We were reading BG chapter 6 and I don't understand well the difference between the concepts of  brahma bhuta and samadhi.

Can you explain further please?

HpS - AGTSP.   paoho.  Yes.   When we stay in our cave in Nashville we can answer letters. The only human contact we have is when we go to our walk with NGD in the evening, but when we travel we are in contact with new people constantly  and need to talk about things.   Letters and personal contact. How to balance.

So nice to write to people, to you.

About 11-men, scholars, professors, are here in our rented luxury flat in Lima for the conference. They are so nice, so much stimulating each other. Then when we go to the public program they, we, all want to hear their public presentations.

Hope this network can contribute something to help the world.

https://www.vedabase.com/en/bg/18/54      -   This comes to mind.  Samadhi means to fix the mind on one thing.    Brahma bhuta means Brahman realization, there is a reality, I don't die, but there is no Paramatma, universal, congnizeable reality eg. Male and Female is an Eternal Reality.   I can know it.  Then if I apply that eternal knowledge I get eternal happiness. Sati, Cit, ANANDA.

Samadhi may mean to fix the mind, in a superficial, general sense, upon the Deity. Then there is no material relation, no sufering. It is  the beginning. Then..  I can meditate, Samadhi, on Krsna's smile, mercy, power.  More like Cit.   O.K?

We have been with a lot of things, preparing our next year trip to India with people (in feb. we took 7 people), organizing our Yoga teacher training & Ayurveda counsultant Courses, studying, etc. We are so happy to know you´re coming to Chile soon. 

We are honoured again to host a class from you here in our school, and we will like to know which subjects/topics you would like to address. 

We are working a lot with,obviously, Yoga and Ayurveda, but also with Bhakti Yoga, vedic psychology, health in all it´s aspects, Bhagavad Gita, etc.

HpS - Tried, AGTSP... paoho..., to respond to this two days ago but it kept bouncing.  Try again.   Also responded through Carlos.   Basically you know the audience and our talents well enough to suggest some topics.   We can only suggest that you Shoot for the Rhinocerous.  Think about the most wonderful result of the program would be e.g. the President of Peru comes to the program with the Minister of Education, and design the program that way.

We are adjusting a couple of specific dates because the confirmed Maha Visnu Swami's visit (6 to 12th November), and also taking on consideration your feedback. So, now here are the updates and the only urgent question is in bold (is urgent because is connected with the November 3^rd Saturday program).

We proposed your two titles to the temple president and he is happy not just with them also with your consideration of his proposals.

We added the Upadesamrita 10 to the subtitle to the 31st November program about Radha Kunda.

Regarding the community retreat, we are thinking that could be too much if we have a workshop and if we spend the night there. Actually, Is in red in the visual calendar because is not completely confirmed. We are thinking with Arjuna and Priyasakhi how to do it. Maybe somewhere close to the temple, and even more simple.

Now, the first important change is the November 3rd, Saturday program. Now, the project of the “new Temple” in Maipú would be this day. The reason is an invitation to you for the next Saturday, which is below.

We also changed the spiritual family breakfast to this Sunday, 4th November because of you noticing us about the fasting of the next Sunday.

Maha Visnu Swami

Now, we received the confirmation of the visit of the Maha-Visnu Swami with the Harinama Ruci Group. So, we offer him to give the class of the Prabhupada's Night, November Friday 9th, and his disciples took it happily.

Now, this is the question. The Chilean harinam team are managing a Maha-Harinama with Maha Visnu Swami in Viña del Mar (very close to Valparaíso) and they are dreaming with the possibility that you could join them there. They know already about the flags. Do you think that is possible for you to participate in this Harinama? They rent a bus for 45 devotees already. To take more advantage of this trip we could manage a little program for the devotees who are living in this city, to encourage them more, maybe a lunch or something similar. This final, is just my idea, Maybe is not the best.

HpS - ASA -- Seems we could go and chant. We come and go in one day?  Lot of work. Must have time for resting as well as working.    Conflict is: EVERY SATURDAY we have a SB workshop online. It is from 8.30-9.30AM Nashville (Houston) hour, which is 10.30-11.30AM Santiago hour, as far as I understand. We can do this workshop?

