I hope you are in good health and at your best together with your associates in Radha Kunda, Vrindavan Dham, Govardhan, it is very gratifying for me to try to follow you.
This year has been very intense for me, even more than the previous ones. The problems with my family of origin are permanent, but I understand that it is the tone of the era, so it's okay, I'm learning to develop more and more my qualities of tolerance and patience, and sometimes the art of defense without violence, a whole challenge for me.
Economically, my businesses have decreased by at least 70%, and I have more expenses than before and less money, I have had to take money from a savings that we have with my daughter to go to India, so that trip will expect. My daughter is fine, studying 2 careers simultaneously in different institutions: vegan cooking and administration. I see her mature for her age, focused and disciplined. She is 19 years old and our relationship is that of a father-daughter and also of friends, we get along well.
This year I have chanted fewer rounds than last year, but I chant at least 4 rounds daily, sometimes 8-10-16; During these last weeks I have improved my sadhana (tonight I will sleep in the temple, we are going with your disciple, Arjuna Das).
I have been without sexual activity during almost 4 years, although I am not celibate by nature, but I know by experience and by watching around me there are always big problems in that area and I could not find a woman who can be a good partner for me, the couple sphere is a field in which I declare myself incompetent, I see that in Kali Yuga it is more easy to get along with illicit sex and no strings attached, but I still resist giving in to temptation, because I think that if I do I will degrade myself and I want to rise up, it is a daily struggle in which sometimes I am about to be defeated by Maya; and the truth is that I want to please you and to be your disciple.
I haven't smoked cannabis for almost 4 months and I don't want any more, I've smoked a lot for 25 years and it happened to me on September 17 (the day I smoked the last one) that I fell into a nonsense inner experience under the effects of THC and I wondered why I did it if I didn't even enjoy it anymore, so that was the last time and I'm really fine, my mind is much clearer and clearer and I feel much better both physically and mentally. I continue working in the NGO of growers and users of medicinal plants and it is a good project to position here in Santiago, we have lawyers and a specialized medical team that supports us.
Thanks to your mercy and that of Srila Prabhupada, my musical project is going super well, I have a top-level work team: a general producer, a beatmaker, a vocal coach (a Venezuelan tenor who is one of the best singers I have ever met, his name is César Pastrán), an audiovisual director (one of the directors of TVN, the state television station and one of the largest in Chile, his name is Pablo Rosales and he has had contact with devotees before and feels attracted to the culture of East and mainly from India). During the 1st fortnight of January I will record the first song in the studio and by the end of January I hope to have the 1st video clip ready, and then to continue working; In a 1st stage I will release 7 songs that, ideally, will all be already published on all platforms during June-July. In a future letter I will tell you more details about this musical project, which today is my priority and my vital project and, as I told you, it is an offering to you and to Srila Prabhupada.
It is very likely that I will go to Mexico City with my daughter to be with you, we are making all the necessary efforts to achieve it. In a future letter I will tell you how these procedures are going.
