Pamho: mis reverencias maharaja.

El motivo de esta carta es a causa de ABC DAS. El se a estado comportando muy mal hace ya mucho tiempo que a estado molestando a XYZ Devi Dasi. ABC DAS acosa a XYZ Devi Dasi las autoridades an querido hablar con el y se a portado irrespetuoso con ellos. ABC DAS quiere estar con XYZ Devi Dasi el mismo lo a dicho pero XYZ Devi Dasi hace años le a hecho saber que no quiere nada con el y el no entiende, busca a familiares y amigas de XYZ Devi Dasi para molestarla. El me dijo que estaba enamorado de XYZ Devi Dasi pero no es asi el esta obsecionado con XYZ Devi Dasi ella no quiere nada con el. Hemos llegado al extremo de taparla en el templo porque ABC DAS se para al fondo del templo a molestarla . Ella ya ni quiere bailar en el templo ya que se siente incomoda. El dijo que solo su guru podia quitarle el discipulo es por eso que le escribo a usted, el no debe comportarse asi, no solo a molestado a XYZ Devi Dasi a otras madres tambien pero no quieren que se diga su nombre de las otras madres pidieron discrecion pero en este caso si hablo por XYZ Devi Dasi a quien queremos proteger. Hay muchos otros detalles sobre este tema que creo que se debe de solucionar. ABC DAS no a sido sincero.  Esperamos que esto se pueda hablar. XYZ Devi Dasi esta dispuesta a hablar sobre este tema. Disculpe por hablarle de este tema, pero es el unico que puede hablarle a ABC DAS . A los demas no quiere hacer caso . Esperamos que XYZ Devi Dasi se sienta proteguida y pueda estar tranquila. HpS - ASA -- TLGASP. Muchas gracias su carta. Hemos cambiado los nombres de los involucrados porque esta Blog no es sitio para hablar de detalles tan confidencial. Pienso el manera adelantar esta tema para la bienestar de todo es que Vd. habla con el Presidente del Templo como el puede comunicar junta con Vd a nuestra direction de Yahoo particular. El lo tiene.

I'm about to leave ISKCON. But not Srila Prabhupada.
I clarify.

HpS - ASA -- Please, AGTSP. SP is the Founder and Acharya of ISKCON. No one shares or occupies that position, so to leave ISKCON means to leave Srila Prabhupada, no?

I am about to leave my relationship with the local administration, not with Srila Prabhupada and the Sankirtan movement of Lord Caitanya. Actually they already left me a long time ago.

It's 2.30am. My demons do not leave me alone. I have to kill them. The only way is to write about them and they will leave. I've already chanted five bad rounds and I can not continue. The thoughts harass me.

"wherever two or more meet in my name I will be there " I always liked that phrase of Jesus. I think ISKCON is becoming an esoteric entity. Wherever there are people trying to fulfill the seven purposes of ISKCON...Srila Prabhupada is there.

I'm not going to tell the administration what your job is. Actually nobody knows what they do. A few years ago, I commented with P. Mathures on the importance of communication between the community and the administration. Something basic. I told him that from the outside you can not see that they do much, you do not see a vision. May be they are doing many good things, They may have a vision. But nobody knows. So how are we going to work in cooperation? You only know about them when they communicate that they are going to punish someone . Anyway, I'm nobody to judge. I am sure they are making sincere efforts. But frankly I do not see a north, a perspective.

This is not an emotional reaction, just in case. I have been trying to do things since 2002. I have experienced many adverse situations in the institution and I have always kept doing things. Only the hospital took me away for a while. But even I could barely move, I came back. If you look up the word resilente in the dictionary ... there's my picture.

I'm fine. I get up early, I follow the principles, I chant my rounds the best I can, I go out on harinam from time to time, I distribute some books and prasadam, I read, I study. As soon as I finished the semester at university, I took this facilitation course with P. Baladeva from Argentina. I'm busy with my thesis project. In September I start the last semester. And then, next year I´ll start my doctorate. I am focused on that for Prabhupada and you. To improve my service in the education area. But I'm thinking more outward. There are many people who need a higher vision. It is surprising what one discovers and learns with outsiders. This is motivating me more to educate myself to help. In fact I already have a good relationship with several people. I give them books, mini japas, prasadam and we talk.
Association I do not lack. I relate to Srila Prabhupada and my sankirtan group, my students and teachers. Also the sangas vituales, etc. With the administration only a kind treatment. No more.