And finally, Maharaja is agrees with to have a double class with you to the Srila Prabhupada Disappearance Festival. What do you think?

Now, I think that we are reaching the final edition of this calendar. Last year we had this “almost final edition” too much early, excuse me for that.

I am very happy to have shared so many days with you in Spain. Thank you very much! You are a very special person, I hope to serve you and your mission to Srila Prabhupada. I have been reading El Cantar de los cantares and some sermons by Saint Bernard of Clairvaux. Wow! They are really moving writings! They go straight to the heart ...I’m doing a small project of sculpture of the university. It is conceptual sculpture, concept has more value than form. The requirement is that it must be a tetrahedron (a three-sided pyramid). I plan to represent the 3 aspects of the Absolute Truth in the 3 faces of the pyramid.

The Brahman .. peace tranquility, inactivity, I think I will represent it with a light and a clear cloth above ... But I do not have it very clear. The Paramatma, is the guide, the partner who advises, I think I represent it with a blue traffic sign with white arrow. The arrow will point to Bahagavan, the personal aspect, intimate relationship with Krishna. ‘’ Kiss me with the kiss of your mouth ‘This is the most intimate thing you can experience ... Absolute sweetness. So I’m thinking of placing maha prasadam sweets of different flavors on that face of the tetrahedron. Thus the spectators can taste this sweetness, different flavors, different people. The purpose is to show an idea of ​​what the soul can experience in relation to the three different aspects of Krishna. In Brahman there is calmness and peace. The Paramatma accompanies you in the material world and instructs you. With the Supreme Personality of Divinity you can have face-to-face, intimate personal and sweet contact. It is a person, Krishna. So this implies activity, desire, communication. The act of eating a sweet maha involves the person in an activity in which he savors what Krishna has tasted with his lotus mouth. Is almost a kiss!

I am singing 16 rounds, doing spiritual program in the morning at 5 am, mangala arati, japa, reading… Japa whith shehnai in the background. My sister likes to listen that so she approaches to sleep in the next room …. But for the moment does not dare to come to mangala arati.

We have been so sad.....not getting to hear almost anything from Guru Maharaj. We are continuing with our Bhakti sastri classes with HH Bhakti Ananda Haridas Goswami Maharaj.

HpS - We are trying to post DTCs?!!    Are they coming?    And answer some letters here with news for everyone.    Is. O.K.?

We had a wonderful World Harinama Sankirtan week last month. We had miraculous protection from Nrshimha Dev on 4th of September, the day of Srila Prabhupada's Vyas puja...we met with a car accident...we don't know how we escaped unhurt that fateful day. Thank you Guru Maharaj for giving me yet another chance to serve the Lord's devotees.

We are practicing the Rasa dance for next year's kartik purnima. Would Guru Maharaj give us permission to offer the dance for Radha Krishnachandra next year?

We are waiting patiently for Holi sankirtan with Guru Maharaj here at Manipur. We plan to attend the Educational programme at Mayapur . We had been intimidated (? involved?) by Devarshi Prabhuji of Mayapur about the programme. Once we joined Devarshi Prabhuji's seminar on ' Scientific basis of Krishna Consciousness' through Skype and it unlocked some dormant areas of my sleepy frontal lobe.

Tomorrow we are planning an interactive programme with some of our medical students with HH Haridas Maharaj at the ISKCON, Manimandir temple.  Banamali Prabhuji and some devotees have left for RadhaKund today for Tirubhav of HH Swarup Damodara which falls on 19th Oct.

We are almost at the end of Canto 2 SB....we are in the 10th chapter...amazes me ,how every part of our body is controlled by different deities.....what we studied in Medicine ended with just arteries,veins and nerves....those were the controlling 'deities' we studied!!

HpS - ASA ---  Thank you so much for the news. Tommorrow a letter from Yamunesvara Das.   Our Calendar is adjusting.  Seems we will be in Mayapura from the 24th February to the 7th March. After that we were thinking of going to the North East. We leave India from Bombay on the 22 March. We would maybe need a day to rest in BBY before we travel. Where do you think we should go? Silchar, Thoubal, Imphal??  We can travel but not too much. Better making nice plan in advance so people can come to see us a accesible places, no?
