Hare Krishna
All glories to Srila Prabhupda.

Dear Gurudeva, please, accept my obeisances. It's me, Bhakta Germán, from Perú. I hope you're in good health.

HpS - ASA - AGTSP! We are fine, better daily, but right now weird stomach pains.

Let me thank you, again for letting me serve you during the time you've been in Lima. This experinece was the key for the understanding of many things about seva, renunciation, learning and love for Krsna and His devotees. Please, don't misunderstand my words. I'm just starting to realize this concepts, they will take a lot of time to become into significant knowledge.Only, after you left, I've started to appreciate the answers, details and the new questions that have arisen. Thank you very much.

It was so nice to be with you!

I want to tell you that Laksman Agraja Prabhu invite me to take part of the NIMSAR directory. Very surprising and very exciting! We just had one meeting, on Saturday is the next and makes me happy. Teaching and learning is an integral part in my life, thanks to your disciples for giving me sucha an opportunity. I have some ideas for fullfilling the gap between the philosophical interestes of the new people and the Introduction to Bhakti Yoga cours that takes one year.Maybe a month and a half course (6 sessions), in wich they can learn about the basic topics of the vaisnava philosophical tradition and also know a little bit about what they are looking and worshiping (the altar), singing (the arati songs) and eating (prasadam).New people sometimes loses interest when nobody explains them what is behind this rituals and beliefs.I don't know if this initiative has to be taken by NIMSAR or the temple's authorities. Maybe, if NIMSAR design this basic course could also preserve the standard. Anyway, I will propose this idea after I work on it a little bit more.

I think they already have a course that is like that they are developing. Please look at it!

I'm getting married tomorrow. We want to put Lord Krsna as a pivot of our life, we understand this concept theoretically, but, how to turn it into a practical realization?

Thank you for your time Guru Maharaja, I beg to Lord Jagannatha for your health.

Hare Krishna

ASA - Marriage is like two people buy a car. Can be very happy thing, but it's not everything. It is meant to take you both to some place else.

More news as you can! Hope for very nice wedding!

Urgent- update in regards to last letter

10 years, 1 month ago by Kamagayatri in Personal Sadhana Reports

Hare Krsna Guru Maharaj,

Please accept my most humble obeisances and all glories to his Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada.

I wanted to give an update in regards to the last letter I sent through this blog if it was recieved. ...

HpS - ASA - AGTSP paoho. It was received by the Robot but we just looked at it because of our old age and travel schedule to India. Thank you.

Aja and I are still 2 hours north of Montreal at the New Vraja Bhumi ashram, acreage.  In the last email, Maharaj, I asked for your blessings for a possible marriage with a prabhu here

In the last week, he has decided after 3 years that he must sell the land and take vana prastha at this time since he is 45 and his health is not well.  We have already moved some of our belongings here and now are trying our best not too 'feel sorry for ourselves' in this situation since prabhu has decided it is not best for him to take on a wife and possibly have a new family at this time.  I remember this summer Maharaj when you said that feeling sorry for ourself is one of the greatest forms of sense gratification.  So at this time I am trying to look at the potential blessings from this situation.  I have learned a lot about home deity worship.  Mangal arati and rounds are steady.  I have had time to homeschool Aja with children's SB curriculum, make prasadam, and read scriptures everyday.  I want to see that Krsna is behind all of this and I am honestly trying to sit back and understand what is our next best move and not be careless (as I may have been before).

Due to the position I am now in, prabhu wants to help financially so I am settled and engaged in a KC community.  I am wanting to take shelter of other devotee association, Balabadhra das and Vedaveyasa Prabhu, Aruddha Mataji.

I am trying my best to read chapter 4.15-4.30 so I can keep up with the BH. Vaib. lectures that I feel very fortunate to be able to attend.  I ask for your blessings and any guidance, critiques, advice you may have so I am not careless but conscious in my new endeavors.

Thankyou for listening Maharaj and please excuse me for my many offenses.

Your aspring servant,

Kamagayatri devi dasi

HpS - ASA - AGTSP paoho. Kali-yuga is a MESS, but just keep up the Japa and principles and you will see that you are actually living in the Satya yuga. Aja has good chance but he also has to make his own decisions. Talk with the local devotees about your situation.

Keep on Blogging. 35-more people are in 87% the same situation as you are and reading what you are doing about it.

DTC - TH (6) - Dr. Samaresh

Esteemed Professor Samaresh Bandyopadhyay et el,

This is your wayward servant, Hanumatpresaka Swami reporting, Thursday, 6th March.

After we talked from Vrndavana we finished our intensely refreshing visit to the Pandits and places of the Holy Dhama. It was very, very cold there and even the entire three weeks in India so our body was exhausted from fighting with the cold alone.

We went to Delhi at 1.30PM on 28th February with Sriman Harsh Pradhana and had excellent reception by the ISKCON Temple.

We rested very little and said, 'Good-bye' to Harsh and then joined a 1-1/2 hour presentation and discussion on presenting Bhagavata philosophy and cosmology in the formal science areas. There were about 15-professors and professionals present.

