Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances.

All glories to His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Śrīla Prabhupāda!

HpS/ASA - AgtSP!!!!! Paoho...... . 🌴..

In Bhagavad-gītā 18.67, our dear Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa says:

“This confidential knowledge may never be explained to those who are not austere, or devoted, or engaged in devotional service, nor to one who is envious of Me.”

My question is: does this restriction refer specifically to the previous verse (18.66), to the preceding few verses (such as 18.64–66), to the entire eighteenth chapter, or to the whole Bhagavad-gītā?

I am asking only if you think the answer could help me in my bhakti-yoga sādhana and that I am capable of understanding it.

"Such persons should not be told of Bhagavad-gītā,"

It seems that the BG includes different levels of confidentiality. Eg. Chapter 10 describes 'vibhutimat sattva', among animals I am the lion, so we can talk to some people about the greatness of lion, or the light of the sun, or Spring.

Then depending on their condition we can go to the situation of the soul as different from the body, then the eternal function of the soul and Supersoul... Then...

... of course Srila Prabhupada mentions 'serving a pure devotee in the Purport, so it may be that a demon does a little service to the devotees in ISKCON for example and that immediately qualifies them to understand hear some things in the Gita.

Of course, hearing about Lord Caitany and His name and associates can also make people pious.

Con respecto a su pregunta: ¿Qué está haciendo Jagannatha Das? Mis respetos.

Primero, muchas gracias por siempre preguntar por Jagannatha Caran. Él ha estado trabajando mucho este año. Uno de sus compañeros se fue a trabajar y vivir a Atlanta, y no han contratado a nadie más. Deben cubrir esas horas.

Ha estado junto a sus hermanos espirituales, organizando la visita de SS Bhakti Sundar Goswami a Santiago para enero 2026. Jagannatha compró ayer el ticket.

HpS - ¿Qué opinas de los grupos de WhatsApp? Muchos dicen que son mejores que Twitter.

Personalmente, twitter era entretenido😊

Para mi era fácil traducir y leer. Para mi es difícil el idioma, pero WhatsApp parece más personal, más cercano.

De todas maneras cualquier propuesta significa mucho para nosotros en términos de Su gran bondad por mantenernos en servicio. Muchas gracias Gurudev.

Participamos de mangal arati y clase de Srimad Bhagavatam para la visita de SS Dhanvantari Swami yen el templo, y de un almuerzo junto a más devotos. Maharaja tuvo que partir antes a Brasil por la muerte de Su madre.

Para Govardhana Puja, participamos del festival en casa de Maha Anandini, y preparamos 30 simplemente maravillosas.

Por último quiero contarle que estuvimos ayudando en una actividad del colegio (curso de Indira), donde teníamos que representar a "India". Cocinamos kachoris y chutney de frutilla, laddus y lassi. El prasadam fue muy apreciado por todos. Se hizo una presentación artística, donde ayudé en varias cosas. Quedamos bastantes cansados, pero ya estamos recuperados 😊. Todo esto fue para Tiro-bhava Mahotsava de Srila Prabhupada, así que por la tarde celebramos en casa de Maha Anandini, junto a más devotos, con abhisek, Guru puja, Damodara, lectura y prasadam (no saqué fotos de esta celebración😔)

Regarding your question: What is Jagannatha Das doing? My respects.

First, thank you so much for always asking about Jagannatha Caran. He has been working very hard this year. One of his colleagues moved to Atlanta to work and live, and they haven't hired anyone else. They have to cover those hours.

He has been with his spiritual brothers, organizing the visit of His Holiness Bhakti Sundar Goswami to Santiago in January 2026. Jagannatha bought the ticket yesterday.

HpS - What do you think of WhatsApp groups? Many say they are better than Twitter.

Personally, Twitter was entertaining 😊 For me, it was easy to translate and read. The language is difficult for me, but WhatsApp seems more personal, more intimate.

In any case, any suggestion means a great deal to us in terms of His great kindness in keeping us in service. Thank you very much, Gurudev.

