1. Do not think that Peru is unique in the challenges that you are facing in managment. It is different there, and so are the special opportunities, but I face the same things in my personal efforts in North America, and then in the Ministry of Education itself. This is Sankirtan: Carefully doing austerities, purifying our own faults, helping others as we see them by the practical authority of Krsna as He orders us.

2. Best always to write to the Blog first, essential. Then you can present the basic situation as you see it for everyone's benefit, then if there are confidential details they can be discussed in confidence with the appropriate devotees. The Gopis a) Good citizens of Vrndavana, b) Members of their own circle of friends, c) Each with a confidential relationship with Krsna.

So, let's be good citizen's of ISKCON, have good relations as a society, send summaries  to the Blog and then discuss other things in the proper settings.

3. ... I personally think it is best and see that Prabhupada when he was present never had ladies in management leadership positions. They should usually lead society from a different position. On the other hand I don't think it is impossible. Joan of Arc was the youngest person, a girl, to every lead a national army, but usually not a comfortable position.

- We have so few people involved in NIMSAR.
- We don't have any clear formal structure, the money we had for formalizing the structure with the government got invested in Baladeva's visit, as I understand.
- I don't feel that our relation with the National Council clear yet. We wrote a simple answer with questions to them, no.

4. If Mathuresa Das can become Regional GBC Secretary, then I feel that his perspective on Academic Education, Sankirtan, will give the necessary perspective for the effort needed. If not then we really have to re-evaluate the what Nimsar is and hopes to do.

So, I think we should wait to discuss our Membership and Management structure in the Glorious ASA Branch, Nimsar, until things are clear with the GBC, which should happen this month.

In any case my personal determination is to always be helping in ISKCON Peru as much as we can. I think that is yours also. I think that that is very common amongst all of our friends, it is just that we have Vasanas, Karma (Under Krsna's Direction More or Less) and so we have to still be in the right postion so that doesn't cause problems.

We started the day with determination to call Robbie Robinson and negotiate about selling our car to him. Before we could do it someone was knocking on our door. It was Mr. Meyers who had asked about buying car two months ago. Then we talked with Robbie. He said he could have the money when we came back from Texas. Don't sell it to anyone else. Then we had Daniel put it next to the side of the house that faces the bank and put up a for sale sign. Within 2-hours five people had called, and we told them if Robbie didn't have the money on Monday we'd call them back. They said, "O.K., but don't forget".

We took the For Sale sign down and went back to our ISKCON management, Sankirtan, efforts.

Gurudeva ha pasado una semana y unos días mas,siguiendo sus instrucciones sigo cantando 16 rondas,4 principios,2 ofrendas al día.

Tengo un Gita el cual estoy leyendo.

El domingo no pude ir a Vrinda pues estuve algo mal, sigo colectando con pan....embarazo sigue bien.

I would like to ask you one question. Do you think that my father is in Goloka Dham with Lord Krishna?

HpS - Hare Krsna!    I don't know, but I do know that if he even taking birth in Sydney, Australia, in ISKCON, Krsna is there with him.

Sriman Raktaka Swami was such a fun person, so personal, how could Krsna and His associates not want to be with him and include him in Their play?
 

Isn't that more important, to go where is proper for us to go, but to be such fun people that Krsna and all His associates always want to join us and play with us?

Considering everything, he may take birth in Gokula in this world, and go on with all his work. When Bhakti Svarupa Damodara left his body, he was my Sannyasa Guru, and very close friend, I was very, very strongly feeling that, "Yes, it is very painful feeling separation from him, but that is only temporary, and as long as we are dedicated to whatever we learned from him about serving Krsna and we carry on his work then there is practically no separation. We really feel our Guru, father, older Godbrother with us taking a very, very practical interest in how the work is going".

How old are your sister and Bhimasena?

Thank you so much for your beautiful reply, it made our week, my parents and brothers send their respects to you. 

One of the reasons of this letter is that I couldn't see your Vyasa Puja date in the Vaisnava Calendar for this month, not for the beginning of January next year. I wrote to the coordinator and asked about it, this was his reply:

Can you please provide us with the details? We know you were Born: January 12, 1948 in Guam but not the time. 

HpS - My mother says that she got back to the hospital room after the delivery and heard the cars leaving from the Base Cinema, which happened about 10PM. So it must have been a little after 9PM. You can check to see if there were any earthquakes of meteor showers, or any other inauspicious events at that time. That would give you the exact time.

Also we have bought our tickets to India, we'll land in Kolkata January 18th at 11pm. We are thrilled with the idea of traveling with you, thank you so much for your kind invitation. Would be nice to know more details so we can arrange our internal tickets and if there is any extra visa requirements we need arrange beforehand.

HpS - Look at the Calendar in the Kapi-dhvava. It is pretty accurate. From the 18th we do this rapid travel in the Northeast: Assam, Tripura, Manipur. That would probably be too intense for anyone except Dhruva. Then you see we go to Delhi/Vraja. That would be nice to be there together. Then Pune, Navi-mumbai, Kolkata, Mayapur. Those dates need a little adjusting, but the rough idea is there. We will update those in the next ten days.

I was invited to dress Sri Sri Radha Govardhanadari. Nrisimha Kavaca Prabhu taught me the process of bathing the small deities himself, needless to say I was extremely happy to be back in the pujari after almost 3.5 years (last time I dressed their Lordships I was 6 months pregnant), from now on, I'll be dressing small Radha Govardhandari every Sunday.

HH Devamrita Swami (Dhruvananda' Gurudeva) was visiting the area, we were lucky to have his association and cook for him. We are really looking forward to having your association too and get to serve you in whatever way way we can.
