Espero se encuentre muy bien de salud,

Legue a Sri Dham Mayapur hace exactamente 20 dias.

Me fue a buscar HAridas Prabhu al aeropuerto de Kolkata, de ahi nos fuimos a predicar a un pequeno pueblo cerca de MAyapur y despues lleguamos a Sri Dham MAyapur.

Estoy quedandome en el Brahmacari Asram, la habitacion que nos prestaron es de Bhaktisidhanta Svami que no esta viviendo aqui en Mayapur, pero el la presto para los devotos que se van a ocupar en el servicio del Kirtan.

Comence a estudiar harmonio, termine el 4 canto primera parte y comence a leer en ingles la segunda parte. el libro que me recomendo imitacion de cristo lo comence a leer en Argentina, hasta ahora a sido de lo mejor que he leido sobre Cristianismo, y los otros libros cristianos son buenos(los que he leido), se ve que Krishna les da la Inteligencia.

Una frase que me recuerdo es: el olvido de dios es la suma de la negligencia

Voy a la biblioteca y utilizo los dos SB, uno en ingles y el otro en espaniol y voy acerttando muy pacientemente. Me encanta ese lugar

Muy buena relacion con los Brahmacaris en el Asram, hoy servi el agua a todos los devotos en la prasada

Me impresiono los significados de Srila Prabhupada al 4 canto capitulo 20 los primeros 13 textos, pude entender sutilezas que antes no veia, en algunas cosas estoy por ahi

POr ahora estoy haciendo tres horas de servicio quizas en unas semanas se incremente a seis horas, osea seis horas de kirtan al dia, ahora haciendo solo 3 horas de kirtan, de 4 a 7 pm,  

en este momento estoy reflexionando sobre si la humildad y la sumision son sinonimos , Me gustaria si usted me podria decir algo Gurudev , tambien meditando tercer sloka de siksastaka,sobre el bg 17.14,15,16, tambien en el bg 12.13-14(significados), pienso estoy aprendiendo a ser paciente, bien pensado, servicial, a no opinar con tanta seguridad y a aceptar la misericordia de Krishna dulce y amarga.

aqui en el Dham uno puede ver sus apegos miedos etc con claridad

el cuerpo se me esta acostumbrando todavia al clima y la comida (la comida me cae bien, pero tengo poco fuego digestivo y puedo comer una vez al dia)

Cuando viene a Sri MAyapur Gurudev?

Pienso la esencia es entrar muy profundamente en una relacion particular con Senor Caitanya.

Humildad y sumision? Realmente tenemos que llegar al Sanskrito para un comparasion, no? A veces Prabhupada utiliza la palabra sumision para "specific esoteric states of consciousness."

Gracias por responder mi carta. lei que Usted contaba que su salud esta mejor y me alegro. Los comentarios que hice ultimos son mios unicamente. Estamos bien  ,poco a poco entendemos las diferencias de cultura y formas de crianza y eso nos ayuda a entendernos mejor. Gopalito  cumplio dos años el 15 de mayo. hace gaura artik con nosotros y se postra y hace reverencias como nostros frente a nuestro altar de krsna balarama y los gopales : ladu gopal y chori gopal.

Encontramos una musica linda de los tres primeros  versos del siksastaka y estoy intentando hacerla en danza.

Chapters 4 to the end

Wow! I am impressed greatly by the given text. Such a nice summary of KC which although a summary is very profound – having and sharing intellectual penetration and emotional depth. 

(In a way) it was an easier reading then starting chapter which was dealing with different studies of ISKCON.  Maybe because the content was more familiar.

 I could highlight all the text from these chapters. It would be a one big note of KC, about KC. It is nicely presented, I guess also scholarly (that I cannot comment as do not have much experience with academic texts). I was shaken to the bones (tears) by reading the explanation about Krsna’s love calling. This book gives a strong impetus to read, study and apply SP’s books in one’s own life. With respect I proclaim my gratitude to TKG and Garuda Prabhu for such a wonderful work.

As all this said let me share some points and questions:

• Paribhasa sutra of SB not only controls all other SB texts but also other Puranas (Does it for other Vedic texts?).
  HpS - ASA - I would guess so. All the Vedas are looking for God and of all the incarnations the best one to find is Nanda nandanan!
• Seva is said (by whom?) to be the meaning of bhaj, bhakti’s root.
  I don't know. The Nirukti and Amara kosa are two dictionarys that Srila Prabhupada quotes.
• TKG:”Srila Prabhupada, how many are there pure devotees in the world?”. SP: ”75 (which was number of ISKCON members [initiated or not] at the time)”.
• Followed the texts of two footnotes:
  1. SP lecture :”Spiritual aesthetics”, where SP depreciates the need for musical expertise and knowledge of Sanskrit pronunciation to chant HK and kirtan,
  and
  2. Kesava Bharati Goswami’s story of his mother taking to bhakti yoga on the end of her life after a life of disapproval.
• Question: What is SP's final order about association with his godbrothers and their organizations ? Can ISKCON devotees get inspiration from them or will  get confused?
  Of course, even in the NoI there is the comment that he was surrounded by neophyte Godbrothers who nothing about spreading Krsna consciousness and rather tried to pull the preachers down to their level. Besides that I don't remember anything very specific in his books that Prabhupada said. I think there is the general discrimination of identitfying people in any tradition according to their advancement, NOI 4-6, and then associating according to that principle, no?

I am going to recommend this book heartily to everyone (who is ready to deal with academic wordings).

HpS - ASA - We are about half way through the book. It is hard for us to read because of the small type, but we also find it very delightful. I think the earlier parts are more stimulating to us becuase we lived through the cult-contoversy era and have personal experience of the academic things he cites. The thing that has been the most stimulating to us to far has been in the section on Pramana, evidential sources, where TKG lists all the specific books that Prabhupada was using to write his purports. Also, we are impressed with the volume of reading that he has done. Knowing Maharaja as I did a little bit I think that he may have had many research assitants reading and reporting for him also.
The book does seem essential to our academic preaching, establishing Prabhupada as a Theologian, not just a clever hippy cult leader.

I'm doing fine regarding my sadhana. I cachted up my rounds, principles o.k. mangalartik at home o.k.

My personal life is boring, so next time, I'll start my sankirtan reportes.

The understanding of Bhagavad-gītā is so transcendental that anyone who becomes conversant with the topics of Arjuna and Kṛṣṇa becomes righteous and he cannot forget such talks....The result of Kṛṣṇa consciousness is that one becomes increasingly enlightened, and he enjoys life with a thrill, not only for some time, but at every moment.

                HpS - ASA - AGTSP paoho. The Mahabharata and the battle of Kuruksetra are in the material world, no?

And if reciprocation is continually every day then we will be in that mode  continuously, correct!! And this two way of reciprocation, will always make us realize that we are with
    Lord always.

HpS - As you present the idea seems correct. What do you think of NOI 8? It helps you with your ideas. We can be with Krsna all the time in a relationship in Vaikuntha, but maybe we can do even better service in Ayodhya!
