Hare Krishna Maharaja, please kindly accept my most humble obeisances; All glories to his divine grace, Srila Prabhupada; All glories to your tireless efforts in the service of Sri Sri Guru & Gauranga.

We gathered this evening for kirtan and prasadam in my home, as we do every Saturday afternoon/evening: Sri Hari, Sriman Chandra prabhu and myself.  After the kirtan we had some lively Krishna katha discussing some highlights from the Sriman Bhagavatam, and then I had inquired about next weekend, seeing as how it is Gaura Purnima Sunday.  Then his grace, Sri Hari prabhu gives me this outrageous request to present some sort of study guide on the pastimes of Lord Chaitanya, perhaps from the Sri Chaitanya Bhagavat in honor of the occasion.  

I have only 2 books of the Chaitanya Bhagavat, but what really bothers me is that I was NEVER any good in writing any sort of term paper.  In fact, it was always a painstaking, devastating task for me to compile such things, throughout all of my high school years and on into my one year of college.  I felt trapped and helpless at Sri Hari's suggestion because of his sincerity, and I didn't know how to offer some sort of refusal, so I accepted the service, but not without great anxiety due to my weakness.  

If I am going to really do this service in a nice way it will only be because of your blessings.  So, is it alright if I do this service, given my ignorance and weakness?  If you give your blessings, then I can attempt this task with the hope that all the devotees will be pleased.  I anxiously await your reply: Hare Krishna.

                    ASA-Monkey --- AGTSP. Esteemed "lowly servant", thank you for your letter, it is so nice. Are you starting a Reading Group?  If it is just three people them you don't need much of Study Guides. What might work better is for everyone to read, take notes and then compare notes when you get together. Then one Secretary and  collect and type the Notes.

Of course, it can be even easier. Don't even read a fixed assignment in advance, just read when you get together and keep Notes.

Please accept my humble obeisances. I have been trying to write but I am not sure if I did it right. My name is Marco from Monterrey and I have very little in the Hare Krishna Movement (10 months). I am living in the Monterrey Temple and try to chant 16 rounds every day and to follow the 4 principles but Maya is always seducing me with lustful desires, anger and lack of enthusiasm to perform devotional service.

I had the fortune of doing Sankirtan marathon last december in Mexico City. I survived. After that, January was the best month. I was enthusiastic, getting up early, doing extra service, not complaining...I felt great but this eagerness has been diminising little by little. In the last couple weeks I've failed to get up early, finish rounds, etc.

I have to admit my attention is more focused in a mataji I met and I've been making all sorts of plans to be near her. (Move to DF, etc). Maha Sankarsan invited me to work with him at the farm and I asked him if I can do Sankirtan also. We are still adjusting details.

HpS - AGTSP paoho. I think it's nice to hear from you. In general, your devitional career is normal, but of course also very individual. We cannot give detailed advice from such a separation in distance etc, but in general we can suggest what Canakhya Pandit says:

Victory comes from good advice, and good advice comes from many counselors.

1. So, keep a collection of good advisors who know you, the local situation, your associates.

2. Chant Hare Krsna to get Krsna's advice.

3. Read, read, read Prabhupada's books for general and even detailed advice!

1, 2, 3 you will be successful.

In general, you will not be able to understand what marriage is until you are at the level of second initiation. That takes three years normally. Before that if you experiment before that you will generally all survive alive with no fatal burns if you are all strict with the four principles.

If you break the four principles you can create a situation that can ruin your entire life.

Keep your romance within the associacion of a broader family.

Yesterday we had a very nice meeting with NIMSAR and its directory 

Gaura Gadadhara dasi joined us ¡¡¡ JAYA she is going to give the Deity Worship Course with NIMSAR in MAy and she is also presented the possibility of a Yoga Course ¡¡¡

Isvari dd will take charge of the coordination of the Sanscrit course along with Patraka das... LAD is the link with Goloka Education we will study and see in which way we can develop that ...