In the educational aspect, I have already spoken on numerous occasions to retake Peru as the examination center for Bhakti sastri, however they have other priorities, another vision, apparently. I'm not going to insist. There is a group that has finished the course, there are others who are waiting for previous groups and there is a new group that is starting. At first I thought about stopping all this, also because of my thesis, but it would not be fair to leave the devotees who are enthusiastic about getting educated. It would also be a bad precedent for the administration because I would have to say the reason why we would stop. I am thinking that a good temporary solution would be for the devotees to take the exam through an other examination  center that we can access through your generous advice. The details would fix here, how to get a Proctor, etc.

HpS - ASA-  Hare Krsna. Your thoughts sound like my thoughts at 2.30AM after five bad rounds. Thank you for sharing them with us.   Now we need another letter at 10AM after 16 good rounds.

Good means the best we can do.

If we are following the four principles then we are sober enough to know if are making a good try to chant good rounds. That is ISKCON: The community of devotees who get up for Arati and Kirtana during Brahma-muhurta, chant good rounds, read and discuss SB amongst themselves and then after Prasada meet to plan their Sankirtan etc.

We keep ASA that way. You can join us with letters like this or on line and when we visit. When we die we can all go to Goloka.

Taking Sannyasa means to minimize our administrative activities in our insitutuional relation with ISKCON.

So, please write again after 16-good rounds for Srila Prabhupada. Thank you so much for your association!

You will not be many days in New Vrajamandala, so I will ask Yadunandana Swami what day would be suitable to organize the initiation ... Is it good to be able to do it in Janmastami or is it not right? If I could I would love it, but I do not know if it's right.

Regarding the verse, I think the most important part is "One who strictly follows the Vedic literature and chants the holy name of the Supreme Personality of Godhead will actually be situated in the transcendental disciplic succession. Those who want to attain life's ultimate goal must follow this principle ", because it tells us that in this way, it is not that we see the spiritual society and the associates of Krsna as something unattainable, but that we become associates of Krsna, of the Acaryas!!! I believe that we go from being eternally conditioned, to eternally liberated.

In addition, it is the only way to obtain the spiritual world, our greatest desire and destiny ... or that I think that Srila Prabhupada explains to us here.

Follow the Vedic injunctions and chant the name of Krsna, and one is really part of the Parampara. Amazing, right?.

This age of Kali is an ocean of faults, but there is one very good thing, by chanting Hare Krsna one can get free from them and go to the Supreme abode!   Chant as much as possible!!!    That will then overflow as Sankirtan!!   Save your neighbors...

9th Report of THE ART AND THE SACRED

First of all, allow me to apologize for this long absence in sending reports to the Blog. I speak with you every week, but, I know that your communication and organization system of your Sankirtana revolves on the basis of the Blog, therefore, I sincerely ask you to excuse me for this long delay, I will try to be regular by sending reports every two weeks.

HpS - ASA -- Yes!   Thank you so so very much. I guess the main point is that we, Hanumatpresaka Swami, only have a small part in the organization these programs in the Anjana Suta Academy. We apologize that we have not been able to communicate that enough.

Especially in "Art and the Sacred", it very much depends on working with NIOS, as a branch of ASA. Unless we get regular coordination of the work through this Blog we will get into very big problems. Now with just three months until this program things are becoming crucial.  This work is so important for all of ISKCON. This program is one of the premier programs in all of ISKCON.

In relation to the advancement of ART AND THE SACRED, this is the program that we are advancing:

I INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ART AND THE SACRED

October 24, 25 and 26. Mario Vargas Llosa Auditorium, of the National Library of Peru.

PROGRAM

Next week we have a meeting with Ramón Mujica to refine the names of the Symposium days (welcome suggestions). And then with Miguel Polo to see the progress of SOLARIS No. 3, Krishna through, we hope to have the magazine ready in mid-September.

The brochure of THE ART AND THE SACRED have already been received by Beverley in Bogotá-Colombia, there they will distribute them in the VIII Latin American Congress of Jungian Psychology.

For the artistic presentations we have a good reception with the embassies of India, Japan (Flute and Harp) and China (Erhu, the Chinese violin), also our Sufi friend can present a dance of 10 minutes.