We participated in mangal arati and a Srimad Bhagavatam class for His Holiness Dhanvantari Swami's visit to the temple, and had lunch with other devotees. Maharaja had to leave early for Brazil due to the death of his mother.

For Govardhana Puja, we participated in the festival at Maha Anandini's house and prepared 30 simply wonderful dishes.

Finally, I want to tell you that we helped with a school activity (Indira's class), where we had to represent "India." We cooked kachoris and strawberry chutney, laddus, and lassi. The prasadam was very much appreciated by everyone. There was an artistic presentation, where I helped with several things. We were quite tired, but we've already recovered 😊. All of this was for Srila Prabhupada's Tiro-bhava Mahotsava, so in the afternoon we celebrated at Maha Anandini's house, along with other devotees, with abhisek, Guru puja, damodara, reading, and prasadam (I didn't take any pictures of this celebration 😔).

Thank you for the Japa Joe sessions, they are so enlightening, inspiring and spiritually healing.

Badly sprained the right hand, but fortunate enough to at least chant painfully. Went to Nabadwip in the beginning of Kartik.

HpS - In IN I N credible. Did you see the terror of the Bhattacharys Nimai Pandit and His gang challenging everyone right and left??

On exam duty at Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, one of the oldest military hospital built by the British in India. After exam duty , we had wonderful, ecstatic kirtan daily . Dibrugarh congregation lead by HG Jadupati Shyam Prabhu is transcendental. In one of the programmes, we were asked to speak on NOI, verse 2 for 10mins. It was indeed Guru Maharaj's mercy that came all the way to my heart. Thank you Guru Maharaj.

HpS - Things and people to avoid!

Back home, we go for house programmes almost daily after our hospital duty. We cover around 4 or 5 houses, kirtan, deepdaan and prasadam. It is a very , very sweet experience....and funny enough, Sri Damodara plays a lot of leela with us...we find His leela soooo sweet.

HpS - Vasanta gi purnima. ooo ooo ooo ... ! Now is Kartika Purnima!!

We try our best to be of some service to our senior devotees. HG Devarshi Prabhu has been kind enough in encouraging me to take up TTC , starting on 15th Nov. We got ourself registered online. Prabhu is also teaching IDC to the congregation members, around 20 of us. Thank you Guru Maharaj for all Your mercy.

Matajis are practicing Vasant raas heart and soul...for Guru Maharaj's offering . Kindly give us Your blessings to serve Guru and Gauranga. We also keep Peru in our heart whenever we think of Vasant raas and Guru Maharaj.

HpS - Be so nice if there can be academic, accredited, regular cultural exchange between Manipur and Peru.

We are reading SB canto 2 in the morning. We continue our evening classes SB canto 4. and followed by Srila Prabhupada Lilamrta .

HpS - Which Chapters, pastimes??

Because we are old and our donkey is lame, we are not doing Diksa, initiation, anymore. We can't handle the Karma from the rituals.

Yet, we are happy to be a Siksa guru for you as we can.

Of course, Srila Prabhupada has never died, he is living in his books and you can have as personal connection with him as anyone ever has had through that media and your sincere efforts to become a servant of Radha Krsna again.

HK Maharaj! How are you!! I’m so glad to hear that you are well, well hope to see you whenever you come to South America. Do you have any specific dates?

Well here I’m in Buenos Aires, here in Argentina we kinda kidding say that Krishna is everywhere but he has his headquarters in Buenos Aires hahahahahahha because well it’s the financial and political capital city.

I’ve never been so thankful for living here, I have plenty of friends and sportive activities to do, temple, and well over all you breath a sense of friendliness.

You know I’ve been journaling for quite a while, what I do write is my praise to Krishna, I just talk to him, worship him by words, express my own feelings, and many times I feel much more thrilled in that devotional activity, more than with the japa, so that’s why I was asking about spontaneous prayers while chanting japa, sometimes I feel inclined to pray in the “Christian” way whilst chanting the holy name.

Please give us your blessings Maharaj so we can become pure devotees in this very lifetime.