B German was selected to be in charge of communication in NIMSAR ¡¡¡¡ he also mentioned a very nice tool for preaching little clips from 3 minutes  for example a clip of 3 minutes explainning Who is Lord Jagannatha ¡¡¡¡ We will ask help from Guruvrata das ¡¡¡ B German has already talk with him today ¡¡¡ 

We are just one week from the openning course from Bhakti Sastri and Bhakti Vaibhava

We are really happy to help a little bit in the eternal Sankirtan of Srila Prabhupada and U

At the end we had a very nice prasadam ¡¡¡ in the meetings we laughed and have a very nice talks...

HpS - Jaya! AGTSP. Paoho. Very nice report. We heard that Mother Yugala was traveling on Sankirtan and could not attend and Mother Rohini wants more to do simple administrative work, the testing for Bhakti-sastri.

We answered the Letter to Tutors from LAD.

Seems like NIMSAR is going in the right direction, of course many problems, so we all have to take care of our own spiritual life, sankirtan, individually as well.

1) We are in Jaya-pataka Swami's Zone and he is looking forward to a lot of help in education from us. Ekanatha gaura Das is our link to him. We will meet with Rama-giri-dhari Das in Texas in two days, so we can discuss this, he is Executive Director of Ministry of  Education (MOE) and work on Regional Representative for South America for MOE etc.

2) You are collecting money? In whose name, ASA? What happens to this money? What is the exact detailed agreement? This should be publicly available for comment.

Ya empeze a comentar el capitulo 22, si Usted desea comienzo a publicar en este blog,... una vez por mes?

Esteemed ABC-XYZ Das we have been receiving anxious letters from your good wife about your keeping company with another woman. Of course, the basic principle is to keep our sexual relations simple, Krsna conscious. We only relate to the opposite sex for Krsna's service.

"Kandarpa is the sex desire for presenting good sons; therefore Kandarpa is the representative of Kṛṣṇa. Sometimes sex is engaged in only for sense gratification; such sex does not represent Kṛṣṇa. But sex for the generation of good children is called Kandarpa and represents Kṛṣṇa."

What's happening? ?

We don't see any Annual Report from your good self. Are you fixed in your Japa and the four principles? What can we do for you? Do you want us to act as Diksa or Siksa guru for you?

For us as a Sannyasi of course we cannot go into great details but we can give great general advice, direct you to where to get detailed advice. These discussions should be pubished in a general sense on the Blog.

We are not going Back to Godhead if we don't solve these problems, become members of a sane Vaisnava society. Instead we will become animals again like so many people who have had a chance to engage in religious life, even be Indra or Candra but failed.

I am surely fighting with this and the best thing seems to help each other as our strength permits.

Querido Gurudev  todos mis respectos y reverencias a Ud. he estado intentando comuniarme con Ud pero al parecer no resulta, de todas maneras le seguire escribiendo como Ud me dijo, en algun momento quizas le llegaran mis cartas .

Supe que estaba en India, bueno donde sea que vaya, que Krsna lo proteja.

                HpS - TlgaSP  pfanrh.  Si, viaje sin internet para tres semanas y trantando recuperar energia por la ultimo.

Han habido muchos cambios ultimamente, una de las buenas noticias que queria darle es que estoy embarazada. Estamos muy felices por eso.

               HpS - Jaya! La proximo Acharya. Vasudeva y Devaki (Ooops! Kamsa??!)

Bueno y lo otro es que mi esposo y yo vamos en camino al norte de Chile para hacer un sankirtan viajero, aprovechando que por ahora puedo hacerlo...alla nos reuniremos con otro matrimonio de devotos que tambien estan distribuyendo libros. (Prabhu Mani bandha y Veda vani) tenemos pensado ir a Copipo, Calama e Iquique.

Queria humildemente pedrile sus bendiciones, para poder prestar un buen servicio con una buena conciencia, tanto en la distribucion de libros como en la maternidad que me espera, para lo cual me estoy preparando lo mejor que puedo.

A pesar de todas las dificutades que han habido en mi vida espiritual,  la distribucion de libros a sido el puente fundamental que me ha ayudado a mantenerme intentando mejorar como devota, a cantar mejor mis rondas, a volverme mas estricta en los principios, a poder tener algo util que ofrecerle a Ud. y tantas otras cosas....por eso oro y le pido porfavor sus bendicones para poder seguir colaborando de alguna manera con el sankirtan de Srila Prabhupada que es lo unico que le da un real sentido a mi vida.