HpS - Yes, just 13-weeks to develop all of this. Even less since a lot of the work should be done in Solaris.
We sould suggest that we focus on Solaris to organize the participation, who will join us, and what will be the content of the Symposium.

Participation
We want to reach new people and get them involved with our programs, our ideas, our books, our community, our discussion. We want to involve the ISKCON National Council.

We want to develop more relations with old friends.

Content
You list the event as just these three days in the evenings. Won't there also be other pre-events and even events during the day?

Who has confirmed attendance? How will we host them?

Is your budget suficient?

Please send copies of the contract with the National Museum to the Blog. It is essential. We really HAVE to have these in your next report if we want NIOS to participate. They are a slow bunch in many ways.

We would suggest we start and finish each evening with a musical/dance item and then divide the rest of the evening into two parts as you have done, but we would suggest starting with a longer presentation, say 40-minutes with one presenter and then 20-minutes for questions and answers with the audience and the other participants. Of course, we want to have audio record of everything so we can make movies, articles for Solaris.

In the second half we have would suggest three panelists of twenty minutes each and then twenty minutes of questions and comments by other panelists and the audience.

Themes can answer Hector's three questions:

1. Describe the community with which you identify yourself.

2. Describe what is sacred in that community and

3. Describe how Art allows members of the community to realize the Sacred.

To this we could add the topics:

4. Describe how Art in your life and community, or in the life of some one else, for example, Stanislavskii,  has or is being used to realize the Sacred and to communicate the Sacred to others.

5. Can the world be happy, free from wars and violence, without profound realization of the Sacred through Art?

Esteemed Blog members. Please join in this project. Help the Thakura and his marvelous associates: Nitya-kishori, Luis Tunino et al.

Organize this Symposium in other places, Arrequipa, Chile.

We will arrive Lima about the 24th September. We would love to join other events for this topic in Lima and I think we would also go out to La Paz and Arrequipa. We are discussing this with Mathuresha Das.

What do the members of the National Council etc. think.

24th October we would go to Santiago and come back about one month later. Stay in Lima maybe only one or two nights.

En primer lugar, permítame disculparme por esta larga ausencia en el envío de informes al blog. Hablo con usted todas las semanas, pero, sé que su sistema de comunicación y organización de su Sankirtana giran en base al blog, por eso, sinceramente le pido me excuse por esta larga demora, tratare de ser regular haciendo envíos cada dos semanas.

Las separatas de EL ARTE Y LO SAGRADO ya las recibió Beverley en Bogotá- Colombia, ahí las van a distribuir en el VIII Congreso Latinoamericano de Psicología Junguiana.

Para las presentaciones artísticas contamos con una buena acogida con las embajadas de India, Japón (Flauta y Arpa) y China (Erhu, el violín chino), también nuestro amigo sufí puede presentar un baile de 10 minutos.

I wish You are fine in all aspects Maharaja.

Upon initiation, I have spoken with the authority, Yadunandana Swami, to be able to initiate myself when you are here, if there is no problem with the discipleship course (it does not have to), and he has told me that not from him, there is no problem in the recommendation, and in that I am initiated, if you see it well.
I beg you to please accept me as a formal disciple initiated.

HpS - ASA -- Sounds fine to me. The Disciple Course should be simple and even useful.

HpS - ASA -- We also hope to improve!   All the faults we have cause burden to Srila Prabhupada!

In the same way that in the past I told you, I was not sure about the initiation, because I was not sure of doing things at the level of initiation on the street, alone and married. In the same way, I say to you, that now I am almost completely sure of being able to initiate myself.

About the trip to India and Peru, it is possible that I have to do some papers in Spain at the end of February, it is possible that I do not, but I do not think that I would risk going to Peru to return to Spain right away, so maybe I made a pilgrimage through India and Nepal until mid-February ... so maybe we will not see each other ... I feel very sorry ... maybe if you go to Manipur?

HpS - Yes, you would like that. They would like you!!  You could preach nicely.

I deeply regret all the problems that I give Maharaja, but really when I am alone, and I practice spiritual life, I am very well, even with the principles.

HpS - In general, we have to learn to be alone (with Krsna and Guru), even when we are with others. Our association is not perfect, neither is the association of others who are not pure devotees. So we all have to learn to get regular purification by full morning and evening program.
