Regarding your health, I have a query: Why is there no heating in your sanyasi ashrama house? Are there problems installing heating?

I know that you are very predisposed to do austerities and everyone's duty is to take care of their health.

They are O.K. They are a little rough. Some cold air comes in, but it is O.K. We wear a sweater as needed. Thank you! Hope your bodily situation is peaceful!!

ASRAMA FOR ASA AND NIOS IN CHOSICA 2019-2021

We are working with Karuna Krishna prabhu to get the facilities ready by the end of the year. As NIOS-Peru we are developing a project of permaculture (prabhu Uddhava, who is an agronomist, is advising us). This project takes into account three considerations: 1.- The climate of Chosica is ideal to make a garden of mangoes and avocados. 2.- To make the project profitable, we can implement a rural bakery and a bio-garden of aromatic medicinal plants. 3.- Expand the academic and cultural Sankirtan focusing on ECOLOGY AND THE SACRED. To achieve this purpose, we seek to officially participate as NIOS in the global campaign of RESTORATION OF LANDSCAPES (in this case in Chosica) promoted by the FAO and the WRI (World Resources Institute). Here in Peru the issue is handled by the SERFOR (National Forestry and Wildlife System), and Uddhava prabhu is one of the technical directors of this institution.

BOOK DISTRIBUTION MARATHON / PERU DECEMBER 2018

Jagad Bandhu prabhu requested us to support this marathon and we are doing so, we have formed a support team: Indira Shakti dd and Rukmini dd are volunteers to go out on book distribution, and Nitya Kisori dd is going to help them with training. Indira Shakti dd will be in charge of advertising and managing social media, and Rukmini dd will be publishing the statistics and reports of the results within Peru.

PUBLICATION OF THE BOOK 'TWIRL YOUR BEADS' IN PERU

Srinatha Krishna prabhu has sent me an email to see how we could publish the book here. I think we can print a first batch of 64 copies (each copy wil be numbered, as it is done in 'on demand printing') for Latin America. Here in Peru there is a shipping system called "easy export" and we can send it in a few days to Chile, Argentina and Bolivia.

Con prabhu Karuna Krishna estamos trabajando para tener las instalaciones listas antes de fin de año. Como NIOS-Perú estamos elaborando un proyecto de permacultura (prabhu Uddhava que es ingeniero agrónomo nos está asesorando). Este proyecto tiene en cuenta tres consideraciones: 1.- El clima de Chosica es ideal para hacer un Huerto de mangos y paltas. 2.- Para hacer rentable el proyecto se puede implementar una panadería rural y un bio huerto de plantas aromáticas medicinales. 3.- Ampliar el Sankirtan académico y cultural enfocándolo en LA ECOLOGÍA Y LO SAGRADO. Para lograr este propósito buscamos participar oficialmente como NIOS en la campaña mundial de RESTAURACION DE PAISAJES (en este caso en Chosica) que promueve la FAO y la WRI (World Resources Institute). Aquí en el Perú el tema lo maneja el SERFOR (Sistema Nacional Forestal y de Fauna Silvestre) justamente prabhu Uddhava es uno de los directores técnicos de esta institución.

MARATÓN DE DISTRIBUCIÓN DE LIBROS / PERÚ DICIEMBRE 2018

Prabhu Jagad Bandhu nos pidió que apoyáramos esta maratón y así lo estamos haciendo, hemos formado un equipo de apoyo: Indira Shakti dd y Rukmini son voluntarias para distribuir libros y Nitya Kisori dd va a apoyarlas con entrenamiento. Además, Indira Shakti dd está a cargo de la publicidad y el manejo de redes sociales y Rukmini dd está a cargo de las estadísticas e informes de los resultados de la distribución de libros a nivel nacional.

Srinatha Krishna prabhu me envió un correo para ver cómo podríamos publicar el libro aquí. Creo que podemos hacer un tiraje de 64 ejemplares (todos enumerados como se hace en la impresión por demanda) para América latina. Aquí en Perú hay un sistema de envío que se llama “exporta fácil” y podemos hacer llegar en pocos días ejemplares a Chile, Argentina y Bolivia.

Thank U very much for this last visit. I have learned that Vani-seva is much more important than Vapuh-seva, nevertheless I am very glad if I can offer You a garland, etc.

ASA - Paoho… We offered a plate of cookies to Srila Prabhupada!! Maybe you will also!

I wanted to discuss this topic before, because actually I have so many doubts about this topic and personally I have heard from You recently for instance that those who assists at FMP have the priority in the Blog. But I have no heard anything about this topic.

I have 2 main doubts:

·        Older Godbrothers must lead the others HpS Godbrothers in an assembly? For example the oldest in initiation (Brahmana) be the president?, and so on. Currently Palika dd is the Treasurer she has been doing it for years and you know She is a very intelligent, honest lady. I am in charge of the communication area, most of the devotees says that this is because I reply very fast. Hahaha! So most of them agree, I guess, do not, Haha. So we just have 2 departments working, and that's it. So when we have to make important decisions like Vyasa Puja etc, the conflict starts. So what is the most correct way to proceed ???

• The other point is that if it is correct or possible to celebrate The Sri Vyasa Puja of any Guru in ISKCON not the exact day of the Vyasa Puja. For example here one group is suggesting that due to your VP is on Monday and is a difficult day for most of us, celebrate in a more intimately way in a house and then celebrate it in the temple the day of HHR's birthday with guests etc. which may be the best option?

If a disciple is constantly engaged in carrying out the instructions of his spiritual master, he is supposed to be constantly in company with his spiritual master. This is called vani-seva. So there are two kinds of service to the spiritual master. One is called vani-seva and the other is called vapuh-seva. Vani-seva means ?executing the instruction,' and vapuh-seva means ?physically personally rendering service.' So in the absence of physical presentation of the spiritual master, the vani-seva is more important."

HpS - ASA --- We have heard that Srila Prabhupada said that he did not want any "old fools" in his movement. This is someone who for physical age of body or date of initiation is accepted as a leader but in actuality is a fool. Of course, we all know this is true in any institution. No leadership by old fools [or young fools].

On the other hand, if someone is a decent person of course we offer respect for age, but of course, then they appreciate the spiritual development and other qualities of those younger to them and defer to them in practicality.

Who has been applying the process the longest?! "I was initiated 20 years ago but have been following strictly only a total of five years during that time." So can we say that he is only a five year, or even less disciple? How advanced where they from previous life. Amongst real Brahmanas there will be consensus.

Easiest thing would be for someone who wants to organize "the formal Vyasapuja on ISKCON property" to write to us here and make a proposal. Then we could offer out opinion, no?

Informal programs in peoples own homes etc. are informal and don't need much of any approval from anyone.

Is O. K.?

As far as I know the celebration on ISKCON property can be organized at a more convenient date than the actual date.

Also O.K.?

Es el mejor reportaje (aunque sólo son 6 minutos) que nos han hecho en cuarenta años. El video lo colgaron ayer por la tarde (hora española ) y ya lleva mas de 4000 visualizaciones. Espero que todos los devotos de habla española puedan disfrutarlo.
