Dear Maharaja, hoping my mind will calm down. I have long desired to write to you. I found inspiration when I read your message this morning (about a 2 weeks ago via Blog HPS).

Thank you for being on my path. Although, observing my process, I haven't progressed as I would have liked, I continue forward. It is with deep sadness that I accept that you will no longer be my guru Diksa, but with great hope that you will accept me and be my guru Siksa. In that regard, I would like to ask what qualifications or requirements are needed on my part for you to accept me as such.

HpS - We heard from Sudama Swami that he asked Srila Prabhupada while in Japan what was a Siksa guru, and Srila Prabhupada answered, "Anyone who enlivens us by citing from the scriptures or previous acharyas."

He then asked, "Anyone???", and SP said, "Anyone".

So there is Sika, advice, how to get on the path. We are trying to reach the mystical city of Oz but the jungle is thick and there are hills, then someone yells down to us, "Hey, come up here there is a path".

So that is Patha pradarshika Siksa guru. It can be Srila Prabhupada directly, or Bhakta Bill who is a 99% recovered alcoholic who may never be fully initiated in this life, but has sent dozens of people to the Temple.

So, accepting us as a Siksa guru in the Patha pradarsika stage, just means writing to the Blog about how to become initiated. Let us write to Ministry of Sannyasa Services about becoming a Siksa guru at the time of Harinama Diksa.

Currently, I am attending to my Deities at a very basic level. I am doing service to Tulasi at the Chosica temple, following the four regulative principles, I have three children, the youngest entering adolescence, and my daily rounds… I wanted to send you this letter when I managed to chant 16 rounds a day, but I preferred to do it now 🙈 currently chanting 4 to 8.

I think my energy and motivation are not at 100%. I will work on my sleep and exercise; I'll try that.

I also want to read more, so why don't I do what I want? I want to chant my complete rounds, read the SB (since I bought the whole collection! 🤩), and log on to FMS in the mornings. Sometimes I realize the day has passed and I haven't done the most important things…

I eagerly await your next visit. My heart is filled with gratitude for your infinite mercy, and I hope to be more worthy of it. I will continue to watch your every move. Please accept my bows to the dust of your feet, Hare Krishna, esteemed Maharaja.

It appears I have the opportunity to offer the great Bali Mardan Prabhu some legal service, as last surviving original trustee of the BBT.

It appears he wants to revive Prabhupada's original books for distribution.

This appears to be a large undertaking and may involve my relocating overseas.

Do I have your blessings to this end or should I be more circumspect?

HpS - Hare Krsna. I do not know the details of this situation. As far as I know there have been very, very intense over BBT Trustee roles. Standards for editing and publishing. Seems same happened to followers of Buddha, Confuscius, Christ.

In general, put Vaisnava relations before Administrative relations.

Yes, Guru Maharaj, I teach as well as do a little research on Clinical Physiology. My research area of interest is Yoga. So I work on Autonomic nervous system functions. I do not practice Medicine as I can't afford the time .

Guru Maharaj , 3 of the matajis who were part of the group offering raas dance at Guru Maharaj's last visit to Manipur would like to get initiated. They are chanting and following the regulative principles. They are joining morning and evening classes regularly. We participate in temple programmes too. How do we go about the initiation? From whom should they be initiated?

HpS - I would really like to act as Diksa guru for Srila Prabhupada, Founder Acharya of ISKCON. It can be a nice service, but I really see that I cannot handle the Karma. It is a broader topic, but in some ways to our comprehension, it is the job of a younger man.

Yet, we can be Siksa guru. ISKCON GBC law says that disciples can elect someone as a formal Siksa guru along with the Diksa guru at the time of initiation.

This gives interesting perspective on femal Diksa guru also, no?

Means for example that with everyone's agreement and clarification some one could accept Mother Urmilla Devi Dasi as Siksa guru and H. H. Romapada Swami as Diksa under under Srila Prabhupada.

So maybe we can be involved as Siksa guru with them. Other than that H. H. Haridas Das Swami seems like a qualified person to be Diksa guru.

What do you all think of that?

Guru Maharaj, how do we remain steady and consistent in our devotional services? How do we reach the su sukham kartum abhyayam state?

HpS - ASA --- In summary it seems that devotional service is practically described in the first text of NoI. Then texts two and three tell us how to remain steady in executing text one. Does that help? Of course, if we are talking about "nistha" (https://vedabase.io/en/library/bg/4/10/#bb1200), steady, then more depth, no?

Dear Maharaj Hanumay Presaka Swami,

A short epistle in respect to your excessive replies from fallen Souls such as I.

Just glad to have completed the SFRY manual and am now sending it to our NJP command. Now I am ready to die, anything else given is just more of Sri Bhagavans mercy, including your good association.

Now settling into grhastra responsibilities, mundane maintenance, and humbling my puffed-up aspirations... sticking to the needful and Sadhana so I will at least not lose the joys of daily practices.

Alachua has stabilised some of my Faith, though as Mukunda Swami commented, "Our life's end is just an insect bite away." So, my external structure is still pliable... am ready to abandon the frivolities of this particular ashram. Getting ready for Nirjal Ekadasi, need to get anartha's kicked out and keep in the bliss of the Holy Names.

HpS - Very, agtSP, nice. What part does Lord Caitanya want us to play today in His band? Srila Prabhupada was playing on the Big Mrdanga until the very end, no? We can read the purports to SB 10.13 and those were dictated when he was skin and bones. as we remember they are so, so, so lucid.

Once in Raktak Das, HpS decided to [travel] from Mumbai to Pune, Harsh then thought that he can Drive them till there. They agreed.

Harsh knew HpS faith in Krsna, and he asked can He drive fast to save time of HpS? HpS said something like don't over do it.

They reached Pune in good time, but Harsh was tired, but he enjoyed/satisfied, and accepted role of driver completely.

Actually Harsh likes to drive fast imagined himself to be f1,f2,f3 driver because it involves focus, weight lose, competition, in one race.

While Returning Harsh decided to drive even faster, his odometer at max speed of 180.

So Harsh took speed to 160 , and to his amazement HpS was very relaxed, like completely depending on Krsna.

Raktak Das drive we can not afford to loose HpS drive slow, Harsh said because HpS nothing will happen to this. HpS focussed on his beads, Harsh like that what a faith, this man is great.

After getting down in Mumbai, I heard Mumbai host told harsh that Maharaj told him , we won't drive again with Harsh. Harsh took in jovial spirit , chastisement and said Krsna is speed.

TB - Maybe he said that. Prabhupada like fast but safe driving. Tamal krsna Swami may have cause his auto death by pushing taxi driver to go to fast.

Lately a movie came F1 starring Brad Pitt, of 57 old driver coming back to drive and help others at reduced rates for love of race.

Harsh got recall of HpS calmness ,and Harsh focus on his service. Ordinarily no other being generally accepts such service, they get scared , but HpS showed trust in Krsna.

Harsh still has same car, when he sees his tyres rolling, He recall faith of HpS..

Wish HpS was on rear of plane fighter plane and Harsh was doing acrobat from front seat, for his pleasure, v hv to learn how to use Vimana for service of Krsna

HpS - Krsna says, I am the ability in man. Srila Prabhupada appreciated very much the beauty and greatness of a 747 airplane. So, how really great must Krsna be, no!!!!
