These days, once again circumstances make us beg to be able to surrender to Sri Nitay Gauranga, we can observe that old age and illnesses are there to make us stop boasting, death awaits us, many devotees have left, or are very sick, last Tuesday my mother left her body, and there are devotees who tell me that they already feel that they are in the final stretch, and even so the mind seeks distractions, and winning good companies is very difficult, material difficulties are undoubtedly allies when you can live simply. and you're the real example, thank you very much for accompanying us on this path, your attachment to Srila Prabhupada and the Sankirtan. I pray become a devotee to serve properly.

Most people identify with the boat and when they have to leaves they kick and scream and fight, and then demand to be put back into another boat.

It seems that you have come to the point where you can accept death, leaving your body, without undo violence, attachment, and then you can help others do the same.

Yet the next question is, "What do we do once we leave the body, buddy, boat"?

We have crossed the Atlantic, we have docked in New York, but what do we do now?

If we are living normally, we would have been communicating with our future employers, understanding our job, preparing for it and expecting to be met by a particular persona when we arrived.

So, we do Ekadasi vrata. We learn to live a little more in the spiritual world.

We actually begin to remember what is our job.

Then death is nice.

Giving up our handcuffs and chains!

Correct?

Are you a peanut?

Are you a potato?

How do you know how?

Hace varios años que visito el templo y estoy muy agradecido a KRSNA por la inmenza misericordia de permitirme la asociación con los devotos.actualmente viajo al templo cada 15 dias para asistir a las clases de Bhagavad Gita y participar de Gaura Arati.

Presto servicio en el templo ayudando a los cocineros cuando hay festivales y celebraciones. También escucho sus maravillosas clases y estoy haciendo el curso de bhakti sastri. Vivo con mi señora,con quien compartimos 19 años juntos. Vivimos en el medio del campo a orillas de un rio muy tranquilo,rodeados de vacas y caballos. Juntos leemos el Srimad Bhagavatam estudiandolo y comentandolo.aquí, diariamente canto mis rondas con mucho entusiasmo y alegria.

Soy dibujante de profeción y como siempre viví en lugares naturales también me dedico a la agricultura.

Le escribo para preguntarle que debo hacer y que requisitos cumplir para poder tomar refugio en usted y para poder ser inciado en algún momento.

Me gustaria que usted sea mi diksa gurú,para poder tomar sus instrucciones formalmente,querido gurudeva. Siento mucho cariño por el señor KRSNA y me atrae mucho la filosofia vaisnava. Siento gran admiración y respeto por Srila Prabhupada y me gustaria agradecerle a todos los acharias prestando mis servicios. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Esteban Badano, I am writing from Luján, Buenos Aires. I am writing to you through his disciple Adi yagñadas who gave me his contact. Thanks to Adi, I was able to meet you dear and respected gurudeva!

I have been visiting the temple for several years and I am very grateful to KRSNA for the immense mercy of allowing me to associate with the devotees. Currently I travel to the temple every 15 days to attend the Bhagavad Gita classes and participate in Gaura Arati.

I serve in the temple helping the cooks when there are festivals and celebrations. I am also listening to your wonderful lectures and am doing the bhakti sastri course. I live with my wife, with whom we shared 19 years together. We live in the middle of the field on the banks of a very calm river, surrounded by cows and horses. Together we read Srimad Bhagavatam, studying it and commenting on it. Here, I chant my rounds daily with much enthusiasm and joy.

I am a professional cartoonist and as I have always lived in natural places, I also dedicate myself to agriculture.

I am writing to ask you what I must do and what requirements I must meet in order to take refuge in you and to be able to be initiated at some point.

I would like you to be my diksa guru, so that I can take your instructions formally, dear gurudeva. I am very fond of Mr. KRSNA and I am very attracted to Vaisnava philosophy. I have great admiration and respect for Srila Prabhupada and would like to thank all the acharyas rendering my services. I wish to be able to advance in KRSNA consciousness and grow on my spiritual path, if possible through his guidance.

We are trying to develop ability as cartoonist.

We are looking at lessons given by people like Alphonso Dunn on the YouTube. We like the style of Charles Schultz and Dr. Seuss.

You seem to be advancing very, very nicely!

We have stop serving as Diksa guru.

In some ways it is a formality. Of course, not without meaning, but you take Karma when you do these sacrifices, and our body is too old for that.

This is natural.

Are there nice devotees in Argentina who are doing this function.

Yadunandana Swami is Spain is doing Dika, initiation. He is very nice devotee.

I think Adi or Nikunja can put you in touch with him.

We can serve as Sika guru up to our level of realization, but in general just develop your relationship with Srila Prabhupada as Guru for all of us and you will get personal inspiration from him how to advance in purification, power and beauty.

In response to your question at the end of my last letter.. I am actually living in Houston at the moment, indefinitely!

I also wanted to thank you for your last letter.. you said that we all really have only one Best Friend, and that we will feel lonely until we have His association again.. So I guess it’s better to try to contact Him again, instead of trying to make temporary arrangements for friendship and love in this material world!

I have heard that you may be coming back here later this year; that is great because the last time you left we were thinking you may not come back to Houston. Looking forward. 🙏

ASA / HpS - Seems great! We offer the same as you have done!

