48-minutes. That's 48/9 = 5.33333 minutes per letter. Pretty good.
We are feeling pretty good.
We mowed the lawn, listened to Hawaii class, cooked for Lord Nrsmha deva, finished the Tpp-Cb 9 to page 46, helping GMD get his Commercial Driver's License, making new passport application, 47-minutes of Yahoo mail, fighting THE WITCH in our life and the lives of devotees. Really, she is very nice person. She is trying her best to help us go back to Krsna. She loves Krsna. Durga devi (Subhadra).

6.41PM getting dark. Health is pretty good. Hot and humid here. Some allergy. How is Radhika Devi Dasi in (?) England, and here health?
We rubbed our eyes for about three minutes with careful depth intensity and they have felt a whole lot better since then!

O.K. We got interrupted on the middle of this DTC for a 15-minute emergency call about misunderstandings between devotees. Hare Krsna!
Hare Krsna!!!!

 A G T S P !
(paoho & bw)

Brother Ass is EXHAUSTED! Yesterday:
Mangala-arati with Ganga-mantri Das
Pack - 5.30AM off to NGD house
Peru BhVai Class
San Jose BhVai Class
Organize and Direct Annual NIOS Board Meeting with seven present and five on conference call.
Help set up 30-foot Symposium Tent and Chairs, Tables and sound system.
Rest.
Prayyyyy to Indra to not rain (but it did rain (before the symposium (and not after that (and then it was cool during the event))))!
Receive the Imam from the local Mosque
Pioneer the Symposium and help Manage it.
Say farewell to Imam (great! Discussion and we will talk more, we learned that Sufis are not some marginal, abused Muslim group, but they were there from the very beginning, in the Great Mosque of Sophia, and that is why they were called, "Sufi"). He discussed liking steak as opposed to us liking vegetables, but after the Symp. he asked, "So you are strict vegetarian"... "Yes"... "Being vegetarian gives you good health", he said! We will meet more.
Joined the end of the 12-hour Kirtan.
30-cars out front.
Blew the conch shell and did the Arati at 6PM and then everyone joned the Feast with a great roar... Home to our cave, crash, not a minute for Japa! (Krsna even hid our bead bag (but up early and 16-rounds before Mangala arati(((.

Now it's 7.30PM.
Went for a walk with NGD, 44minutes door to door as always.
Plotting plans and took some dokla and V-8 juice Prasadam after consulting with Lord Nrsimha deva and Hanuman.

Hare Krsna . Hare Rama.

A little bird writes:
I have a hard time understanding people some time, sometimes it is better to remain silent and be though a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
We apes respond:
But attentive. Perk up your ears and listen. Listen deeply. Ask questions or make comments like a doctor saying, "Stick our your tongue, let me look at your eyes".
"Nobody every listened himself out of a job", Calvin Coolidge.
Of course, Draupadi did not know why all these strange things were happening. She howled and complained, but she never lost faith that Krsna was ultimately in control and in the end she saw things adjusted in a way that was so cosmic and so deep that she could not have imagined it.
Stay on board the ship.
Try to understand people.
Even if you can't don't give up faith. Krsna knows why things are happening.

[7.36PM Dark as the inside of a goat outside. Ganga-mantri just showed up. He stays in his van in the yard and baths and lounges inside.]

Hare Krsna Hare Rama. Krsna's pastimes are so, so much fun. He is expanding them everywhere! Join in the fun. Become a demon killer for Gauranga!

Let us look at all the letters from today and a few from yester-years. Now that this Annual NIOS Symposium has come to a successful conclusion we turn to the Celebrate Nashville Festival next month. Then we have no commitments until 31st December.
So, we can write. Publish.
Our eyes have been giving us a lot stress lately. See if it clears up.

9.25PM. Just finishing letters in NGD's home. It is very, very hot in the day on our Ashrama, so can only work with fan directly blowing on us. Sometimes it is like being a loaf of bread being cooked in the oven. We are thinking about buy an air conditioner.

Just like all of you, we have lots of physical pressure, lusty pressure from our senses, pressure from our godbrothers and family.

Hare Krsna! Hare Rama! Chant and be happy.

We were able to answer a few nice letters.

Tomorrow is our 12-hour Kirtan. Is a lot of work to organize it and an academic symposium. We are not pushing as much as before.  To quote Patrakito, "Don't go where people ignore you, but where they adore you".

Today 11AM Hawaii class was heavy and tommorrow we present BhVai review. Jaya!

We are winning!

AGTSP........ . . .   Paoho.. . . . .
A very nice devotee we have known, for many years, Ganga-mantri Das, has come to visit Nashville and really is looking to re-locate here. We had very nice discussions with him last night and this morning. He parked his van next to our mobile home and used the shower and we had morning program together.

Is hot here, 85% F. Puts pressure on us when we try to work but with the fan is not too bad.

Really getting settled after this tour. We did 14-citys in 5 weeks.

We checked in with Saranga thakura Das in Houston. Patrakito asked for details. We basically talked about the contacts that we made while traveling, devotees who wanted to start schools or who might be able to be North American Ministry Regional Respresentatives.

We also discussed the Calendar for January and February. Looks good for Rama-giridhari Das, Executive Secretary for Ministry, to visit Chile last week in January, first week in February. The essence of education is ecstacy and the essence of ecstacy is congregational chanting of the glories of the Lord.

Then we had to help move the tent for our 12-hour Kirtan and symposium for next weekend and were busting our brains to plan for the Celebrate Nashville Festival next month.

Finally, we mostly caught up on our essays for Canto Five for Bhakti-vaibhava. It is fun but our eyes just can't handle the computer anymore. Seems like we are more useful hearing things from people and giving our opinion over the phone.

Hare Krsna Hare Rama.

Our internet connection in the office is down but AT&T says they will have it working by Wednesday. Then we can use Start Meeting more for on-line Japa etc! We are doing this at Nitai-gaurasundara Das' home at 8.51PM. Every night we go for a walk in the same route. It always amazes me. It is like exactly 44.5 minutes every time! Amazing! Five minutes faster or five minutes slower???  No, exactly 44.5.

O.K. We answer one letter and then head to our cottage.

Oh! The TppCB8 is ready to ship. Anyone want a plain copy for reading and distribution?

Jaya Radhe!  Hare!
