Dear Guru Maharaj,

Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupad and NIOS.

Can we finalize a date for the University Lecture? Then I will start designing a poster to promote it. I will advertise it on Texas A&M University Indian Association Facebook page and and message all my Facebook contacts. 

I can arrange for the Indian Students with me here to prepare some prasadam and we can book the library hall or ballroom. 

If you have multimedia presentation or movie, we will arrange a projector.

Athato brahma jijnasa. No time to be idle. I have to do this in service to Prabhupad and Guru Gauranga.

HpS - ASA ----- Ha!   Ha!    Hare!     I meant that YOU should arrange a lecture. That you should give one.  You just be honest and present yourself in terms of what you are trying to do... Trying to offer people somethings which you think they might find very useful. Of course, there will be envious people but we just ignore them.

Don't have to present yourself as a big dude, just as you are and see who comes. One person is O.K.    Then later we might be able to come also or other devotees also.    Have fun.

hare krishna, dear guru maharaj, please accept my dandavat pranams. All glories to srila prabhupad. Honestly i dont chant the guruvastakam with great vigor. I feel like i chant it mechanically, but i will make a sincere effort to do so with offering a wick.

HpS - We must chant with ENTHUSIASM (Hari Bolo!). Enthusiasm means intelligence. That comes when we actually know what the words mean. Learn the word-by-word meaning and then chant with meaning for your Deitys of Radha-Krsna: We aren't qualified to chant HK/HR for You during this most intimate time of the day, but we are worshipping this kind (vande guru...) of guru and so please accept this little music, Japa, to enhance your pastimes.

Wrote this letter two times and lost it. Keyboard is on our legs and we seem to keep jumping to some other tab.

Life's like that for us. Same for you? In one of the lesser, less prestigious hells?

Here it is cold and dark and people are moving like city robots outside banging on pipes and making noise while dogs bark.

Every evening since we came to Saintly Awgo we have been in a different venue, yoga studio, theater and always packed with intelligent people.

Devotees are so attentive but when you travel things are always different. Takes days to figure out the local dinning arrangements. We have adopted the strategy of taking breakfast with the devotees and then only hot milk in the after noon.

Sun comes up behind the clouds and Catholic hamsters beat their drums in shrouds.

We are terrified of the program Thurday on "Hamlet and Arjuna". Laksmana did a great translation of our Power Point show, but we need something much deeper to reach the kind of audience that is coming. It will be in the National Library and Raul Zurita, the national poet will be there.

Be honest. Show what you have. Let them buy BGs. Improve it if you can.

AGTSP.     The first sentence of SB, Preface is our guide, "We must know the current need of human society".

Whenever we meet anybody we have to look in their eyes. Note their gait. Pray to God in the Heart to intimate, WHAT THEY NEED. Then don't hesitate.

There is a Center. Where all our senses become energized in perfect co-ordination and we can prepare to go out and join up with the fleet. For the battle of Good and Evil.

Chile seems like a place where it can take place today. USA is plasticated.

We answered a lot of letters. Our eyes are pretty good. This HP smart phone and external keyboard are working pretty well.

We can bathe and Parasurama Das gets our clothes washed. He is a genius. So at least we are pretty clean in hell.

Guess it is about the same for girls, even if they like designer clothes.

Krsna is the only hope.

We have absolutely no big plans at the present moment. Things are going on in the association of Peru devotees. Little light from India. USA et al.  Mexico.  At heart we are all together.

We can only do this kind of low level, 'ordinary tasks' work, for a few hours each day then we tend to die and look for some plank to keep us afloat.

That's all we have to do, no?   Stay alive with a full morning program and four principles, then ISKCON, devotees, decent folk, will ask us for help in their band.

Then maybe Krsna will arrange for us to meet with someone like our intimate selves. Maybe Himself.

It happens.

Our "Big Plan" is just to keep Srila Prabhupada's feet in our heart and pray that we don't cause him distress and try to be of service there. If that generates external knowledge then it is O.K.

Gracias Guru Maharaja,  por darnos la misericordia de su asociación, estamos contando los días para su llegada.

ASA - Mas practice es hacer arregla como todo el mundo puede evacuate La ciudad.

En el templo de  Arequipa  mantenemos programas todos los días, pero a los devotos aun se les hace muy difícil llegar porque es un poco alejado  del centro de la ciudad.

Hace poco tuvimos una reunión con las autoridades de la junta nacional, ya contamos con la autorización para sacar nuestra persona jurídica y el trámite ya está en curso. Después de sacar nuestra persona jurídica la junta nacional nos devolverá el  laksmi para nuestro  nuevo  templo, mientras tanto el templo sigue en mi casa.

Gracias a la misericordia de prabhu Laksmi kanta de EEUU que nos ha donado $ 1000.00 en libros, estamos haciendo Sankirtan en Arequipa , con la ayuda de prabhu Advaita Takur  Das y Nila Cala Candra Das.

Esperamos sus bendiciones para  que todo esto se pueda concretar rápidamente.

i normally get up at 4 am maharaj and chant my rounds. Sps.  Sometimes when i work late, then i will wakeup late maharaj

 my mom is leaving tomorrow evening to india, so, i am missing chanting from yesterday.

I have been chanting 16 rounds everyday (Most of the rounds in the morning). After initiation, I feel it has gotten a bit easier to chant rounds with more focus. Although I still have a long way to go, it is all because of your causeless mercy. I am following the four regulative principles strictly.

When I met Caru Prabhu after my initiation, he was fondly remembering the Berkeley days when he was the temple president and you were the treasurer. He was telling me that you would walk to the bank everyday with a bag of money and would carry a gun along with you.

HpS - Someone would do that only on the days when he had a lot of money!

He was thinking why it never occured to anybody to drive you to the bank instead of letting you walk.

HpS - There was no one around and it was only 1-1/2 blocks.

Sankirtan wise, I join the FMP whenever possible. It is really enriching to join my godbrothers and godsisters and see their loving exchanges with you. I try to meditate on your short talks during the FMP when I chant.

We also have a conference call with devotees in SLC at 5.00 am during weekdays and 6 .00 a.m during weekends, where we read scriptures for 30 mins and chant together. We finished Bhagavad Gita and are currently reading Isopanisad. I also attend Friday home programs and Saturday temple feast program.

I have been doing book distribution. I have taken the responsibility in SLC temple to facilitate book distribution by maintaining the inventory and accounts. The reception to Prabhupad's books has been amazing. In our 4 outings so far, we have distributed 314 books, mainly BG and SSR. The accounting part is difficult for me. I need to streamline the process.

We also started a Bhakti Yoga Club in University of Utah last semester. We are now updating the facebook pages, websites and completing paperwork in the university to get ready for the fall semester.

HH Bhaktimarga Swami and Madhava Prabhu are coming to SLC next weekend. All of us are trying to invite as many people as we can for the program on Saturday.

I have created a soundcloud account to collate all your lectures in one place (https://soundcloud.com/user-938973912). I have uploaded a couple of your lectures from Boise there to start with. I would like to do this service and need your blessings for me to go ahead with it.

HpS - ASA - Your report and news are so inspiring. You can see from the DTC that we are running through the jungle with monkeys trying to through coconuts at us. We are just hoping to meet someone who understands our deep desires.