But here I am, now the new temporally base of operations for the sk (sankirtan) is in a place called Villa Carlos Paz a pretty place whit a river and a loot of beutifull birds, the principal base is in San Esteban (aprox 2 hours in car from the new one) and it's also a really beutifull place.

My teachers are for the moment just mahara Dhanvantari Swami, now when we go back to the pricipal base we are going to have class whit Devaki about the meanings of SP of the BG and then a few or so months whit Mitravinda about the Upadesambrita and the the rest (or at least is what i know because the organization here is somthing that It's impossible to understand at least to me) but good new's I give 76 little book's and between 5 or 4 BG a really nice number for just 4 days.

HpS/ASA - There are not two people like you! Your Sankirtan is very inspiring for so many of us.

Now about your health it's somthing that all are going to pass in one moment or other.

Here I see people of all the ages and the old ones are the ones that I feel more compation about, not because their bodies but the life that usually without Krsna consciousness they just know about family, sens and all that, but a materialistic life just will only direct them to the worst destiny and they are not so lucky as the joung ones because even if they can reach some knowledge they usually are too accustomed to a material life to accept Krsna, what we can do to the people that simply dont wan't to hear about Krsna not because they are ateist or somthing similar but because custom and the years have made them become a log that can no longer bend?

HpS/ASA - Try our best to be instruments of the Previous Acharya's like Narada Mooooni who converted Mrgari into t a Vaisnava!

And whit little to few question's more to add i said good bye :D

HpS - Have to go to bed early?

There are days that I arrive home at 9:30 p.m., for study reasons at the institute. And 5 days a week I study the scriptures with a group of devotees from 20:00 to 22:00. Sometimes even a few minutes later. It is the most stable time of Vaisnava association that I have.

I generally go to sleep at 10 or 10:30 p.m., sometimes at 9:30 p.m. and other times at 11:00 p.m.

What I have verified is that my body needs 8 hours of sleep to not need a nap.

HpS/ASA - AgtSP! Thank you for your news! You should pray to Krsna to make arrangements so you can get to bed more early, no? Then you have Sadhana time during Brahma muhurta?

HpS - There must be some personal motivation within the spiritual motivation eg. desire to become famous as a religious preacher. Is that true?

Of course I do, I realize my shortcomings, I am a devotee full of anarthas, above all I am very attached to recognition, fame, power, etc. But by his mercy, Prabhupada's and Krishna's, that is gradually diminishing.

There is an increasing desire to serve you and Srila Prabhupada in the sankirtan movement, distributing the books and the holy name, depending on the situation of the person I am addressing.

I wish I had more tools to be able to preach and understand how to get the message across more effectively.

HpS - Who are your Sankirtan partners? If you rely too much on your own management it can be dangerous, no?

You are right, I will consider it more emphatically now, in what practical way could it be carried out? Asking for advice, showing ideas and content to share?

ASA - Yes! Yes! Yes! Taking advantage of the people Krsna sends as Sankirtan partners.

I am very prone to make mistakes and therefore I need the help of other souls, that is clear to me, but the good thing is that I feel the enthusiasm of wanting to share Krishna consciousness, that motivates me.

I want to tell you that my state of health has already stabilized and is even better than when I began to be a devotee, since now I receive the appropriate medicine for my situation, and well, I have clearly matured in various aspects, including the emotional one.

I don't want to make the same mistake again.

HpS - UP ... down... UP .... down. It's natural, isn't it? Learning how to deal with the body. Otherwise it can drive ANY of us to madness.

Please accept my humble obeisances. Have passed many things since I wrote you the last time, now I'm in Sankirtan close to the city of Cordoba, and how you are? The health go on in a good way?

We are sitting in the airport in Richmond. It is 9.48PM, Ekadasi. We are waiting for our flight at 10.37PM back to our base in Nashville.

Our body has failing eyesight. Little congested breathing. Some pretty bad digestions because of a lot of variety of Ekadasi Prasadam offered by the very nice devotees here.

If we chant from our heart we can even make this rotten machine move in ecstacy by the mercy of Gaura Nityananda!

I'm Chanting the 16 rounds and following the 4 principles (but the rounds is a little bit dificult in sankirtan)

Now in the sankirtan i made somthing interesting to sell the book of Srila Prabhupada, when they don't look very confidents about buy the book I play this game: If they guess what is my country from origin they win a book totally for free, but if they loose they have to buy a book.

While I grite this letter aprox 7 persons have now in their homes a Book of SP (just one win a book totally free) I don't know how that game works, but I feel nice about they having now an oportinitie to be Krsna conscious.

In this months probably I will don't have much time to grite you but i hope that Krsna give to me the oportinitie to be in contact whit you.

And a last thing, I got a question from the order of the Bhavagad-Gita, is about the order of the Satkas (sextuple division), they have a meaning to be in thet specific order? Karma-Bhakti-Jñana

HpS - We don't know what are the Satkas??? We don't know BG too well. You are with H. H. Dhanvantari Swami?

He might know.

Karma yoga, following Varna-ashrama Dharma for Krsna, gives us wisdom, Jnana. Then we can do our Karma with wisdom. It is Jnana yoga.

Jnana yoga teaches us to search and find Krsna, paramatma, in our heart. So, karma yoga, manifests Jnana yoga ... Dhyana yoga ... Bhakti yoga! 🙂