After that one hour rest and up at 11:15 PM to go to the airport. One man was killed on a scooter two cars in front of us and then it took 2-hours of standing in lines to get to the Boarding Gate for Brussels.

7-hours in the dark in a tine seat we arrived in Brussels.

We found some clean cheese and offered it to Lord Madan-gopal and then honored the remnants.

We were about to die then of exhaustion, but got in the Boarding Line for the all night flight to New York like good soldiers. When we got to the counter the girl accepted our Boading Pass and smiled at us and tore it into pieces.

Our beffuddled, exhausted mind was about to panic and jump over the guard rail fearing that we had broken some rule and Armed Security Forces would seizes us in a moment, but before we could act on that hysteria, she smiled and handed us another Boarding Pass saying, "You have been upgraded to First Class".

We smiled and said, "Oh, thank you", wondering, "Why us, Lord?".

Arriving on-board we discovered we had a persona servant, a seat and little cabinet that fully reclined to a bed and a white table cloth for each meal, although we declined the pig, chicken and beef and took only fruit milk and nuts.

Honestly without that we could have died of heart failure.

In any case, there were more rigors after that and in all it took 28-hours of hard travel to get back to Franklin, Tennessee. We were COMPLETELY exhausted and barely capable of moving for several days, but it is testament to our Yoga that we are beginning to move again.

We have made great personal and social advancement in the last few months by all these efforts, and specifically we have a a very clear method of fulfilling what seems to be our main responsibility in these last few years or even days of writing.

We, and everyone else, are accepting that we cannot travel like before or even handle so many projects, so a lot of our work now is seeing who we can inspire to continue with this work. It is a very happy project.

This weekend we will be staying at Ravi's home. It is about 45-minutes from here. He was also exhausted by the return journey.

Frankly speaking we consider it a great honor to be able to associate with you in all these personal and professional efforts and if you let us we will continue with this work although in this less physical and more inspirational aspect.

We hope things are super successful at your end also.

Some snow and sunshine here.

Your fallen servant,

HpSwami

AGTSP
paoho
Here we are in Tandavika Das' Ashrama in Franklin, Tennessee. They are son kind to give us some shelter for our service. It is a challenge to decide how much we should rest this body and how much we should push it.

Definitely we there is big room for making our "resting", recreation, more Krsna conscious, but... pur eyes and heart cannot function at 66-years old like they did at 46-years old.

We answered the three most recent letters and chose one older one.

In this way maybe we can maintain the Blog communication for some time more.

We did our on-line banking. Are packing for Houston, Mexico, pick our bead bag up and chant one Mantra every few minutes.

Japa Joe starts in 15-minutes.

Kapi Dhvaja got off and and and.... We really started serious Tava-pache-pache writing. That is clearly our 1st writing priority. We are using a 9-3/4  x 7-1/2 inch hard-bound note book and it is going very, very well. We got a lot of impetous, as always, from reading Satsvarupa Goswami's books.

So, we are really seeing how much, Guru, NIOS, ASA work we can do. The contrast of our visit to India with association of senior devotees and no internet was very, very helpful in getting a contrast. Now we are applying it.

Honestly our energy has improved like 7-times in the last few days after this travel. We were fighting with cold weather every day for three weeks, all of us.

Very, very important now is this weekend when we will go to visit Nitai-gaurasundara, Abhiseka et al. They had new inspiration from the ILS meetings etc. My plans and abilities depend on them, all of you.

We hope to meet with ASA devotees in Mexico and Krsna-Balarama Das.

Hare Krsna. . .

After all considerations these size notebooks seem the best and handwriting seems superior and then they can be photo reduced 2/3rds for direct publishing or re-edited if they have value. We will write TPP Step One, Step Two... Running behind Srila Prabhupada, After words to the NOI. Thank you all.

Twitter is still good but will see how it balances with these DTCs.

7th chapter or all the Gita onwards

Hare Krsna Guru Maharaja. Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! <img alt="smiley" height="23" src="http://hps-d6.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png" title="smiley" width="23" />

BG 7.1

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Now hear, O son of Pṛthā, how by practicing yoga in full consciousness of Me, with mind attached to Me, you can know Me in full, free from doubt.

---

Does Krsna mean here the 7th chapter or all the Gita from this point on? In other words, is this "how" (from the verse) explained in 7th chapter or is explained in all the forward  chapters  (7 to 18)?

Thank you!

Your servant Namacarya das

HpS - AGTSP. Does Bhurijana Das, "Surrender Unto Me" give a commentary? I am not expert in Gita, but as I understand at the 13th Chapter Krsna regresses to more preliminary topics, like gong back to the Cover of the Book level that He presented from 1-6.

Tkank you

Dear Gurudeva:

Please, accept my humble obeisances.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

How are you? I just want to thank you for your  advices. I will try to follow them.

Thank you also for your patience and your mercy.

Wishing to be your humble servant.

Purnamasi devi dasi

AGTSP - We hope our advice is of some value. We follow it. We put fun before politics, having fun with devotees, friends, but sincere devotees like you all take the very, very, important work of politics seriously. Thank you! Do it like Arjuna and Draupadi!
