Answered letters until our eyes and head ache.  Happy, funny!  Got 25-letters left to answer. Caught up to one month and two weeks ago.

Looking at recent letters and answering Hot, Urgent, ones right away.

              It's 5.29PM.    Sun is casting long shadows. Was hot today. We finished reading "Journey to the West", "Sun Wu Kong" for the second time today. We think we must have been Chinese monks in our last life time. We are so attached to Chinese culture.

!We are natives of Guam!

Health is O.K. For a 66 year old donkey, he is moving pretty good.  We have reduced our Japa down to 16-rounds per day and trying to get a regular rythm with Nitai-gaurasundara Das and local devotees. Everyday we have Mangala arati on Startmeeting.com at 4.30AM and then read NOD and then usually Japa Joe until 5.30AM. That's good. One hour.

                 We are working on the Oct/4 Celebrate Nashville Festival. We need blow-ups and Flyers for our Booth. Cookies. A drama of 20-minutes with the children. We are trying to do The Blindmen and the Elephant. Google it.

Guess we'll put more in the "Kapi Dhvaja" Tuesday.

Here we are in Nitai-gaurasundara Das' home. It is 8.51PM. It is a comfortable place. Nice furniture and devotional art everywhere! He is sitting six feet from me writing on his tablet. During the day he is now Director of the Well-Point psychiatric hospital and especially focuses on Geriatric Psychiatry, dementia etc in old people.

Since we will all be old people, unless we die before finishing this DTC, we might need his help.

They have about sixty beds in the hospital and they show a lot of biography movies in the recreation rooms during the daytime. It helps the older Karmis, Christians et al, to see how other people have lived their lives and then try to organize their own self-image before death.

We are working very hard.

It is killing us!

Of course, if we don't commit suicide for Krsna then we will commit suicide for The Witch.

Tpp-Cb/9 is finished except for the Preface. Who wants a copy in their mail box? This will probably be the last hard-copy. Uncle Gismo bought a printer/scanner and Monkey and Piggy have learned how to use it. Monkey with a scanner.

We are answering all the current letters. You can see that. Some very interesting letters. We have letters from one-month, three-weeks ago to catch up. We have one page and three letters on the second page to answer.

We have a headache. Have to be careful because at our age a brain stroke is possible.

Such fun!     We hope all the new babies are getting good care. We will be in their position after wee need the Geriatric care. Of course, we will all take birth in ISKCON in the future!

We hope everyone is peaceful in their ISKCON Guru relations. Now we are absorbed in getting ready for the Celebrate Nashville Festival. It is October 4th.

Then we will turn to Carl Jung.

Only trip looks like a weekend in Chicago in November. Then South America for January!

We just answered as many letters as we could on Yahoo and Monkey Warrior. Ooof! Our eyes get permament strain from too much computer, so we have to be careful.
This is our last day of this USA Tour. We have visited 14-cities in 5-weeks and had very good results. We had to do a lot more individual consulting that we planned for, but what can you do? The questions are good, the devotees are sincere. By talking with a devotee, if you can convince then not to have and abortion was it time well spent?
So, consultations used up our margin of extra time and then the Mahabharata class for Radha desa has pushed us too far. Of course we got a fever because we were so stressed . . . but . . . this ISKCON Yoga is so, so great that we really recovered fast and did 78% service while it was at it's worst.

Now, now, now it it 12.56PM. Better stop for Gayatri. Max Meirs left his body last week. He was our good friend. Good friend to a lot of people. Artist. Met Srila Prabhupada and had an out of body experience when he was in front of him. Gave us Lord Nrsmhadeva. He gotta have a better birth next!

HpS - ASA --- 99.999% of any good qualties that we have, at least, are coming from the mercy of Srila Prabhupada. If some of that can reach you through him, then that is wonderful.

We just answered 8-letters and one short phone call. It took us 48-minutes. That's 48/9 = 5.33333 minutes per letter. Pretty good.
We are feeling pretty good.
We mowed the lawn, listened to Hawaii class, cooked for Lord Nrsmha deva, finished the Tpp-Cb 9 to page 46, helping GMD get his Commercial Driver's License, making new passport application, 47-minutes of Yahoo mail, fighting THE WITCH in our life and the lives of devotees. Really, she is very nice person. She is trying her best to help us go back to Krsna. She loves Krsna. Durga devi (Subhadra).

6.41PM getting dark. Health is pretty good. Hot and humid here. Some allergy. How is Radhika Devi Dasi in (?) England, and here health?
We rubbed our eyes for about three minutes with careful depth intensity and they have felt a whole lot better since then!

O.K. We got interrupted on the middle of this DTC for a 15-minute emergency call about misunderstandings between devotees. Hare Krsna!

Pack - 5.30AM off to NGD house

San Jose BhVai Class
Organize and Direct Annual NIOS Board Meeting with seven present and five on conference call.
Help set up 30-foot Symposium Tent and Chairs, Tables and sound system.
Rest.
Prayyyyy to Indra to not rain (but it did rain (before the symposium (and not after that (and then it was cool during the event))))!
Receive the Imam from the local Mosque
Pioneer the Symposium and help Manage it.
Say farewell to Imam (great! Discussion and we will talk more, we learned that Sufis are not some marginal, abused Muslim group, but they were there from the very beginning, in the Great Mosque of Sophia, and that is why they were called, "Sufi"). He discussed liking steak as opposed to us liking vegetables, but after the Symp. he asked, "So you are strict vegetarian"... "Yes"... "Being vegetarian gives you good health", he said! We will meet more.
Joined the end of the 12-hour Kirtan.
30-cars out front.
Blew the conch shell and did the Arati at 6PM and then everyone joned the Feast with a great roar... Home to our cave, crash, not a minute for Japa! (Krsna even hid our bead bag (but up early and 16-rounds before Mangala arati(((.

Now it's 7.30PM.
Went for a walk with NGD, 44minutes door to door as always.
Plotting plans and took some dokla and V-8 juice Prasadam after consulting with Lord Nrsimha deva and Hanuman.

Of course, Draupadi did not know why all these strange things were happening. She howled and complained, but she never lost faith that Krsna was ultimately in control and in the end she saw things adjusted in a way that was so cosmic and so deep that she could not have imagined it.

Let us look at all the letters from today and a few from yester-years. Now that this Annual NIOS Symposium has come to a successful conclusion we turn to the Celebrate Nashville Festival next month. Then we have no commitments until 31st December.

Our eyes have been giving us a lot stress lately. See if it clears up.
